Yeah but for all we know, in the future that Mikuru came from a couple of the characters may have died/vanished/<insert something equally horrible> but Mikuru isn't allowed to say. I mean she got into a bit of huff when she accidentally mentioned the mole. So presumably the fates of certain people in the future is even higher up the list of information she's not allowed to divulge.

Whatever future Mikuru came from, one thing's for sure, she hasn't seen Kyon for a long time.

2 possibilities:

1. Kyon ends up with Haruhi.

Possibility 4: Kyon ends up with Yuki and joins the other Data entity fellows. He can supply them with human world data for some time

Lol that would definitely mess up timelines, I'm not even sure if their time travel organisation allows their people to meet their temporal clones.

Just a general example:

Mikuru from 2 years into the future visits present Mikuru:

Mikuru: "I've came here to warn you that 3 days from now, at 1458 hours, you will be involved in a car accident. You will be hospitalised for 23 months because you will be in coma for 22 months and 1 month for recuperation and monitoring.

Just remember not to cross any roads at 1458, thanks and may Haruhi-sama watch over you so that we will be safe."

Thats definitely not going to be allowed lol, people would be changing timelines to their liking.

Well there was this one Time/Future Movie with Van Dame (i think it was timecop or something) ... There the theory was :
"Its impossible for a lifeform to exist more than once at any time and place"

So if Mikuru(adult) would touch her "double" it would end up killing both

At least thats what happend in the vandame movie ... the badguys touched -> huge error -> both dead ;D


So no Mikuru teases Mikuru

(Although this theory wont affect the rules of Doijinshis! ^^)

Well, the theory sounds absurd lol

Having a temporal clone is just like having a genetical clone, both can exist and touch each other as much as they like lol

Though theres this theory that each universe has a fixed amount of matter, adding extra matter will cause the universe to overload or something. So maybe no time travelling and dimensional hopping as you will overload the parallel universes you get into.

Not sure where I heard that, but I think its absurd too lol, what the universe has is space and lots of it.

EDIT:

Unless the universe exists like a computer program, and foreign matter will cause the program to crash. Maybe we have to ask the Data Entities.

But I can guess that their answer will be:

"Words would be insufficient for conveying the concept and you would not understand."

Mikuru sees time as stop-frame animation. (This is getting to Ontology again though). Data entity's POV is that it is not a difficult feat and they only transfer data throughout space-time without bothering with physical matter. If that is so there is little conflict with Mikuru past exchanging information with Mikuru in further future... although data entity did mention of the crude method of time travelling Human of future undertake... so who knows. Perhaps a side effect of the imperfect time travelling method is the thing that prevents big Mikuru from exchange of information with her younger self and how that both Mikuru can reveal precious little to the people of this timeframe...
