Well I guess it's to be expected considering how underdeveloped the dads are (espescially Hideyoshi who is practically wallpaper in the VN and non existant in the anime)

I think the idea is that they're explored through their wives, who talk about what they're like.

Although I have a feeling this isn't why they don't have any cards :P.

It's mostly because their wives practically overshadowed them. They're smarter than them and even have the most action scene...and they somehow live longer than their husbands. Maybe when they produced a Chiru anime, they might have their own tarot card.

The wives/mothers are just more important characters in the story. I suspect it's a theme reason. Kinzo's the father figure, the wives are the mother figures, Beatrice and Battler are... well, it's rather Freudian.

I'm not sure I could take a Chiru season though after what Deen did to the first one. I'd imagine Chiru would also require that ep8 be pretty close to done first before they start slogging through it, but I suppose 5-7 would take time.

IIRC the anime was announced around the time EP 3 came out. EP 7 was the third installment of Chiru, but just take this with a grain of salt.

NO YURI 4 U.

Though I admit that was what I thought at first as well, much to my displeasure.
