your not the only one that like Remia. i've been hoping that he would do a arc with just her in the after stories. I hope the second season doesn't cut too much of the Remia parts though they probably will. I'm guessing more likely that would be someone on a OVA if they do put it in.

Finally got my copy of the Blu-ray bonus story. I was hoping it would have a new illustration or two included, but it looks like it's all book. The size is about half the length of a typical volume by the way, so this is going to take me awhile to get through. Here are the chapter titles:

And if Canon, were would they be placed in the Main Series timeline.

could you guys remind me if hajime accepted kaori in the original WN or it was until after stories, I read the WN long ago and I don't remember anymore.

i was thinking accepting her and shizuku in the LN would be a good way to expand things, it seems author wants more vols but WN content is running low.

He accepted Kaori, Shizuku, Remia, Aiko and Lily while he was making preparations for returning to Japan after defeating Ehito, the epilogue said that Hajime always had someone warming his bed during that month but it was never shown the scene where he accepted them, it happened on a timejump, let's hope the LN tells us everything that happened on that timejump as it already did with the rest of the things that happened offscreen on the WN.

Even though it probably won't ever be mentioned in the main story, I think we can consider it canon. Kaori actually references the event from LN volume 2 where Shizuku saved her from monsters while she was training, so I would consider it more related to the light novel continuity rather than the anime. This particular tale occurs following the events of LN volume 4, right after Hajime's group sets out west from Horad. Here's a summary for the first chapter:

Hajime's party is driving towards the desert. Typical shenanigans ensue with Kaori trying to get a good atmosphere with Hajime going and getting instantly shut down. Hajime and Yue fire up their pink space, and Shea starts giving Kaori advice about how to win at love. Tio also chimes in with her usual perverted remarks, finally getting a response from Hajime, but he was interrupted by Myuu revealing her previous trauma from the desert in an uncharacteristically dark manner(similar to what was done in Nichijou). Everyone apologizes for speaking lightly about the desert and they spend some time comforting her.

Eventually they arrive at the town of Glina(グリナ), where they decide to stay the night and make sure they are fully prepared before entering the desert. They walk through town, and Yue and Kaori get into one of their usual childish spats, while Myuu ends up chiding them.

Yue suggests dividing into groups to accomplish different tasks, one to reserve an inn, one to confirm their information on the desert, and one to go shopping. Hajime thought at first that she was trying to arrange a date for the two of them, but surprisingly she suggested that he do the shopping with Kaori so that they would have a chance to talk.

Hajime and Kaori finished their shopping quickly and ended up walking through a park. Kaori is enthusiastically telling him about the time Shizuku saved her from monsters when she was training(reference to LN volume 2). Hajime apologized to Kaori for the suffering he put her through due to his unreasonable actions in the past and thanked her for believing in his survival, confirming with her one more time if it was fine for her to go with them. There's some interesting dialog here where Kaori talks about how she will help Hajime regain what he lost in the abyss, echoing Aiko's sentiments a bit. The moment is interrupted by Yue's telepathy telling everyone to meet up at the adventurer's guild.

Later, in the restaurant of the Madder Sky Inn(茜空の宿), Myuu is helping out as a waitress while wearing a small maid outfit.(Why couldn't there have been illustrations in this book!?) The entire room is naturally blown away by her cuteness, and she is worked very hard at her first part time job. Hajime goes all out to transmute a camera. Afterwards, the inn's landlady comes out to give Myuu her pay and talks to Hajime's group for awhile. She warns them about chasing mirages in the desert due to the number of people who die every year, and tells them the story of a man who claimed that it led to another world. Although the legend was interesting, Hajime decided to stick with their original plans. The landlady's money hungry daughter shows up and tries to negotiate to keep Myuu working there, but Myuu has already had enough of work for awhile.

Haha, well I will probably feel some remorse if Overlap ever puts it up on Kindle or J-Novel Club licenses it. It's not a bad trade-off to get to be one of the first people on this side of the world to read it, though.

That illustration is actually going to be a bonus tapestry bundled with volume 11 if you order it from Overlap's online store. There will also be a new bonus short story too. Unfortunately, they don't ship overseas, or I would consider ordering my hard copy from them directly.

No, he didn't. At that time noone talked about romance because they knew that at that time Hajime was just thinking about rescuing Yue, the preparations for the final battle were just three days, so they didn't wait for long anyway.

Looks like the author is continuing the Hero and Maou storyline. Today's chapter was just setup for the arc, but it teased some interesting things. I especially look forward to when Myuu finally gets to meet Koone and Listy. Unfortunately, updates may still be sporadic since Shirakome is as busy as ever. Incidentally, this month's chapter of Gakuen was hilarious. Hajime's true nature finally came out, and Misaki Mori also did an incredible job depicting just how bonkers the Haulia are.

Here's my summary for chapter 2 of The Eternal Artifact. This one is a bit more detailed because there was a fantastic Shizuku and Yuuka scene that I wasn't expecting, but very much appreciated.

Time jumps to about 3 weeks after Hajime and the others left Horad. Aiko and the students in her security force have returned to the royal palace of the Heiligh kingdom. While Aiko was called away to have an audience with the king, Yuuka and the others are talking as they head to the castle's training area to reunite with the other classmates.

Suzu notices them, and she and the others run up to give them an enthusiastic greeting. Nana quickly comments on the absence of Kaori and Shizuku, which makes the atmosphere a bit awkward due to Kouki. Eri explains that Shizuku went out a little while ago and should return soon, but quickly tries to change the subject when Kaori is brought up. After Taeko answered Eri, Nana tried to bring up Kaori again, but was interrupted by Ryuutarou this time. After Suzu gives a vague answer about Kaori starting off on a journey, Yuuka figures out what is going on and starts telling them about how the met Hajime in Ur. After that, they finally hear about how Kaori confessed to Hajime and went with him.

Hearing this, everyone in the security force became excited, except for Yuuka, who was petrified. After a healthy amount of teasing from Taeko and Nana, Yuuka finally short circuits and runs away when Suzu drops a bomb about Hajime having a child. While her two friends chase after her, Atsushi stays behind to tell the others about what happened in Ur.

Meanwhile, Shizuku, who had just met with Aiko, runs into the fleeing Yuuka, who grabs her to ask about Hajime's child. Shizuku initially misunderstood that Hajime had gotten her pregnant, which caused Yuuka to nearly overheat again. Shizuku figured out that Yuuka was talking about Myuu, and the misunderstandings were finally cleared up on both sides, though Yuuka wanted to die from embarrassment. Nana and Taeko catch up, and the four of them talk about what they went through. There was some good discussion where they talk about how they see all see Hajime now that he has changed so much. There is also a humorous exchange as Shizuku recounts how Hajime blasted through the dungeon ceiling with the pile bunker. The other girls' maiden sensors don't immediately pick up on the way Shizuku is describing the scene like a girl who has encountered her hero because they are too busy being embarrassed while recalling what happened to Tio with the pile bunker. Yuuka gets sulky when Shizuku shows off the black sword, and Nana and Taeko think that it will be interesting when those two reunite with Hajime again.

Back with Hajime's group, Myuu is enjoying a pleasant ride in the desert thanks to Brise's air conditioning and refrigerated drinks. Seeing Myuu so happy, Hajime contemplates adding a bunch of artifacts to her house to make life more comfortable, but ends up getting told off by the girls. Reminded that neither Myuu nor Kaori can directly manipulate magic like the others, Hajime adds magic circles to Brise so that Kaori could also drive it if necessary.

After some more banter they encounter a large sandstorm and prepare to drive through it while facing the monsters within. Kaori winds up being frightened of the monsters' appearances and starts choking Yue. Things are going relatively smoothly until Hajime notices Brise's compass starting to go haywire. Brise suddenly gets tossed through the sand and buried like a ship in a stormy sea. They make it back to the surface with Yue's gravity magic and Brise's rocket thrusters.(direct MIB reference)

They end up shooting high into the air and land safely with the parachutes Hajime installed in the roof. They made it past the storm, but notice in the distance the mirage of an oasis. Hajime was reminded of the legend of the desert. He was tempted to investigate, but hesitated because of Myuu. Myuu herself then told him that she wanted to go, and the other girls also supported him. They speed towards the fleeing mirage and finally catch up to it, getting engulfed in a bright light as they near its distorted space.

Yes, he did, he told that to Kaori before beginning to massproduct weapons for the final battle, but that was just a talk with the two firing themselves up for rescuing Yue without fault, but he didn't accept her yet then, there wasn't the now you're mine that he said to Shea after clearing the sixth labyrinth or with Tio before the final battle, that moment came after defeating Ehito.

It's the little things...makes me smile every time Shizuku ends up activating her Ponytail guard.

I finally got around to reading The Eternal Artifact some more, so here's the chapter 3 summary. It was a long chapter with a lot going on, so apologies if the recap is a bit dense. It's hard to get an accurate idea about what's going on with just the highlights, and I didn't want to gloss over some of the more important or entertaining plot points without providing a little detail. 1 more chapter to go!

Hajime, Yue, Shea, and Tio wake up to find themselves in a city full of people that greatly resembles modern Japan. They quickly notice that Kaori and Myuu are missing and are unable to contact them via telepathy. At the same time, a crowd of people is gathering around them due to their unusual appearances. Hajime's group escapes the crowd by running through some back alleys and stop under a bridge to take stock of the situation.(An interesting thing worth mentioning here. It turns out that Hajime actually has a second coat with proper a left sleeve, and he can transmute his arm to make it smaller so that he can cover it up if he wants.)

The city they appeared in looks exactly like the place close to where Hajime's father's company is located, though he's not ready to declare that it is absolutely Japan yet. They decide to split up to search for Kaori and Myuu. Hajime gives the girls the ok to steal some clothes to blend in better or defend themselves as needed. Yue noticed that Hajime's mind was a bit chaotic due to the situation, so she calms him down by kissing him before they all set off.

After separating, Hajime spent some time searching while also having several Ornis drones flying around. Even after searching for some time he finds no trace of Kaori or Myuu. Eventually, he runs into Tio, who hadn't had any luck either. Tio had changed into a stylish modern outfit, which Hajime surprisingly complimented her on. They decided to head back to their designated meeting place to reconvene with the others, but change their minds when they hear police sirens. Yue, now in a sailor uniform, ended up being chased by the police because she executed her trademark smash on a group of people who tried to pick her up. Shea, wearing a purple dress and a parka with a bunny ear hood, got involved in a traffic accident and took out a truck barehanded.(There's a pretty funny joke about how the infamous instrument of reincarnation, Truck-kun, ending up getting reincarnated itself.) Both girls were surrounded by the police as Shea proceeded to beat them using the various martial arts Hajime taught her. Hajime comments on Tio being a reliable onee-san despite being a pervert since she was the only one who didn't cause a commotion(act of terrorism).

Hajime and Tio successfully extricate Yue and Shea and exchange a fist bump, earning them a couple of comments from the other two about them abnormally getting along. They escape underground in order to avoid the police pursuit, eventually coming out of the sewers into a deserted alley. Since no one found any clues about Kaori and Myuu, they start to talk about what their next move should be when their attention is suddenly caught by a loud burst of static. Looking across the street, they notice a thrift store that had somehow slipped their attention earlier showcasing several old model TVs with static playing on the screens.

As they went up to the shop, the image on the TVs changed to show Kaori and Myuu unconscious inside of Brise. Kaori is dreaming about doing something naughty with Hajime, while Myuu is dreaming about the difference in assets between Yue and Remia(reference to the "not Mama" joke in Nichijou), sending Yue into anger and tears respectively. The image cuts out without providing anything further about why the mirage brought them there. Hajime confirms that the place they are in is not the real Japan by cracking open one of the TVs and finding it completely empty, proving that the world was likely constructed from his memories, and thus could only show things he had knowledge about. After hearing about how Yue and Shea conveniently acquired their new outfits in an unnatural manner when they wanted them, Hajime concluded that the mirage would alter the world based on things they strongly wanted, but wouldn't let them leave or bring Kaori and Myuu to them for some reason. Left without any other clues, Hajime decided to go to his home to see if they can discover something there.

Along the way Tio asks if it was fine not to check his father's office since they had entered the world nearby, to which Hajime replied that he had already checked it earlier in case Kaori had gone there. This led to a humorous anecdote about Kaori's past antics that caused Yue to strongly warn Hajime about protecting his personal information.(Also a funny nickname. Yanderesaki Stalkaori

) They finally arrived and Hajime's house and he barged right in. Hajime nearly ended up shooting the mirage versions of his parents dead, but the girls prevented it by wildly introducing themselves since they didn't want to see Hajime kill his own parents, even if they weren't real. Because of this, his parents suddenly start moving like broken marionettes and indicated that Hajime and the others should go outside.

There, they encounter Eto Shin(エト=シン), the consciousness controlling the mirage, who had taken the form of a black cat after reading Hajime's memories.(Apparently, Yue's animal ear cosplay had awakened a certain love for cats in Hajime. Eto Shin also spilled some of Hajime's other secrets like how riding Tio in her dragon form had become an unforgettable experience to him.) The true colors of the legendary mirage is revealed to actually be an incredibly advanced and massive Treasure Warehouse that was created for the purpose of hiding those within it from the outside world controlled by Ehito. Eto Shin is particularly fixated on protecting Hajime because it believes that he is the descendent of its creators. Since he can't just blast his way out, Hajime decided to listen to Eto Shin's full story.

Eto Shin was created in the declining Holy Land of Klystron in an age even more ancient than the Liberator's time, back when Ehito was still physically present on Tortus. In the past, Gruen Desert was actually a rich, fertile land. Klystron was a holy land ruled by a god whose people were known as the children of gods. Their nation was a paradise envied by the world, but soon a shadow stretched forth over it. Crops stopped growing and the land began to wither. The people naturally prayed to their god to come to their aid, but of course the god was the culprit who stole the power of the land. He abandoned Klystron with his most ardent followers and incited the nations of the world into a war to become the next "chosen" people, a tragedy that has played out countless times on Tortus.

After the war had ended, the 3000 survivors of Klystron created the mirage world as a kind of ark where they could live in a space isolated from the world that saw them as God's enemies. Unfortunately, rather than flourish in their hidden colony, the survivors gradually began dying off. About a century later, a group of people decided to leave Eto Shin's world to search for a new land where they could live, promising to return someday, although of course they never did. Eto Shin tried to search for their traces itself, but never found them even after thousands of years. Thus, it has desperately convinced itself that they had migrated to Earth, which is why it thinks of Hajime and Kaori as their descendents even though there isn't any proof of it. It also wants to invite the other classmates to enter it as well, although it can't go to the center of the continent where they are because Ehito's influence is too strong there.

Hajime realized it would take some time to convince Eto Shin to let him leave, so he asked it to bring in Kaori and Myuu. Unfortunately, at that point they had already left the range where Eto Shin could pull them in. Kaori and Myuu had woken up by that point, and because Eto Shin didn't want them wandering around the dangerous surroundings looking for Hajime and the others it had created some dummy versions of them. The problem was that they couldn't function autonomously like the artificial people within the mirage, so it appeared like they were all unconscious. On top of that, a crowd of monsters showed up. Before Eto Shin could drive them away, Kaori had recklessly driven off in Brise. The chapter ended with Hajime and the others shouting at Eto Shin to go after her.

Considering the volume comes out at the end of the month I'd Say we have to wait until late december ti see it completely translated, j novel can be very fast, for example Serei Gesouki has a new volume coming on the 5 and at the begining of semtember we have a new one. Not as fast as I would want but I'm not complaining.

Roberto1 Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2016	could you guys remind me if hajime accepted kaori in the original WN or it was until after stories, I read the WN long ago and I don't remember anymore. i was thinking accepting her and shizuku in the LN would be a good way to expand things, it seems author wants more vols but WN content is running low. __________________

borisdrakoni Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2012	I finally got around to reading The Eternal Artifact some more, so here's the chapter 3 summary. It was a long chapter with a lot going on, so apologies if the recap is a bit dense. It's hard to get an accurate idea about what's going on with just the highlights, and I didn't want to gloss over some of the more important or entertaining plot points without providing a little detail. 1 more chapter to go! Spoiler: Hajime, Yue, Shea, and Tio wake up to find themselves in a city full of people that greatly resembles modern Japan. They quickly notice that Kaori and Myuu are missing and are unable to contact them via telepathy. At the same time, a crowd of people is gathering around them due to their unusual appearances. Hajime's group escapes the crowd by running through some back alleys and stop under a bridge to take stock of the situation.(An interesting thing worth mentioning here. It turns out that Hajime actually has a second coat with proper a left sleeve, and he can transmute his arm to make it smaller so that he can cover it up if he wants.) The city they appeared in looks exactly like the place close to where Hajime's father's company is located, though he's not ready to declare that it is absolutely Japan yet. They decide to split up to search for Kaori and Myuu. Hajime gives the girls the ok to steal some clothes to blend in better or defend themselves as needed. Yue noticed that Hajime's mind was a bit chaotic due to the situation, so she calms him down by kissing him before they all set off. After separating, Hajime spent some time searching while also having several Ornis drones flying around. Even after searching for some time he finds no trace of Kaori or Myuu. Eventually, he runs into Tio, who hadn't had any luck either. Tio had changed into a stylish modern outfit, which Hajime surprisingly complimented her on. They decided to head back to their designated meeting place to reconvene with the others, but change their minds when they hear police sirens. Yue, now in a sailor uniform, ended up being chased by the police because she executed her trademark smash on a group of people who tried to pick her up. Shea, wearing a purple dress and a parka with a bunny ear hood, got involved in a traffic accident and took out a truck barehanded.(There's a pretty funny joke about how the infamous instrument of reincarnation, Truck-kun, ending up getting reincarnated itself.) Both girls were surrounded by the police as Shea proceeded to beat them using the various martial arts Hajime taught her. Hajime comments on Tio being a reliable onee-san despite being a pervert since she was the only one who didn't cause a commotion(act of terrorism). Hajime and Tio successfully extricate Yue and Shea and exchange a fist bump, earning them a couple of comments from the other two about them abnormally getting along. They escape underground in order to avoid the police pursuit, eventually coming out of the sewers into a deserted alley. Since no one found any clues about Kaori and Myuu, they start to talk about what their next move should be when their attention is suddenly caught by a loud burst of static. Looking across the street, they notice a thrift store that had somehow slipped their attention earlier showcasing several old model TVs with static playing on the screens. As they went up to the shop, the image on the TVs changed to show Kaori and Myuu unconscious inside of Brise. Kaori is dreaming about doing something naughty with Hajime, while Myuu is dreaming about the difference in assets between Yue and Remia(reference to the "not Mama" joke in Nichijou), sending Yue into anger and tears respectively. The image cuts out without providing anything further about why the mirage brought them there. Hajime confirms that the place they are in is not the real Japan by cracking open one of the TVs and finding it completely empty, proving that the world was likely constructed from his memories, and thus could only show things he had knowledge about. After hearing about how Yue and Shea conveniently acquired their new outfits in an unnatural manner when they wanted them, Hajime concluded that the mirage would alter the world based on things they strongly wanted, but wouldn't let them leave or bring Kaori and Myuu to them for some reason. Left without any other clues, Hajime decided to go to his home to see if they can discover something there. Along the way Tio asks if it was fine not to check his father's office since they had entered the world nearby, to which Hajime replied that he had already checked it earlier in case Kaori had gone there. This led to a humorous anecdote about Kaori's past antics that caused Yue to strongly warn Hajime about protecting his personal information.(Also a funny nickname. Yanderesaki Stalkaori ) They finally arrived and Hajime's house and he barged right in. Hajime nearly ended up shooting the mirage versions of his parents dead, but the girls prevented it by wildly introducing themselves since they didn't want to see Hajime kill his own parents, even if they weren't real. Because of this, his parents suddenly start moving like broken marionettes and indicated that Hajime and the others should go outside. There, they encounter Eto Shin(エト=シン), the consciousness controlling the mirage, who had taken the form of a black cat after reading Hajime's memories.(Apparently, Yue's animal ear cosplay had awakened a certain love for cats in Hajime. Eto Shin also spilled some of Hajime's other secrets like how riding Tio in her dragon form had become an unforgettable experience to him.) The true colors of the legendary mirage is revealed to actually be an incredibly advanced and massive Treasure Warehouse that was created for the purpose of hiding those within it from the outside world controlled by Ehito. Eto Shin is particularly fixated on protecting Hajime because it believes that he is the descendent of its creators. Since he can't just blast his way out, Hajime decided to listen to Eto Shin's full story. Eto Shin was created in the declining Holy Land of Klystron in an age even more ancient than the Liberator's time, back when Ehito was still physically present on Tortus. In the past, Gruen Desert was actually a rich, fertile land. Klystron was a holy land ruled by a god whose people were known as the children of gods. Their nation was a paradise envied by the world, but soon a shadow stretched forth over it. Crops stopped growing and the land began to wither. The people naturally prayed to their god to come to their aid, but of course the god was the culprit who stole the power of the land. He abandoned Klystron with his most ardent followers and incited the nations of the world into a war to become the next "chosen" people, a tragedy that has played out countless times on Tortus. After the war had ended, the 3000 survivors of Klystron created the mirage world as a kind of ark where they could live in a space isolated from the world that saw them as God's enemies. Unfortunately, rather than flourish in their hidden colony, the survivors gradually began dying off. About a century later, a group of people decided to leave Eto Shin's world to search for a new land where they could live, promising to return someday, although of course they never did. Eto Shin tried to search for their traces itself, but never found them even after thousands of years. Thus, it has desperately convinced itself that they had migrated to Earth, which is why it thinks of Hajime and Kaori as their descendents even though there isn't any proof of it. It also wants to invite the other classmates to enter it as well, although it can't go to the center of the continent where they are because Ehito's influence is too strong there. Hajime realized it would take some time to convince Eto Shin to let him leave, so he asked it to bring in Kaori and Myuu. Unfortunately, at that point they had already left the range where Eto Shin could pull them in. Kaori and Myuu had woken up by that point, and because Eto Shin didn't want them wandering around the dangerous surroundings looking for Hajime and the others it had created some dummy versions of them. The problem was that they couldn't function autonomously like the artificial people within the mirage, so it appeared like they were all unconscious. On top of that, a crowd of monsters showed up. Before Eto Shin could drive them away, Kaori had recklessly driven off in Brise. I hope the second season doesn't cut too much of the Remia parts though they probably will. I'm guessing more likely that would be someone on a OVA if they do put it in.

borisdrakoni Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2012	Looks like the author is continuing the Hero and Maou storyline. Today's chapter was just setup for the arc, but it teased some interesting things. I especially look forward to when Myuu finally gets to meet Koone and Listy. Unfortunately, updates may still be sporadic since Shirakome is as busy as ever. Incidentally, this month's chapter of Gakuen was hilarious. Hajime's true nature finally came out, and Misaki Mori also did an incredible job depicting just how bonkers the Haulia are. Here's my summary for chapter 2 of The Eternal Artifact. This one is a bit more detailed because there was a fantastic Shizuku and Yuuka scene that I wasn't expecting, but very much appreciated. Spoiler: Time jumps to about 3 weeks after Hajime and the others left Horad. Aiko and the students in her security force have returned to the royal palace of the Heiligh kingdom. While Aiko was called away to have an audience with the king, Yuuka and the others are talking as they head to the castle's training area to reunite with the other classmates. Suzu notices them, and she and the others run up to give them an enthusiastic greeting. Nana quickly comments on the absence of Kaori and Shizuku, which makes the atmosphere a bit awkward due to Kouki. Eri explains that Shizuku went out a little while ago and should return soon, but quickly tries to change the subject when Kaori is brought up. After Taeko answered Eri, Nana tried to bring up Kaori again, but was interrupted by Ryuutarou this time. After Suzu gives a vague answer about Kaori starting off on a journey, Yuuka figures out what is going on and starts telling them about how the met Hajime in Ur. After that, they finally hear about how Kaori confessed to Hajime and went with him. Hearing this, everyone in the security force became excited, except for Yuuka, who was petrified. After a healthy amount of teasing from Taeko and Nana, Yuuka finally short circuits and runs away when Suzu drops a bomb about Hajime having a child. While her two friends chase after her, Atsushi stays behind to tell the others about what happened in Ur. Meanwhile, Shizuku, who had just met with Aiko, runs into the fleeing Yuuka, who grabs her to ask about Hajime's child. Shizuku initially misunderstood that Hajime had gotten her pregnant, which caused Yuuka to nearly overheat again. Shizuku figured out that Yuuka was talking about Myuu, and the misunderstandings were finally cleared up on both sides, though Yuuka wanted to die from embarrassment. Nana and Taeko catch up, and the four of them talk about what they went through. There was some good discussion where they talk about how they see all see Hajime now that he has changed so much. There is also a humorous exchange as Shizuku recounts how Hajime blasted through the dungeon ceiling with the pile bunker. The other girls' maiden sensors don't immediately pick up on the way Shizuku is describing the scene like a girl who has encountered her hero because they are too busy being embarrassed while recalling what happened to Tio with the pile bunker. Yuuka gets sulky when Shizuku shows off the black sword, and Nana and Taeko think that it will be interesting when those two reunite with Hajime again. Back with Hajime's group, Myuu is enjoying a pleasant ride in the desert thanks to Brise's air conditioning and refrigerated drinks. Seeing Myuu so happy, Hajime contemplates adding a bunch of artifacts to her house to make life more comfortable, but ends up getting told off by the girls. Reminded that neither Myuu nor Kaori can directly manipulate magic like the others, Hajime adds magic circles to Brise so that Kaori could also drive it if necessary. After some more banter they encounter a large sandstorm and prepare to drive through it while facing the monsters within. Kaori winds up being frightened of the monsters' appearances and starts choking Yue. Things are going relatively smoothly until Hajime notices Brise's compass starting to go haywire. Brise suddenly gets tossed through the sand and buried like a ship in a stormy sea. They make it back to the surface with Yue's gravity magic and Brise's rocket thrusters.(direct MIB reference) They end up shooting high into the air and land safely with the parachutes Hajime installed in the roof. They made it past the storm, but notice in the distance the mirage of an oasis. Hajime was reminded of the legend of the desert. He was tempted to investigate, but hesitated because of Myuu. Myuu herself then told him that she wanted to go, and the other girls also supported him. They speed towards the fleeing mirage and finally catch up to it, getting engulfed in a bright light as they near its distorted space.

haseo0408 Senior Member Join Date: May 2012	Considering the volume comes out at the end of the month I'd Say we have to wait until late december ti see it completely translated, j novel can be very fast, for example Serei Gesouki has a new volume coming on the 5 and at the begining of semtember we have a new one. Not as fast as I would want but I'm not complaining.
