I finally had a chance to complete this series.

I can totally relate to the lead's glasses fetish as I'm a bit of a meganist myself (black hair and glasses send me over the top). Overall I thought the art was top-notch. I really appreciated that they kept the full frame of the glasses even though it meant covering up the eye. It always bothered me in other anime where the frames were cut through so the viewer could see the eye.

I can see where other posters have said that the plot if a bit confusing, but hey, it wouldn't be anime if it wasn't a little confusing, right?

At the end though, I was totally thinking of Dusk Maiden of Amnesia, and sure enough, I was right.

In the end though, I liked this series.

Also, the Bad Guy® drives a bitchin car.

Damn, an AMV of this anime put hype on me (the meganekko with wool jumper and stockings is one of my fetishes), but it's not out yet in BD fully...

Can't wait!

I really like how the two male characters are completely confident in their perversions, with no shame, and are fully capable of handling the girls, rather than being stringed around.

Any expectation ? On my side I would like an, even sort, explanation about what the hell happened in the ending.
A short sequel would do it.

About the movie, I'd really like for it to be related to Akihito's parents as well as the other adults from the story. Maybe they could show their past, how everyone met or things like that, it could end up being really interesting.

If it's a recap, I wouldn't mind as long as they explain in a better way the ending, and if it's a sequel then I think it's ok too.

If this is going to be a prequel, it'd be very nice to see more of Izumi Nase (when she's younger). Ayako Kawasumi certainly knows what she is doing and it's always lovely to hear her put the shine to a character's voice.

Does the PV say that there will be more "Idol Saiban" episodes? If so, does it say who will be the "defendant" during those episodes?

We already have Akihito, Nino-sensei and Hiroomi. Next up would be Akihito's mom Yayoi and Izumi Nase herself.

As for the movie, I'll reserve my hype for until the story of the movie shows up. It can be as disappointing as a recap movie like Rikka Kai, an original story outside of the anime plot, an original story based on the anime, or a direct adaptation of the light novel series' plot.

Hmm, what will the "four idols" charge Izumi Nase with? Being cold and distant to her younger siblings?

Anyway, while it would have been nice to get a prequel series focussing on her, I'll still enjoy seeing more of this underappreciated series.

Episode 0 was AMAZING. It almost felt like I was watching a movie at times. As far as it being a prequel goes, it did a great job of establishing the relationship between Aki-Hiro-Mitsu that we see in the series. They really should have tried to fit this into the season somehow. I felt terrible for Akihito throughout:

I think they were supposed to come with the seventh volume of the DVD/ BD
but, probably there are not subs right now.

The OVA reminds me once again, why I like this series. Superb action animation KyoAni-quality (G-10); music; that OP and ED sequence; it covers Nase and Akihito side and it did makes the story more fleshed out. Added with the specials at the BDs (not the idol ones), we can see why several characters act like they've portrayed in the actual show. For particular, the Nase siblings and of course a glimpse of Akihito's 'mother'.

So, this OVA and Specials (again, not the idol ones) is not meant to add more meat but to complete it. Explain things which never got touched in S1. I hope the movie will have more new materials and not just... a recaps.

It's strange how good this series is without Mirai. The OVA is pretty much fantastic but the series itself was dragged down by her presence.
