Can't angels only be killed if their core is destroyed? And doesn't that lie in another dimension or something? Then how did they beat the angel?

We don't know the details yet but angels are immortal so their is no point unless touma erase their existence completely but as long as a believer exist that would power up those beings. And with tons of magicians that believe and pray for power on the angels and holy existence. Their is no way to completely kill it.

Well Accelerator destroyed Aiwass's core but Aiwass didn't died.

I don't think he destroyed the core at all. In the summary, it mentions that Aleister had additional defenses built it, so I doubt the bullet ever made contact with the core.

Anyway glad to see spoilers coming in early. Hope to see more coming. I'm really interested to see the change in Accelerator's personality. It seems he's more open to help than before. He still has those pair of black wings, right?

Spoiler for 21 spoilers:

-Worst and Accelerator decided to team up, even though Worst is still verbally abusing Accel.
-Accelerator got sniped by spies in Elizerina, then decided to help clear out all the spies in the country.
-a bright flash happened after Rikou is healed by magic, then she decided to help after hearing about bioweapons and went to try ad stop them after being helped in Russia. (I have no idea what's going on here either...)
-Acqua stopped Gabriel by doing a Heroic Sacrifice: by absorbing most of Gabriel's energy, but lost most of his abilities by doing so. he was on the verge of death and about to give up on life when Hamazura caught up with him and lectured him why he can't just give up like that.
-Fiamma reached his goal of obtaining the contents of the Kremlin Report while the angels are fighting, and fought Touma to complete 'Project Bethlehem'.
-before they reached the nuclear-missile storage base the 'Maou's Citadel' was attacked, and after the smoke cleared it's Mugino chasing Hamazura all the way there. ["Long time no see, Ha-mazuraaaaaaaa!"]


The rest is basically a summary of what the characters did in this novel, with Stiyl not being able to defeat Pen-mode Index and Laura laughing on the sideline telling him to give up already, Kazakiri teamed up with Accel to fight Gabriel but Accel was doing most of the work, the Railgun's part in all of this is finally landed in Russia;

And a joke(?) where Touma is sexually harassing Sasha, and the author must be on some kind of drug to be able to schedule vol22 coming out in 2 months.
