When we say deserve reboot, does it mean the series is good? But that would mean it's fine as is. But if it's bad, it doesn't deserve anything. So I'll suggest a mid-card show in Amagami SS to be remade. It's not bad. Romantic progress moved smoothly enough, but Junichi's pretty milquetoast and the lack of conflict makes for lukewarm feelings instead of romantic passion. It's the definition of playing it safe, but without risk there's no reward.

That could work. Really the only thing wrong with the original series is that it's showing its age, and while (sadly) Osamu Dezaki is no longer with us, Ikuhara could maintain that sense of FABULOUS. I always had this impression of the director standing over the animators shouting "MORE SPARKLES, DAMMIT!"

I think the series that easily comes to mind is Soul Eater.
For me that seems like the textbook example of what could use the Brotherhood treatment. A series that was really good, but had to diverge from the source material part way through because the manga wasn't done. Would love a reboot for Soul Eater. Get the fights redone, but more importantly get to see the fights that never got the chance to be animated. I think the best moments for the series came after the divering point and thus that would be an amazing thing if it got a reboot. A personal reboot wish would go to Seitokai no Ichizon. This mostly just refers to the second season. While a better animated first season would be nice, it could survive. The second season though was just a mess. Visually they tried to cut corners with a lot of close-ups, everything just felt so small, and my god they need to redo it with the original voice cast. I get there were reasons they had to switch a couple voices...but they didn't fit.

Back on topic, remake Okami-san and Her Seven Companions. Let the show decide how seriously or not it wants to take itself and it should be much better.

I am not a big manga reader. So I never pay attention when an anime does something different. I see things for their different adptations, rather than wanting something specifically tying with the manga.
Reboot is essentially taking something already made, and then bringing it back for a different newer audience. But it also means the animes get new production, get better visuals, etc. That's why I chose most of the stuff I want to see rebooted. Visuals. I want to see some of the stunning beautiful stuff happening in current anime in my older animes. Nothing wrong with that.

It's a must..
One of the best manga but totally ruined in the anime... And agreeing with Soul Eater also, since for me Bones still did great when it comes to this anime but the last original arc ruined it. Another reboot when it comes to Shounen manga that I think will be Negima! wherein both versions sucks.... want the Shaft-like wherein they did good in the Ala-alba anime but not just a particular arc but a whole manga storyline. Monster? I also think not really, since it's also one of the best classics out there...

Gunnm aka Battle Angel Alita, I feel a cell-shading treatment like Arpeggio of Blue Steel and Sidonia no Kishi could do justice to panzer kunst and arcs such as the Motor Ball arc.

hmm, excuse me if you may; I might not know/understand what you mean for a reboot of a series... the anime of it getting a newer one animation done so it's polished? well anyways for me as of this moment I'll go with that; Polished, remastered w/e...
I'd have to think of more series but for now I'd say Dragon Ball (not dragon z(DBZ has Kai) nor DB: GT(didn't like GT very much, only some of it was ok but I don't consider it canon, lol)). Well actually another could be Trigun, it was done better good though, but it doesn't seem to have much popularity... but I guess that doesn't matter in the reboot sense.

A reboot could be done for the superior animation/budget - an example would be the new Sailor Moon series, or Space Battleship Yamato 2199.
A reboot can also be desired to change the storyline, an example being Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood which followed the manga story instead of the anime original ending of the first series. A reboot might also be desirable to change the emphasis of a series, or to eliminate filler or fluff, or to add greater time to more fully develop characters, or maybe just to change the pacing. Basically any improvement that might be desirable over the old version.
