Well, here goes my attempt to revive this thread.

Do you guys recall Hlidskjalf from the Parasite Arc? To recap, it is an information network, a backdoor into Echelon III, a global information interception network developed by the USNA. It is the most powerful information network I the world and the seven random people it grants access to it are known as sages.

I just recently learned that there is a real information gathering system called Echelon run by the USA, along with various other countries. This system basically intercepts all forms of communication, such as radio, and searches for certain key words to prevent terrorism.

For instance, if you were to make a random phone call and say "nuclear strike on the White House," Echelon would pick it up.

Just by giving information, you hardly revive it.

About that network, let say it's free-speech system. Every secret has the right to reveal itself and every listener, who listen to those secrets, has the right to show themselves and will be shown with or without their consent.
It's just like playing cards (poker for example) with every player showing their set of cards.

He shows up during the Yuutosei manga as well I believe. He's also one of the few attendants for the Yotsuba that doesn't treat Tatsuya like garbage. He's also quite old though..
