Perhaps in this movie, they'll make an exception. But in reality, the double chidori statement probably means Sasuke hits the guy with the first chidori then he revs up another one and hits him again. Not as cool as having two chidoris at the same time, but its more accurate to Sasuke's current abilities.
Because holdin Chidori is like holding a pissed off cat....on crack. You have to not only hold it, but brace the arm ur holding it with to prevent it from pulling ur arm all over the place.
Besides Im sure sasuke makes the thing as big as his chakra allows to begin with. Y would you fight with a half assed version.
As for the movie.

Anyways I didnt play close attention to the trailer but in the flashback (which I believe is for the sole purpose of giving background on the snow country) Kakashi has his mask on right? But do they show him with his sharingan? I think it would be bad ass if they showed a pre sharingan Kakashi and some of his "original" jutsu' that havent been introduced b4.

I don't think Sasuke can choose how much chakra is used in the chidori. Every time he attempts to create one, he drains a set amount of chakra, which I think is probably a little less than half of his supply. That's the reason why he can only create two a day without seriously or killing himself.
Lol I come into this server to look for the movie info and what do I find? Sasuke using double chidori and older hot anime chicks? Second one I don't mind. J/K hehe. Anyways If someone did sub the movie from the theaters would you watch it?

Anyway, the movie was not related to the Naruto story, is just the story of the Snow Princess, and the part where Kakashi appears as an ANBU is just for a few seconds and he is just riding ......... that thing (I don`t know how to say it english ) that is being pulled by the wolves, nothing more.
The story is predictable, as everybody knows is about the actress, that acts as the Snow Princess but it`s actually the Princess of the snow country (It`s not the same, in her movies she fights, in reality wimp).
At the start of the movie there`s a kunai stuck in a tree and there was a battle and a lot of death poeple ,the snow princess is fighting and Naruto is like Sugoi!, the princess kills the bad guys with her rainbow like chakra and the movie ends; Naruto starts screaming and they get discovered because they were wathing the movie form the ceiling of the cinema.
After that they`re waiting for Kakashi Sensei for the next mission, and Sakura says that the guy from the movie is so cool but Sasuke-kun is great also or something like that, Naruto says something and Sakura gets mad and gets into Inner-Sakura mode scaring all the birds, and suddenly the snow princess appears riding a white horse and is being chased so Team 7 goes to help her and fights, it was just Naruto using Kage Bunshin no Jutsu, and Sakura using Inner-Sakura Lv.2 or something like that (You just can see the angry face of Sakura with electricity, Chidori style, the screen turns white and then everybody is lying in the floor).
Obiously it was just movie recording.
Naruto and a lot of kids want an aoutograph but the princess get mad and tells of everyone and goes away.
In the night she goes to a bar to get drunk, and Naruto finds her and they argue (in this part of the movie everything looks more modern, not very japanese traditional style, and everyone`s clothes are modern looking also).
Suddenly, the rest of Team 7 and an old guy (her mananger ?) enters and say that they need to go to the snow country, she denies so Kakashi used his Sharingan to sleep her.
They go by boat and in the way they do more recording.
When they arrive (to a glacier island like place) they`re going to start the recording (all the movie set was there, the snow princess and Team 7), but the Snow ninjas with Chakra armors appear and they fight, Naruto vs. the fat guy, Sasuke vs. the girl, and Kakashi vs. the one with silver hair and blue eyes, really cool fight bla, bla, tons of new jutsus of Ice Element like the Ice dragon no justu (made-up) and the Ice whale no justu.
Kakashi uses his Sharingan and copies the Ice whale no jutsu, the both use it at the same time and they destroy the island.
.................Lots of talking in the boat................
They`re up a mountain but they stop the cars so the can take a break (Naruto and the camera set guy that looks like Lee have to piss off), suddenly sopmeone comes, and says that the snow princess escaped, everybody goes to llok ofr her and Naruto finds her, the argue (more) and then Naruto carries her in her back, when they` going trough a cave, they hear something and a railway suddenly appears with a train, so Naruto runs all the way till the end carring the snow princess and they`re able to get out before getting squashed.
The train stops and the main bad guy appears, suddenly all the snow country poeple appear wearing samurai armors and they`re ready to fight but the train opens it`S hatches and kills everybody with rain of kunais, more fighting and the snow princess is kidnapped but Naruto is able to get into the airship also.
Naruto uses Kage Bunshin no Jutsu to climb into the ship; Doto the bad guy, takes the pendant of the Snow Princess because he needs it for his something but it`s fake and the snow princess remebers Kakashi grabbing her pendant to see it, and so everybody notices Kakashi has the real pendant.
They catch Naruto, and use one of they devices so Naruto gets hurt himself if he uses Chakra (a red and blue yin-yang symbol gadget with tentacles).
He is wasted to prission and in front is the yukihime(shorter), the argue, and Naruto uses something he hid in his shoe before to cut the chains (he`s hanging), but it fells they talk more and NAruto frees himself even if he`s also hurting himself.
He touches the prison bars, gets electrocuted and faints (poor Naruto, but the woman next to me was laughuing ).
The rest of Team 7 gets in, so when the guards go to see what`s happening (in the evil fortress -_-), they see Naruto fainted in the floor so the open the prison (it was electrified with a jutsu in a paper, like the explosive notes) gate and Naruto whacks them to get the keys.
And frees the yukihime+ they go to the room with the main bad guy and they reunite with the rest of Team7.
Castle explodes, they fight outside.
Sakura vs. fat guy, Sasuke vs. girl, Kakashi vs. ninja with blue eyes and silver hair, and Naruto vs. main bad guy who also has a chakra armor.
Everybody but NAruto fight in the forest/mountain, Naruto fights far away in the shrine like place where they need to use the pendant
Sakura uses an new Jutsu where she throws a lot of Kunais (that are deflected by the fat guy barrier/force field) but each kunai leaves a few pieces of paper that looks like the paper of Sai from Hikaru no Go, the fat guy notices it`s explosives notes but Sakura style something and then there`s a huge explosion.
Sasuke fight with the girl and in the end uses the Lion Combo to beat her.
The silver hair/blue eyes guy uses the "snow wolf no jutsu", but Kakashi cut`s trough it with his Chidori and finishes him off with his copy of Lee`s Omote Renge.
The main bad guy uses the pendant and the snow stars melting, so the secret is that there has never been Spring in the snow country so that`s why it was so imporant to them, but the main bad goy tough it was something else
Naruto attacks but is easily beaten, but continues, si uses his "dark energy dragon no jutsu" to attack Naruto, but he still continues fighting, suddenly Sasuke appears and uses a double Chidori and breaks a part of Doto`s armor but then is beaten in 1 hit.
Naruto uses Kage Bunshin no Jutsu, and Doto uses "Dark Tornado no jutsu" and there`s a take of the Tornado form far away with all the bunshis spinning around in the air ( cool looking)
Doto uses (double dark energy dragon no jutsu and since the ice is melting, the floor breaks and falls in the water.
Naruto calls Kyubi from his Innerself and breaks that gadget he had in his abdomen (the exact same place as the kyubi seal).
And appears with his Rasengan ready so Doto isntead of hitting him hits the bunshin and Naruto uses the Rasengan on him (cool animation).
He flies away sppining and all the kids in the cinema were laughing SHUT UP!
Crashed into a mirror.
Bad guys defeated, there`s spring in the snow county, Naruto and Yukihime are friends HAPPY ENDING!
In the spring conmmemoretion party, the Yukihime comes to say hello to everybody and thank them and when she goes away she has Kakashis "Icha Icha Paradise" or something, and Kakashi`s face like "wait a sec", "inside there`s....", "my precious book".
So she goes away and all the kids start asking for autographs and she gives the smiling (Kakashi is stil tickling) and Naruto says he aslo wants an Autographs, and Sasuke says "I have one" or something like that and everybody "heh!!"

There also was a small movie of the Konoha genin sport competition, and at the stars Naruto need to use the toilet but he never can, and every game he is suffering more.
And when he tries to go to the toilet, there`s a huge line, hahah and Gaara is also waiting in the line for the toilet, and Itachi and Kisame togheter to in the line.
In the next break, he can`t use the toilet because they`re cleaning it, so he sees the sign of the women`s restroom and thinks and blushes, but suddenly Hinata comes out of the toilet and surprises Naruto so he has to hold it with his hand so it doesn`t "come out.
And Hinata says she wants to talk to Naruto and takes a lot of time with her "Ano", "Eto", while NAruto is dying, in the end she says "good luck" or something like that and Naruto............... -_-
Next time tries he tries to go to a portable toilet but Chouji breaks all them up with his "ball" jutsu.
Then, he finds other normal toilet, but to play it sure he uses kage bunshin no jutsu, but, now all the bunshins also have to use the toilet so they all stuck up on the restroom, Naruto cancels them, but, the bunshins inside the toilets left all the doors locked so.....
Naruto tries to open all the toilets but they`re all empty and locked, except one,... where Shino(?, the inscect guy) is........................................
In the end there`s only one more competition, the running one with the bar, Naruto starts running before he gets the sticks form Sasuke, so Sasuke following Naruto, "accidentaly" shoves it up Naruto`s ass ( the OoO! face from Sakura and Ino, and Hinata blushing).
Naruto runs so fast he wins and goes quickly to the toilet, but everybody else says "wait!", the want the congratulate him or something and Naruto says "I don`t care anymore" or something like that and then there`s the censoring of Naruto laughing and smiling in a flower field but you can every everybody`s else voice like "yuck" or "Naruto"
Overall is a really good movie but defiantely not linked to the main story, at all.

By the way outside next to the snacks there was a "Naruto Movie" shop with all kind of things.
And the first 70,000 poople get a "Naruto Fashion" necklace, there`s Naruto, Kakashi and Sasuke`s version (orange, green and blue).
I got the Naruto version ^^.
