The Vid Quality seems pretty unsharp. Will the Quality of the Eps be a better Quali?

But i'm still looking forward to this Anime, cause the game was great and i also enjoed the Promo Vids for the game, that where in Anime Style, too. They where really funny, so i hope the Anime will be that too.

The show looks interesting, but I agree with the above poster - you guys could really use another editor. I'd also suggest making the subs bigger and moving them up another 20 pixels or so.

Congrats on your first release tho.

Pretty good as far as I can tell. The quality is rather low but I can live with it. I humbely await untill you can get episode one done.

Why hasn't anyone subbed Viewtiful Joe?

The series premiered two weeks ago and I don't believe anyone has picked it up yet. Come on, the game was awesome, surely the show must be of equal quality!

Well, I've watched the raw of episode one, and I gotta say it's pretty much exactly how I imagined a V-Joe anime to be.
Basically they take what happens in the game cinematics and build upon it, it's pretty darn awesome.
As for why no one has subbed it yet... I haven't the foggiest idea. Maybe there aren't many fans in the subbing community?

cause everybody is doing shows that are most interesting for them and they dont have to comply your pointless and leecher requests, why dont't you better start with "I would be interested in doing viewtiful joe, who can help me?"

Oh, good point. All i'd have to do is take three or so years to learn Japanses and then acquaint myself with proper fansubbing technologies so I could sub the show long after everyone stopped caring. Get over yourself. It wasn't a demand, it was a legitimate question as VJ is a fairly big series and it seemed strange that no one had taken it up yet.

Jackass.

that would be a good start

but you are way too dumb to realize that you just need to assemble people that can do that better than you and just take a month to do it.

why complicate something too simple unless you are...yeah..you are...

one group ist still at it, but i talked with one of the members and there translator has a 56k modem. Thats one of the main reasons (i know about) why this anime isn't coming out.

But i still hope that a other bigger group takes this anime, cause i know t is great, i watched some minutes of the raw and evan if i dodn't understand a word, i liked it.

The same goes with Moon Phase, seems to be a great series, but no group is subbing it (ok, Mahou is doing it, but as they said themself, that that will take some time).

I'd be willing to bet that the answer is "real life". People have midterms, jobs, conventions, and so on that they need to work on, and fansubbing goes to the back burner as a result. It's annoying when it happens with something we really want to see, but it's inevitable.

it's the same fate when "Kaiketsu Zorori" premiered earlier this year
NO FANSUB GROUP PICKED IT UP
AND THEY NEVER WILL!

No wait, the "PaRappa The Rapper" anime recieved the same fate too
NOBODY subbed that either
(ChibiGoku, why did you ditch PaRappa? WHY???)

I actually never ditched PaRappa, It's just I'm actually waiting for someone to import the DVDs, sense the raws are pretty much unobtainable. Not my fault.
The Kaiketsu zorori.....well...thats the iffy one. And GODDAMNIT. I didn't ditch anything. You guys'll see progress, with Viewtiful Joe. Trust me. You guys will. Along with PaRappa.

I was crazy about subbing PaRappa a few years ago... we'd found one raw ep in really crappy quality, and the idea kinda died when we couldn't find others. Such a wierd fun show tho.

why don't you buy the PaRappa anime DVDs for the fansub?

Stop telling people to buy the DVDs when no one is really interested in the series. If you're so desperate, why don't you buy the DVDs yourself and then rip the raws for us? That would work.

I'm not sure how much of this is true but I heard Soulfang is translating the series. Anyone want to confirm that?

Take care
