Saw this coming a mile off, with respect to the Gerad/Seig issue. Poor Erza, but she's still hot nevertheless
Q:What will Natsu do now?(in terms of finding Erza. If those are crystals it should be a labryinth of sorts. Or am I hoping for too much here? |

Ye this one was pretty predictable for me as well. The former chapters all held some kind of suprise i couldn't foresee, maybe because i wasn't waiting for new translations? This is the first chapter i couldn't read 'in one piece' after all or maybe the big suprise is still ahead?
I could really imagine this arc to create a genre typical arch-enemy (Zeref / Siegard ) that has to be beaten in the future and that all upcoming arcs will center about it somehow. |

Saw that coming from a mile away, wait... two miles. First, would you really think the story will end with some beam of light coming down and zap the villain along with the fair side? No. Once they mentioned they need magic to complete the tower, I instantly thought of that beam of light as the "fuel" Sieg is trying to make while the Gerad getting the other preparations done; meaning they must be split bodies. It was pretty obvious.

Yea i hope oda doesn't make this as predictable/turn the manga out to be like Rave Master...nothing against RM, but FT has the potential to be up ther with One Piece and Bleach,Naruto etc. Planned properly FT can give the elite shounen mangas cold sweats, any day.

well mangas are always prone to having very predictable moments in them, I guess this is one of em.
Just gotta hope there aren't too many more to come. just be glad it isn't a "Hollywood Blockbuster"

I loved how Natsu took advantage of Erza being unable to move and tickle her, made this dramatic scene a little bit more light-hearted.
Finally it's Natsu's time to shine, as of yet he was pretty useless in this arc but it was mentioned before that the two were kinda destined to battle each other, even though Gerard is plotting something else again since he said before that Natsu is part of fulfilling his dream as well. |

I wanted a bloodlusty Natsu who rages "I gonna kill you dfor hurting Erza" but i got a tickling scene that made me feel warm and fuzzy and inside. Well, i guess it ain't so bad, a little buildup to erzaxnatsu? A crack pairing because the new girl always ends up with the shonen hero, if they end up being anything at all.
