@eras: Unlikely. if you graduate high school at 17 and started college. Finish by 22-24 then you can already be a teacher. It seems you need bachelor or master's degree to be a teacher.

Eras actually means the second one. Of course, Chifuyu is a combat instructor. It's unlikely for the teachers of mundane subject such as Math or Literature not to be at the least a Bachelor.

You forget she was a former rep. If she really did attend college with no interruptions, then she wouldn't have had time to be a rep and still be 21-23 by the time she's teaching. Besides, it was said by Chifuyu herself that no outside powers or countries could affect ISA due to a contract of neutrality. Then again, that raises the question of who's funding them.

Once again, Chifuyu is an exception considering the subject she's teaching directly related to I.S. But you're right, she simply has no time to go to college anyway. This also might apply to Maya, but I have no doubt that, once again, they'll need normally-educated teacher for common subject.

The one funding it still Japan, but I don't believe other countries didn't give any 'contribution'

The second AI makes Ichika more aware of the internal workings of the IS, what people dismissed as the "black box" or strange phenomena will become normal for him :| Also, I imagined that synchronization between the core and the pilot may also cause a boost in energy. Resonance and stuff.

He is somewhat skillful. He is skillful in a physical sense, he has incredibly fast reaction times, a naturally muscular physique, and a 20/20 vision with a extremely good sense of hearing.

He is very unskillful in the fact that he is very inaccurate in calculating anything involving emotions. If rash, unpredictable moves are done against him, he will not understand the reasoning behind it. He is a man of absolute rationalism, but does not understand human emotions due to his harsh upbringing.

When I said it's not all smooth and clean, it could be mean I ended up as lab rats or dead or something.

As for clones, remember that the factor required in I.S. piloting is still unknown in Canon, in fact, I still consider some handwave + technobabble required for some of the male I.S. pilot in my stories. Not all of them should be plausible I admit, but I'm trying to make all those different factor related in a consistent way.

Unlike a IS, he cannot materialize it. He needs to get into the machine, activate it, specialist technicians needed, etc etc. It's more like a manned mech with qualities of a IS.

While a Is user can materialize a part of their IS immediately for self defense and other reasons, he cannot.

Also have to decide on her name already, despite not having a solid one off ability. The themes I have in mind are "messenger" "bridge" "connection" or things of similar feel.

@Zero I think everyone has a theory that it will look plausible. On my case, I think is something like a common factor between Chifuyu and Ichika, ratter than just being siblings.

And that common factor maybe be on other people that would allow them to pilot, or even activate an IS.

And for the whole dissect thing..... no comments

I still consider genetics being the most dominant factor, but I still consider everything like medicine, nanomachine, organ implants, and several things that is borderline supernatural and pseudoscience in nature. I'm trying to make an universal theory that unify all of them, think Minovsky particle and GN particle form Gundam.
