The trick is similar to what Ryukishi07 did with his secret letter in Higurashi.

Go to the music box after finishing the game, and play the last track (弦楽四重奏曲第一番~). Keep replaying the track until the background graphic turns into a character tips screen.

All you have to do next is go into the TIPs screen from the main menu and execute the characters in the same pattern as the background image, and the game will automatically start the hidden tea party.

ummmmm..... how many games are there in the no naku koro ni series? is higurashi the first or sencond? and which one is umineko?

Higurashi is the first one.
Umineko is named the "third", because they considered Kai as the number 2. (while Rei is 2+)

Finally finish reading the story...took a while as I kept sidetracking on other games

I'm not totally sold on the witch idea yet...this being the fact that alot of deaths aren't accounted for, like Sushi-Y already suggested. Also, as the premise of the story does somewhat resemble Agatha Christie's mystery, "Ten Little Indians", there is one thing to really consdier:

In these closed off island murder mystery, it is important to have a doctor-ish character, so we know at whattime the characters died and thus creates all theses questions about alibi. In Ten Little Indians, the real culprit blackmailed the doctor, so when the real culprit faked his own death (to let the rest of the cast and the readers to think that he's not the real culprit), the doctor was there to back up the story. Of course, soon after the doctor was killed by the real culprit, so no one knew about that the real culprit was actually still alive. This enabled the real culprit to do whatever he wants in the shadows, while the remaining surviors can only point the finger at each other

In the end, it's like Higurashi, that in the first epsiode we are introduced to the story and can only make all sorts of assumptions. If Umineko is following the footsteps of Higurashi, then some of the info that were presented might not be as accurate as we think.

If I were to guess I'd say it's Rosa with the help of people that have not appeared yet
It's kind of obvious that Maria is being deceived by someone who says he/she is Beatrice and maybe she is helping the "witch" to make some impossible events happen (like that letter that appeared out of nowhere near the end in Kinzou's room), and there's anyone better to deceive Maria than her own mother.

I did a checking in my umineko folder

Umineko part 1
movie files (2 of them) together are 95MB
Sound Files = 342MB
Image files (arc.nsa) = 151MB

the whole game is around 600MB

the new stuff is 1000MB

400MB of new stuff

text and script take a ridiculously small amount of MB's (not even 10MB)

I wonder what it will be, those 400MB

The game is just code, video, image, sound and text
code and text are ridiculously small in terms of MB's

With the same videos, images and sounds 07th expansion could add the equivalent of 10 chapters of text and code and it wouldn't increase it much

To add it with 400MB more, I can only hope for some surprise


and for comparison

Higurashi didn't grow so much from Minagoroshi-hen to Matsuribayashi-hen and it has much more text
