It airs at Sunday , 1:00 AM. Which would be 5 PM of Saturday in Europe or 8-11 AM in the US. I just create the thread a bit earlier.

p.s. Please don't rate an episode before it airs. Otherwise I'll need to close the poll until it's time, like it's done in other subforums.

Leave the reminder up there for at least few weeks Pelli. Besides, it makes the opening post almost as sexy as you.

Same here...

If somehow they cancel the airing for episode 5 today,i don't think i can stand another week to wait for episode 5 to be aired.My anticipation already reach its maximum level now.

Well, not exactly...what I'm saying is, instead of having to put in the extra effort of remembering which subforums require a closed poll before episode broadcast, and which ones don't, why not just close the poll for all subforums anyway? Saves brain power, if I may say so myself.

It's not a matter of remembering or not. It's simply up to the mod who opens the thread. I haven't seen enough reasons yet to change my habit so far

monir in the post below states a lot of good reasons. I add that since I usually open a thread just a few hours before the episode airs, it shouldn't cause all that problems. And premature votes go more against the individual, than the community, imho.

And please, let this and monir's be the last posts on the matter. Further off topic comments will be deleted.

Don't worry. Why should it be cancelled by the way? According to the normal schedule, it should have just finished airing.

lol.. I agree that it's a good idea, but then personal schedule gets in the way sometime. Say for instance I've closed a certain poll and wait for the episode to air at a certain time before I open the poll. The episode airs and I don't make it on time for whatever reason. It can be inconvenient for posters who have seen the episode and want to put their input on it. So the easy route is to create the poll when the thread is created and leave it open. Yes, it can be annoying when you see some folks voting on a poll without actually watching the episode, but those voters can also be ignored if the number they are posing is the very minimum.

Traditionally this is not my favorite genre but this show is proving to be an exception. Can't wait to see what drama ensues. Having all 3 girls have significant parts in each episode makes it more exciting than other shows that focus primarily on one girl at a time. Makes it feel more like a competition as each girl makes moves and countermoves. Hiromi and Noe both don't know about Aiko yet while Aiko has seen but not personally met Hiromi and Noe. It will be interesting to see if things can hit an even higher gear once that happens.

Just some quick shots.

- The conversations Hiromi and Shin have are in Hiromi's room.
- The bento sharing with Noe and Hiromi was great, as was the reaction when Tomoyo showed up.
- We finally see Aiko knitting something (sweater vest?) as in the ED.
- Surprisingly, we hear what's going on in Hiromi's head during one conversation with Shin.
- Ep 6. preview is starting to look like an emo fest.
- Maybe just what I saw, but the animation looked not as good as before.

Still my favorite show of the season.

just saw episode 5 and I have to say...: so it begins .

Spoiler for episode 5:

Noe is as odd and cute as usual ,
her brother is too persistent about shin going out with her it's a bit fishy I say , I like how he had no clue who Hiromi was and now he's going to hit on her for Shin to go out with Noe , smart move Shin .
Looks like..Hiromi's apparent happiness is fading away already .
and Aiko's finally going to make her move , w00t .
nothing much to had about Shin's mother , expect maybe my new theory is that basically she used to go out with Hiromi's father , but then Hiromi's mother came and she got kicked out of his life and had to go with second hand choice , her current husband .
can't wait for episode 6 as it seems Drama will finally begin .
also , someone needs to make a gif of Noe licking shin , because that's priceless.

That was quite possibly the best ending i've ever seen to a single episode.

So it begins indeed...

Noe tries to be friends with Hiromi and cooks taco-wieners, but feeds them to the chicken when Hiromi wasn't there at the lunch spot.

Aiko grabs Shinichirou and prevents him from opening the door for Miyokitchi!

Hiromi was surprisingly energetic this episode, though thanks to the meddlesome Shinichirou, her mood took a slight drop... I was pretty surprised when they repeated a scene twice with different view points. Too bad she expected something better to come out of Shinichirou's mouth other than about "#4" Jun...

Shinichirou... is still... not sure about him. He gets time with all three girls. He's still oblivious to Aiko's feelings though...

Miyokitchi - Knocking on the door, not realizing what is happening...

Jun - ...I assume he easily accepted Shinichirou's deal because it was for Noe, but it's not nice for him to just date Hiromi like it's nothing important... He didn't even know her name until now... He was like "Oh, number 6."...

-The picture still hasn't been explained, but it's obvious Shinichirou's mom seems to have a grudge against Hiromi's mom.

Assuming Hiromi is somehow related by blood to Shinichirou, this could be the line he says when she tells him that.
Either way, things are getting... messy. That Jun talking to Hiromi looked like a bad omen...

Tension already between Hiromi and Shin right after he was invited to her room. I was expecting fireworks but not this kind I can understand why hiromi was getting angry. Shin needs to grow some brains because he should have seen that hiromi didn't like him talking about number 4.

Mother is still a bit*h - and from the photo album its pretty much certain that she is bitter about being the mistress

More points to noe for being such a great sport. She actually tried to befriend Hiromi and I think it is working. Why she is trying to do so is still yet to be revealed.

She feeds fried takos to the chicken -___-

And apparently shin isn't worthy to eat them...yet...maybe if he started clucking like rigomaru then she might reconsider. THE LICK SCENE! Giffing O.o

Ai...she is digging herself deeper into that pit by promising nobu that she will make him a sweater. But it turns out that she is more likely making it for Shin (Drama included). End scene was such a cliff hanger with ai taking a measurement of shin's back but then refusing to let him answer the door when nobu shows up. WoW.

I spent the whole episode in a state of excruciating tension. I never knew what emotional high-wire act was going to come next, and which character's emotions were going turn in which way. And after a week of anticipation, this episode left me in a state of even greater anticipation for next week. No relief, lol.

Part of that feeling of tension and anticipation came from the actual plot events, but I think part of it was details of pacing. For instance the long pan up when Noe is coming on the second day, hoping to find Hiromi on the steps for lunch. We got: cooking the weiner-takos, pan up Noe to a sad face, pan up the steps to no Hiromi, all with a sad violin behind it.

It's pretty clear now that Hiromi likes Shin, if it wasn't before. He's pretty bold, going into her room when he knows (or should know) that his mother hates the thought. He probably feels able to because he has, at least in a shallow way, given Hiromi up. But she: "He finally comes into my room, and to say that!?"

I loved the idea of the same scene being repeated from two points of view, but I didn't get a huge kick from it because there didn't seem to be much more info in the second run-through. The friend's e-mail said that she would support Hiromi in trying to get closer to Jun.

Personally, I am frustrated by Shin's apparent inability to see the glorious Noe "in that way." At least he has reached the stage of thinking of her as "not a bad kid."

Jun is masculine and dangerous, but perhaps not in a bad way. We'll see, it appears, next week. "Sure I'll go out with her. She's cute, and I want you to date my sister."

I didn't see any drop in animation quality, but this was the second episode to be done mainly in Korea, directed by a Korean, and with a Korean animation supervisor.

I didn't get why Noe licked him. Her apparent surprise at his shock was inexplicable to me.

And let me join the chorus of praise for the great ending. A cliffhanger with emotional depth.

Might the statement be about Aiko? Maybe she confesses and that's his response. I'm just basing things on what's happened previously in the first 5 episodes. It would make sense if the pattern of the first 5 episode titles hold true for for at least one more episode (Noe-Hiromi-Aiko-Noe-Hiromi-Aiko) and the episode 6 title is Aiko centric because that is Shinichiro's response to finding out her feelings. Otherwise Aiko gets the short end of the stick with only episode 3 because Noe has episode titles 1 and 4 while Hiromi has episodes 2 and 5.

If someone was to tell Shinichiro that he and Hiromi are related I think his mother would be the likely one instead of Hiromi. Even then I would have doubts of it being true because I think Shin's mother seems like the spiteful type.

When Shin was in Hiromi's room she looked disappointed in what he had to say. She was surprised when he knocked on her door and maybe it's just me but she had a hopeful look on her face as she listened to Shin. I think she was hoping he would say what she is afraid to say and make a confession. It looked like she was taking matters in her own hands when she waited for him after school and later put her own scarf on him but Shin's mother once again meddles. It also looks like her friend Tomoyo misunderstands what's going when she sees Noe sitting with Hiromi because she now seems to believe Hiromi's lie about liking #4 (Jun).

Episode 6 previews are exciting. Not sure if I might cross the line by posting my thoughts here so I'm heading over to the spoilers and speculations thread.
