I'm feeling nostalgic for the world I was playing in just yesterday T_T (literally yesterday because I'm going on an obsession spree to finish this game lol)

I will second on that the anime is not bad. It is pretty good. It improves on some things, other parts aren't as well done but it is a good effort. I myself hope some things are fixed with Refrain in the anime.

How does it handle the time loop? Is it even mentioned? The thing I thought was brilliant about the VN was that with every route, there were subtle changes to the dialogue and characterization of Riki and Rin. (Of course, there's also the improvement of stats, but I'm not expecting that in the anime

Yes they make mention of it and they have Riki waking up in the same place so they are making reference to a loop. This is what we are assuming they are going for. Also Kyousuke mentions it to Kud during her arc.

I don't get what you're asking.
Do you want to ask which ending is the true end or do do you want to ask what her true end was like ? The second one is pretty much impossible to answer if you haven't play her route.

If memory serves, there can't be a good end for Saya. Because she's... you know, also dying like the rest of the Little Busters, only that she's actually trapped and dying in a landslide a long way away, and only wandered into the LB world by accident. In other words, she's doomed to die, and nothing Riki can do would save her

Some people regarded Saya true end as her good end(there's already another bad/dead end in her route) but yeah,whether it good or not depend on how you look at it.

I have recently begun playing this. I'm not far in: I've completed Komari's route, and I'm now doing Rin's route (Rin's route the first time, I guess).

I have to say, both Rin and Riki seem rather... immature. I suppose we already knew that, but it's highlighted a lot more when they decide to go out with each other, and neither of them knows why, or what to do, or even if they're in love with each other at all. Riki's reasons for going out with Rin ("this way I can stay together with everyone forever") seem like all the wrong reasons. I don't know what Rin's reasons were yet, assuming she had any.

EDIT: Nevermind. The actual route part is pretty short. I wonder if I'll ever know Rin's reasons for asking Riki out.

If I run into a Haruka who is specifically mentioned multiple times to be using her right hand for things rather than her left, should that be a clue that it's not Haruka at all?

Last time I heard they finished translating Sasami and Kanata already and around 30% with Saya.
So I guess they're about ~65% with EX content.

Finished Haruka's route. I found it to be really touching. Or maybe touching isn't entirely the right term... evocative? It got to me, and I liked it a lot.

But now that the sisters are finally on proper terms with each other, does everything really have to reset for a new route? It's painful to think that all the progress I just went through will be undone.

Haruka is my second favourite girl, behind Rin. Man, how I hated Kanata at first...

The anime keeps a continuity, just watch it in between reading sessions.

I watched through Kud's story in the first season of the anime before I started playing the game. That's one thing I really like about the anime is how it allowed people to have their problems solved and then keep going. Completely different from the true intent of the story, I realize, but I love seeing the sisters actually getting along, able to just be together as sisters.

On the other hand, playing the game is absolutely necessary for me to truly get to know these girls.

They said they would be further along, but they are in need of translators now. Lots of their translators have stepped down. I'm not good enough to attempt to translate, so if anyone here is confident enough they are looking.

Man. Kud-o's route is... heartwrenching. One of these days I'm going to have to track down the people at Key who seem to have thought "hey, let's create the most adorable thing we can imagine, have people fall in love with it, and then make it suffer!" and do something unpleasant to them for all the anguish they've caused.

It's even better in the anime XD
Seriously, I found Kud's route a bit too drawn-out and not quite as enjoyable as the others, but it's awesome in the anime!
