I stopped reading after the chapter called "Light" where Kikyou dies.
Honestly, although I'm a Kikyou fan, I was somewhat glad that she finally died. Yes, it was sad for me, but after falling off the cliff so many times, if was nice to see that she had finally ended her LOOOOOOOONNNNNNNGGG journey in Inuyasha. Congratz to Kagura, Kanna and Kohaku for leaving the stage too. I'm sure you're tired of the four hundred some chapters of appearance I don't think Rumiko is bad at writing shounen series, it's just that she is bad at finishing them. Inuyasha had a pretty interesting starting idea, but I frankly think that it should end in 200 or at most 300 chapters. There was way too many fillers in between, and half of those Tessaiga upgrades eventually become useless. When Inuyasha first acquires the Kaze no Kizu, it was like...such a big deal; now it just seems like a standard attack built into the sword. Yes, I understand that shounen series is pretty much about the protagonist upgrading, then the antagonist upgrades, and the protagonist has to upgrade again, but at least have fewer cycles of these random "I want more power" and actually have a bit of plot. I am looking forward to seeing how this will end though, as Kagura, Kikyou, Kanna and Kohaku's death seem to suggest that Rumiko will stay on track and hopefully end this soon. And why are the names of all the characters who died so far beginning with a K? |

I've been rooting for Kohaku to live (though my main theory - Ternseiga revival - has been shot down by Sesshy's mom) even though I knew he probably had to die for the sake of the story. So I've been preparing myself for it and it's not the death itself that bothers me as the circumstances. I mean - he finally decides he wants to live and poompf! He's dead without a word? Come on, RK - the boy deserves better than that!

Even though it would have been very sad if he stayed dead I would still have liked it. Due to the big effect it would have given, when a character comes back f the dead, they better present a good reason for me to go along with it. I supose that the reason why he came back explains it. However it makes it so obviously that now it's "Inuyasha and Kagomes fight." It seems that with Kikyous light being gone, and possibly Miroku getting better soon they might be pulling away from the battle to come, leaving it only to Kagome and Inuyasha. I wouldn't like it, but I can see it happening......

wow, as crazy as it sounds.....the Inuyasha manga is finally coming to an end. All you Inuyasha fans who gave up on the manga, thinking it would never end, COME OUT AND START READING! With the next chapter, we will be entering the final, climatic battle between the Inu gang and Naraku. I'm anxious to see how Rumiko ends this 11 year old tale.

Are you POSITIVE this is the final, final, final, this time it's real I honestly mean it no more power-up arcs, final, final battle? Because we've been here goodness knows how many times before and it's not funny any more.

I still don't think they can stay together. Unless he goes into the future. If she goe sinto the past she will be her own ancient ancestor...which would be a bad loop of things.
Also watch this final battle be like 50 chapters on its own.
