I cant wait for this one to start seeing how i have lost. Sola and Deathnote in the same week. =( On the bright side this anime seems all Win to me cant wait tell it comes out gives me something to look foward to in downloading every week.

Yeah cuz they are both finished now so yeah i was a little down about it cuz now i was like what am i gona watch. I wasnt sure when School Days was gona start but hey on the bright side within the next 2 months i got a totel of 3 New Animes to watch so i lost 2 animes to watch and i got 3 ^^. Well 3 1/2 God bless the 2 new Code of Gease Eps.

Just as a minor update, Avex solicited all the DVDs, which confirms the episode count for the series as 12 episodes. So before someone asks "how many episodes is this?", it's 12.

Not really. I wouldn't of expected anymore episodes from this anime considering it only centres on the love triangle between makoto sekai and koto. If you wanted something to compare with try KGNE which is similar and had 14 eps... Making it any longer would just take the drama away from this anime.

KGNGE <3 Yeah i know but still sucks when i know this Anime is gona be great that its only gona be 12 Eps i was hopping for 26. Just look at KGNGE they already made a Spinoff and looks to be a 2nd spin off and ontop of that a 2nd Season of the first spinoff -Muy Luv* i think its what its called. I dont really like it when a show is 12 Eps they always feel so rushed. They start off great *a littlw slow* then all of a suddent they just storm threw everything. Its kinda hard to get a feel on all the chars by the time its done.

Being the most aniticipated title of the summer season, if your expectations of the School Days TV anime was along the line of the game or the anime inside the game, then episode 1 delivers exactly that.

It's probably beacuse the plot, the characters, and the seiyuus are practically a carbon copy of the game, which I haven't played/watched in a while. Then again, the first episode of most anime series will be of an introductory nature, thus episode 1 looks like the correct way to set off everything, especially for the audience unfamiliar with the game.

The difficult thing about eroge adaptations (or visual novel type games in general), is about the handling of multiple endings, and the heroine at the end. I can't imagine School Days having a linear plot, although I suppose it would be meaningless to follow the game scenario for a TV anime series.

Itou is depicted as he should, the wussiest protagonist imaginable, Kotonoha is the dream girl, and Sekai is the girl behind the scenes with an ulterior motive.

I can't say the artwork was anything worth noting, the best way to summarize it is typical TNK quality, associated with titles like Kyoushirou/ Lovedol/ Kannazuki/ Valkyrie series.

No opening song, probably due to spoilerish sequences, but they already ran the DVD commercials, complete with the uptempo OP. Always nice to hear CooRie songs, and Rino's vocals, but I did want to hear Kuribayashi Minami for the ending though.

Judging by episode 1 alone, I construe School Days to be acceptable by the original game players, and intriguing enough for viewers from the TV anime, living up to the hype.
