Since tokyo ghoul definitely ended, at least we still have Tokyo Ghoul Jack, chapter 5 came out.

- Zakki confirmed being an illustration book with author comments (I admit I'd rather have a big ass book instead of B2 comic, but eh. All is gud, no need to make the art look like a crapshoot!)
- The most important thing is that "... and more..!", "石田スイ・・・始動" and ":re tokyo ghoul" was written there.

So yeah, 9 out of 10 chance we're getting sequel soon. Bless the world for finally making things right again (then again, no one sane would want to have the backlash of vol 14 ending that way lol).

Well to begin with, she wasn't fully developed.


But yeah, if Kaneki is really gone, then IMO, the lead should go to her or Touka...with Hide being a major figure too

Hide would be a good protagonist. It would be interesting to see a normal human survive in the world of ghouls using his wits and connections. And he could take revenge for Kaneki.

The other possibility i like would be a new character since i don't think anyone other than Hide could serve as a protagonist as interesting as Kaneki.

Same for me. Touka and Rize just wouldn't be interesting to me. Hide would be a nice human perspective on everything. Or if Ishida wants to do another ghoul perspective, I'd take Amon if he has in fact gotten turned.

I hope Amon hasn't gotten turned since it would destroy the main charm of Amon for me. For me the charm of Amon was that he is a powerful human who puts effort into training and does his best to protect his subordinates and humans from ghouls, however by end came to understand not all ghouls are bad.

If Amon would become a Ghoul that would ruin him in a sense as he would not be human and the charm of his effort as a human standing up to the superior ghouls which was amazing would be no more. At least he should die a warriors death.

I'd actually like to see him turned into a ghoul to see his new perspective on an old foe, not to mention what he'd think of his "father" afterwards. It's easy to condemn something or someone when you don't have to walk in their shoes. So I think it would be interesting to see what kind of changes both mentally and physically he'd make as well as compromises as a ghoul.
