I feel a chill on my spine when people mention Eugeo hahaha. I actually prefer him to be on the opposite side(being a cold person after betraying Kirito). Then he tries to kill him with Kirito's own moves. That would be more fitting to him I think.

You're not, by any chance, referring to this translation of the publisher's summary of V13? You actually might just get that.

Though, it's probably in the making ever since he rewrote Alicization, because as early as V9, there have been hints in Kirito's thoughts of his fears that they might eventually face off.

Edit: there's been an update on July 4th that I haven't translated. Having been knocked out by an overnight route march, I can't promise much but I'll get to it asap.

I just read accel world's (Twin Black Swords, Twin Silver Wings), I don't know where to post this but I think it's ok here, DAMN "GRAPHITE EDGE" reminds me of a certain person here in SAO, the way he talks, that happy-go-lucky personality and recklessness, the way he wield his swords and most of all "NITORYU"and black.
I was like, wow who dafuq would not notice this foreshadowing?

I actually had that thought in mind before reading that summary. Since I honestly think that Eugeo will be more fitting for that role.

The publisher's summary has been increasingly repetitive of V13's events now. This summary, however, suggests Eugeo voluntarily put on the Integrator's armour. Whether that was hype or a mistranslation (and I very much suspect the former) I'll leave it till the volume is released and someone gets to reading it.

The update on July 9th is basically commenting on the cover of Alice and Kirito, RKL referenced to "0704" that it was basically as expected, so no further comments.

I'm updating this as well as the original post which I translated the updates for June. Adding a link in my signature too.

Shanksen. In case of tl;dr, I'll summarise.

Basically, the prologue placed at the end of the WEB novel suggests UW and AW are connected by The Fluctuating Light, in some way that isn't clear for the moment. If so, then a possible argument is that Graphite Edge could be Kirito's son - but that's treading very close to wishful thinking. Exercise patience.

I was wondering.....will Kirito ever return to the dual-wielding because since the fight with the Salamander leader's brother in Fairy Dance he has not used it....
I think it is his trademark.... take it away and it feels awkward.....
I really hope he will use it in this arc.

As Tusjecht said, Kirito dual-wields three more times after his fight with Eugene. The first one is in Fairy Dance arc World Tree Quest(When he's trying to break through the Guardian Knights the second time). Second is in Death Gun arc(Where he's fighting against Sterben with his second blade being the Five-Seven handgun). Third one is in Mother's Rosario arc(Where Kirito was helping Asuna and the Sleeping Knights member to break through a crowd of players by holding 50 players together Klein).
