If I had the time I'd dearly love to search back through the thread and find the original translated character hints someone posted a few weeks back. As I've mentioned before it's where I'm basing my original thoughts on Andy x Mix (coupled with the "someone filled my hole" scene in ep4... but don't remember it precisely.

Unless we're being trolled (always possible) I imagine we won't have Andy in a gattai until we find out exactly who Yunoha is, and I think that was expected to happen in an ep or two.

But hey, we'll have a whole new set of answers and questions to puzzle over in just a few hours, so things will get interesting again very soon.

They do need to start developing her as a character at some point... many are her fans but she's actually only had a few minutes of genuine development time in this show. Makes you wonder how any of us could possibly be shipping her with Amata...

If she's going to be an actual member of a love triangle, they need to get the gears spinning.

For anyone who remembers that speculation on what Yunoha is supposed to be weeks back, i.e. a girl using a random "cat" doll as her avatar, turns out that's actually quite near the mark, but not quite. Yunoha is actually an Element User who has the power to turn invisible, which is the reason for the ghost rumors spreading around. And Yunoha personally getting ELEMENT CHANGED by Fudo for Zessica was quite an awesome intro.





EVOL gaining the power to turn invisible and become impervious to beam attack using Yunoha's ability is too awesome for words The number of Yunoha fanart is going to be astounding in the next week I predict

Crap I missed the preview. Let me tell you Amata and Zessica scenes were so much win.

When he flew in class and when they saw Yunoha...boy did I lmao

Amata is really a likable fellow-he gets cuter and cuter every episode (I just prefer Kagura overall)

What was Mikono thinking when she thought of him? Despite me preferring KaguraxMikono at this point, I am glad she shows a little spunk and anger when she sees Zessica and Amata. I really like the fact that she's not really a shrinking violet and Silvia would get jealous of Reika (because Sirius had an unrequited love for her) and of any chick that was near Apollo. So it's consistent with her characterization in the OS. Mikono is really strong, but she lacks confidence because she's powerless (or at least it looks like it)

I don't know about the rest of you but "Subliminal Punch" made die of laughter--oh god I love the names they come up with for attacks

I don't see anything wrong with her jealousy. If he she truly likes Amata she would be jealous, she should be jealous. It's a normal human emotion. I don't think she should be persecuted for that. Although she's forgetting Kagura sent her Libido to OVER 9000 when Amata couldn't even do that, so the way I see it, they're even

- Shradeeeee 8D I knew you'd be fine, but... it's just nice to get a confirmation. Determined to keep fighting, too! We'll get that gattai!
- Oh god, that first half. Fanservice alllllll over the place, I just couldn't stop laughing. The staff knows how to please everyone with that seating order too. Cayenne/Shrade next to each other was good enough, and then Cayenne picking up Shrade in a convertible?!?!!?!? That is so... I don't even know anymore... JUST TAKE MY MONEYYYY-
- Omna Magni music box version during the Amata/Zessica school escape <3
- I guess Okada got her way with the crotch headbang after all! www seriously, I can't believe they still manage to create such funny scenes with Amata's element after we've had many of them already.
- Wasn't that Mikono in warui onna mode, telling on them like that?
- Well, Yunoha being a loli was cute and all, but I can't really ship her with Andy anymore. MIX it is, then. Kegareteru!!!
- I was afraid that they'd downplay the gattai sequences once again, the one with Zessica being nothing special... but the one with Yunoha was a proper gattai!

On the whole, I don't think I've had this much fun since episode 3. I thought the second half sort of lacked impact after the usual school hijinks, but that may be due to the stream quality, and properly hearing the OP song as an insert might get my blood boiling harder~ At any rate, they're definitely doing these character-driven single episodes right. Might as well keep enjoying them while they last...

Reading the spoilers, I'm a bit disapointed at the Yunoha thing. I really prefered it when it was just a living frog doll. The random WTF factor was just brilliant. And I just have no love at all for the type of character real Yunoha is.

They are keeping the best for latter. They cannot blow all their steam too early. I'm sure Zessica will have her importance when the moment came. They wouldn't have made her so awesome if not. At least I hope.

That's most likely Alisia, the actress who played Silvie in Amata's favorite movie and is now kept in stasis on Altair. She's in the OP and the ED as well, the ED also has her with blue hair. I guess the hair color is because blonde would clash with the color scheme... maybe.

Spoiler for Meanwhile, for the actual episode...:

I feel like people reached opinions on an episode without even understanding what was being said...

-Shrade is alive and well.
-Andy convinces the class to switch up the seating... and he gets the *Big Bang* and Doll, and he's complaining!? He has no idea what he's gotten himself into.
-Zessica teases Amata and sends him flying (he's flying for most of this episode, haha)
-Andy also spreads the ghost story, effectively being the catalyst for everything this episode to a large degree.
-Zessica gets scared by just the story, then waits for Amata to finish clean up duty so that she can have company (she dismisses her being there as total coincidence, of course). She denies being scared but clings to Amata's back like a little girl in a scare house.
-Yunoha scares the crap out of both of them unintentionally, and we get hilarious crotch-face sprint from a startled Zessica.
-Mikono angsting over Kagura, then angsting over seeing Zessica running away (quite literally) with her face in Amata's crotch. Misunderstanding ensues.
-Zessica won't admit to being scared to class but ends up only worsening the *misunderstanding* as Mikono goes super jelly and tells what she saw them *doing*.
-Abductors attack! Kagura is pissed and caged, demanding his woman.
-Jin kicks Gespalt's butt with a bunch of mirror balls (wtf was it called?), Amata gets the brunt of the attack and Zessica panics(this episode showed a lot of her insecurities, I'll get to that later), both of them rapidly lose their piloting powers (or whatever) but especially Zessica.
-Fudo gives some wise words to Mikono about what her words may have done. (Stop jumping to conclusions, stop being a jelly! Is my short hand of it.)
-Fudo elemental switches Zess for Yunoha, who quickly and with an apology, clears up the misunderstanding.
-Invisible Aquarion EVOL kicks Jin's ass.
-Amata is a lolicon.

Anyway, if you followed the dialogue and scenes this episode (and its going to be built on next episode, I suspect) we saw a lot of Zessica's inner insecurities. She's a soft side that she refuses to show (apparently only trusting Amata), she's hard pressed to admit that she needs support/companionship, and she can buckle under enough pressure. (She and Mikono are also becoming good friends... but I suspect something bad is going to happen next episode.) She's almost a tsundere... almost. She got a good bit of character development even if the episode's later half went to building up Yunoha. Heck, I'd say that she's actually IN (foot in the door style) the love triangle now because she certainly wasn't before this episode by any stretch of the imagination (at all), but now we can see that she has some attachment to Amata even if only enough to use him as an escort.

That preview is quite foreboding, someone's Aquarion Spada is taking a missile to the chest and a (female's) plug suit is getting ripped apart. We may be in for more misunderstandings next episode too as it seems that Mix is scolding Zessica.

Big Bang, alright.
