A little bold request, but eh.
Could someone with the sixth BD please scan the 4komas from the booklet?

Maybe because not many people would buy them, if they were any more expensive?

The overall stats:

○化物語 (BD+DVD)【全6巻】
巻数 1th 2th 3th 4Th Total Date
01巻 44,885 56,354 60,429 65,945 82,803 09.09. 30
02巻 57,704 63,407 65,636 66,344 75,953 09.10. 28
03巻 59,926 63,726 64,593 65,222 72,703 09.11. 25
04巻 70,468 73,855 74,348 76,511 83,724 10.01. 27
05巻 66,121 70,347 71,126 71,580 75,239 10.02. 24
06巻 72,066 **,*** **,*** **,*** 72,066 10.07. 28

Looks like stat-wise Kanbaru is the least popular. But seriously, one week of vol 6 and it's almost the total of vol 3 already.

Can't blame them. I'd buy a BD with nothing but 10 minutes of Tsubasa cat doing tongue twisters.

One reason might be that since the release of volume 6 was delayed so much, it allowed more time for people to pre-order and thus gain a better first week sale.
Nevertheless, congratulations to the Bake production team! I wonder if we have to wait until Kizu for the record to be beat again

Not to mention, vol 06 never get a tv broadcast, just a webcast.
That probably one of the reason people buy it...

Any more news about that 'complete guide' that Kodansha would release? Really looking forward to it, it could be pretty amazing..

I can't remember if this was answered here or not but does anyone know what the sales figures were like for Neko? One million, two billion?

It's looks like there is going to be a Bake clock app for the iphone and it costs 600 yen. Worth it or not? Personally I feel that this is just the tip of the iceberg of useless merchandises.

... wonders if *anyone* will license this in R1-land, even as a cult collectible foreign film item (sigh).

I know you'd think with the sales of the series in japan someone would at least be tempted to pick up the series, but seems no1 is despite that I guess companies are afraid to pick it up since it's different. Maybe with Kizumonogatari next year it will get one like K-ON did after it's second series started?

They are probably afraid of the subtiling job that can only work on Blu-ray because the DVD font is just too big^^.

The license costs for the series are probably still too expensive for its niche potential.
