Exclamation

^Found something much better on 2chan. Just look at the resemblance.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raijin
Raijin is a god of lightning, thunder and storms in the Shinto religion and in Japanese mythology.
It has a demon pet/companion Raiju.
A demon whose body is composed of lightning and may be in the shape of a cat, fox, weasel, or wolf.

And what's best, is that Raijin is often drawn together with Fujin, the god of wind. (please SATEN!!)

In case it does not satisfies you, here is a whole list of all thunder gods.

Netko sounds better since it seems to involve the entire Misaka network.

There is something I am confused about. Touma was already involved in resolving a magic-side issue during the Daihaisei arc, so does this make him getting involved in both Science and Magic Side during the Daihaisei arc? Like help Mikoto first then beat up Oriana Thompson with Stiyl and Tsuchimikado afterwards.

Other way around, apparently. Beating up Oriana and then helping Mikoto.

Wait, that's weird, because wasn't he hospitalized after "i will break that illusion of yours" on Oriana? O.o

Subtle foreshadowing maybe?

a)He wasn't that injured
b)I'm sure he didn't want to accumulate more hospital bills.

He was hospitalized but I guess it wasn't that serious. Considering he was arguing with Fukiyose like not too long afterwards.

But was there that much amount of time left for him to participate in Daihaisei after resolving the Magic-Side issue?

The Daihaseisai is a week long. Touma tends to recover fairly quickly so, yes I would think that there was enough time. This was one of his lesser set of injuries.

Oh I completly forgot about that.
That would be interesting twist if Kongou suddenly comes out to help Mikoto.
The mosquito could not have injured her fataly and it should be at least a hour or two since then.

Didn't the events only span a day? for the Magic side.

The bandage on his cheek signifies he has made a miraculous recovery.

Yes, they did span only a day. If I remember correctly, this arc in Railgun takes place on either Day 2 or Day 3.

I don't think miraculous is the right word to use when referring to Touma.

He had only... a few hours to join in on the events then.

Heh. That's true. :P

@ Touma not remembering Misaki later: Maybe because Touma just didn't care/understand the events here that much? (Pre Memory loss) He didn't remember Mikoto's name throughout a entire month of knowing her, and kept with 'Biribiri'

Versus it's months after Daihaseisai, Touma's been dragged in a whole lot of other clusterfrak events, and Misaki showing up in a body that doesn't have one of her more... 'noticeable' traits (starry eyes aren't that noticeable at first glance in-setting on people other than Misaki); Touma can be forgiven for not remembering 'Oh hey, it's that blonde chick (not Oriana, the other one) I've met a while back'

Makes sense, if you tell Touma is he remembers a blond busty woman from the daihasesai he will tell you about Oriana .
