No.

The methods of your group far too different. The abilities though they fit right in canon are different from the system of SMT. It isn't a matter of enchanting equipment. It is complete retranslation of the past systems of magic. What you have is magic engineering. What I'm looking for is technomagic derived from true magic.

I suppose that the DSA could have 2 factions. The Laplace and the Akashic. The Laplace synch the user's existence with those of the demons as well as the innate reality warp to allow increased physical ability and magic within a harmonizer field. Ofcourse it's still possible to use magic normally but the system allows for much easier execution.

Akashic record would make use of the Akashic record or universal memory. The system can only perform temporary partial data modification and change the user's capabilities from the "ground up" so to speak. the record is generally used to call on data of demons, angels and other monsters as well.

For both systems it is important to have an effective terminal or app carrier. They can be a game system, a computer, a celphone or even a tablet.

Effectively both systems would be active side by side. app distribution is by invite. Either by another user or the system admin

The bold was exactly the point of it. I swear that was bound to happen, but I got criticized so much I left the Toaru stage, and leaving this faction in the locker.

Then Kamachi created the GREMLIN and I was vindicated. By then however, Toaru had "mutated" so badly that the people criticizing me had already all stopped being fans.

But anyway this faction is just too damn OP plus GREMLIN is essentially the non-Templar version of it, so I'll just keep this sealed up forever.

This dossier however was the primer for a series of fics centered on a small series of events told from a boy esper named Nii (Two in Japanese.)

~~~~~~
The Black ESPer
Name: Nii
Alias: Park Jun Yang, Alchemist, JD109
Age: 13
Birthday: 12-03
Grade: Level 3
Hair: Jet black
Eyes: Brown
Usual wear: School uniform of white shirt and long navy pants. He adds a dark marine jeans jacket over the top. Other than that, he looks so ordinary that no one notices him.
When at work, he puts on a long black jacket over black shirt, gloves, pants and boots, completing the look with a featureless ceramic mask. It was assembled by Suu, who was in turn inspired by a light novel she read online.
Magic Type: ESP
Ability: Quark Shift -- Subatomic particle manipulation
Proficiencies: Close-Combat Mastery, Fleet-of-foot, Stealth
Other equipment:
A pair of daggers shaped like a cross, Academy-City-made wrist-mounted grapple with built-in winches running on ultrafine plasteel wire
Affiliation: NUMBER
VA: Marina Inoue
About Park
Even under the guise of Park Jun Yang, Nii prefers to keep to himself and his companions Suu, Shan and Hachi. Not a habitual talker and a complete unknown in the city, Yang coasts along with the crowd going about their daily business. He attends classes on time, has average grades academically and ability-wise, and takes part-time jobs like every other student in the city. Even his classmates Saten and Uiharu stand out more than he did. Nii was just another face in the bustle... which served his purpose completely.
Nii was in Academy City first and foremost as a deep-seated agent of Gabrieles. He was chosen for the job for his outstanding combat abilities, resourcefulness and most of all, for being an ESPer. He would be called upon by the Church to run escorts, retrievals and espionage, would complete it cleanly and efficiently, and receive his renumeration. Strictly business only; there was no time, or risk, for any distractions.
Except maybe one. He is looking for clues as to the whereabouts of his mother, a powerful ESPer supposed killed in a fire 3 years ago. However, it appears that she may be still alive, and that the trail leads to Academy City. Having left his sisters back in Germany, the boy will stop at nothing to see that his mother is safe, and that vengeance is meted out.
About JD109
"John Doe the 109th" is the serial number that Nii's alter ego is tagged with by the whole of Academy City security. Without a name, a mug shot, fingerprint, or evidence, JD109 has evaded capture time and again, frustrating Anti-Skill to no end while murders and thefts attributed to him continue to mount. There is no discernible pattern to his victims ranging from ESPers to stowaways to embedded CIA operatives. They are unable to interpret his ESP; all his victims and possible witnesses have died of acute cardiac arrest, and Anti-Skill had been looking for an Electromaster -- even suspecting Misaka at one point --, rather than Quark Shift. There's even rumors that JD109 is actually a Dual Skill, further inflating the mystery around the errant ESPer.
But his actions have not gone unnoticed. Section 9 is on his case, and a clash between JD109 and Ebrah is all but certain.
About the boy
Nii is stoic and steadfast, as much as the old knights may come. However, there is still a lost boy within that armor. Saten and Nii gravitate towards on another, if only because each resembled the family the other left behind when they entered Academy City. His actions as JD109 may be calculated and callous, but Shan always calls him a softie for his emotional inconsistencies. He once saved Yagami Kagura from a rowdy gang. He treats Suu not as a Homunculus (refer to Suu's profile) but a normal human being, a far cry from other Gabrielite knights. And time and again, he got himself involved with Judgement through Saten and Uiharu, a habit that frustrates Shan and Hachi to no end.
Still, this incomprehensible combination of all 3 aspects may well be what keeps Nii going in a city that wants him dead.
Are the Dreams of the Black ESPer Really Darker than Black?
With the city in chaos from the Vatican-sponsored invasion, Nii and several radical elements of another magical order attacked Aleister’s fortress from multiple fronts. Most of it were decoys for himself to gain entry. Comrade after comrade sacrificed in order for him to plunge deeper into the catacombs, until he last stood alone against the Great Magician. Revealed to the truth of the city, and made a deal he could not refuse, Nii instead fought for altruism and sacrificed his chance to meet his mother in person. But even after breaking Aleister’s blockade, Nii would have to make the last sacrifice so that the magical world could be given the chance to die another day.
With Suu by his side and his mother’s advice in his hands, the lab they were in was leveled by concentrated bombardment of MOABs and bunker-busters. There was no possibility that anyone could survive that much fire, and JD109 was struck off the wanted list at long last.
But knowing the Black ESPer, Nanami is certain that he survived, and he’ll be back, someday...
Combat Data
His Skill, though useful, is not at a game-breaking level. And yet he may have to survive engaging high level threats, from dark mages from devil cults to the best that the city has to offer. And he does. The secret lies in that Nii relies not on his Skill but on his opponent and his environment above all else in combat. Nii is a patient hunter, often taking a job or role within the area of operation well ahead of the commencement in order to scout out exploitable terrain effects. Being able to hide in half a shadow helps him take advantage of cover and close/depart without detection. He uses anything around him as a weapon, from shattered glass to rusting walkways. Suu guides him remotely as the battlefields change. He always takes precautions and ensures that he has redundancies to fall back on. Nii makes his opponent fight on his terms, when he has to. If he can complete a job without drawing a punch, he would. If he cannot face up to a challenge, he would flee. And very often he does.
It is this early maturity in thought and tactical mindedness in Nii, and observing many other young ESPers, that causes Shan to often wonder if ESPers are really still human.
Quark Shift -- The Subatomic Alchemist
This ability involves at the most basic level is the manipulation of molecular and submolecular structures that the ESPer is in contact with while completely ignoring energy barriers to doing so. By combining and dividing charges, he can change an atom's proton number and so transmute material from one element to another, though far slower than an actual Transmuter. In other words, he can transmute coal to diamond far easier than the classical example of lead to gold.
At Level 3, his finest control is at the molecular level, with some coarse control at subatomic levels. He can re-mould objects easily and one of his nifty tricks is to make black diamond tools out of the carbon in dust. The amount he can transmute/restructure at once and how fast he can do so is also limited.
He can also use this ability to deliver a deadly shock by ripping charges from the air around him and channeling them into his target that he is in contact, both direct (grabbed) and indirect (via his winch). However, this is his ace in the hole, along with some other tricks that Nii does his best to conceal as much of his ESP from the school during testing.
However, even though he is a natural ESPer or Gemstone, his Skill is comparatively lackluster when set against the exotic powers which are associated with Gemstones, like Imagine Breaker and Deep Blood. It calls into question the exact nature of his skill, as Nii is one to keep many secrets beneath his falsified persona, even from the organization he works for.
~~~New Intelligence Data Updated~~~

Voice File: "All that we know of him is wrong! This is unbelievable! We have to verify this piece of evidence, but it appears the Black ESPer's true power is--"

[Error Unknown: Entry Truncated]

---------------

This boy is the prototype character of Tainaka Tarou, the character changes evident of when I moved on from grimdark stories to sillier but fun ones.

It's less about how they do things but more the ancestry and grandeur you paint them in. It's world breaking a way that you involve names of real people and have them suddenly put into a place where from cult they should now be the 2nd or 3rd largest religion in the world. Not sure about GREMLIN but if they are well known, discredited or not, people would still know about them. I'm pretty sure they're like illuminati. They make things happen but no one notices.

So from darker than black to the black skull joker.

EDIT: Basically they're too powerful as an organization.

@meister: Also I find the logic of your piece as to why "AC has all the ESPer tech monopolized is false" as being flawed as well.

The reason being that ESPer development doesn't happen like granting someone treatment then suddenly they become superhuman. No, that takes years upon years of research as well as thousands upon thousands of test subjects. Child Errors that were never mentioned or listed as existing become the perfect test subjects as no one would give them a second glance be they living or just remains of a corpse. No other nation would be capable of following the same protocol of creation of ESPers because the project requires 2 things

1. Brilliant scientific minds that can understand sciences and pseudo-sciences to a degree that is no less than groundbreaking.

2. A large amount of human guinea pigs as well as the lack of conscience to do with them as you please. Be it resulting in them dying, mutating or whatever.

Practically no country in the world right now would condone such things. Unless your TKs then had no problem about replicating experiments that led to many losing activity of their nervous systems, their bodies' blood vessels bursting, being reduced to the mental equivalent of a vegetable or some other mishap.

That's because you're thinking in terms of our world. Way back when Toaru fandom had a different population of authors, we all thought that the whole world was a crapsack world where everyone was committing atrocities just with varying success while disguised by the wide media to make things resemble our own world.

I no longer believe that world to be a true representation of Toaru, but I do know that the unthinkable can happen when the different factions pull strings. Knowing Aleister, I'd say guards his esper recipe closely, and when others come close, he destroys them. With Three Diagram and Aiwass, his ability to anticipate anyone coming close is virtually 99%, and I portray him to have so many Gambit Pileups and Aces in the Hole that it pretty much precludes anyone else ever having a proper program.

But that's just so far beyond my scope now. I'm just going to focus on a boy orphan growing up in a weird city and how the world around him changes. I'll leave the other details to good ol' Kamachi. The guy thinks like I do, so I shall leave the world-building in his better hands.

Now, even if that old setting was abandoned, there were several characters I really liked. There is one who will return almost virtually unchanged in ESP Detective Steel:

A Certain Misaka

Name: MISAKA 9012
Alias: N/A
Age: 13
Birthday: ??-??
Grade: Level 3
Hair: As Misaka Mikoto.
Eyes: As Misaka Mikoto
Usual wear: As Misaka Mikoto
Magic Type: ESP
Ability: Radio Noise
Proficiencies: FN2000 proficiency, PSG-100 proficiency, M500 proficiency. Faithful.
Other equipment: Electrospectrometer

Affiliation: Academy City

VA: Sasaki Nozomi

Nii first encounters this Misaka Imouto when he is tasked to observe two people: An ESPer known as Accelerator and a Tokiwadai student by the name of Misaka Mikoto. It seemed simple, but there were many strange caveats: One; for some reason, the Gabrieles recon ghosts have been turning up redundant reports of Misaka being in several places at once, making any remote monitoring difficult. Two; Nii is to strictly observe both persons with Suu’s recon ghost, which was provided with a hi-fidelity detection suite for this mission, and not intervene. He would soon learn why.

Guided by Suu, Nii entered the privileged area of Academy City as disguised as a typically spoilt Tokiwadaian Ojousama – his impression of one, even changing his voice, was so spot-on that Shan found himself banging his head to remind himself that it was just Nii. He found the original Misaka first, but Suu redirected him towards an echo in the electron flows in the air. He finds another Misaka, entering a Worship session. He realizes that she is a clone of the original Railgun, explaining the simultaneous Misaka sightings.

Posing as a Worship convert, he interacts with Misaka. As expected, she was unresponsive, expressionless and dull-eyed. What got his curiosity was what a scientific Homunculus was doing in a Church. Nii learned that Misaka II had been here a week before when some students mistook her for the original Misaka and did their utmost to convert her, even practically dragging her to a seminar. Nii finds the imouto a staunch atheist, fervently dismissing the concept of Heaven and God as illogical constructs for the weak even as Nii, posing as a devout follower even though he is rather cynical himself, tries to convince her otherwise. Her relative ferocity surprised him. And when he asked why was she here again, Misaka simply stated that she had been dragged been there again.

This meeting would be their last, as 9012 was scheduled to fight Accelerator that day. Finally understanding what the game was about, Nii, still in disguise, chose to intervene despite his orders. There was little he could do against Accelerator, and so Nii attempted to draw Accelerator away from 9012, but she continues to attack the other ESPer over and over. Nii and her argued about how Misaka is throwing away her life too easily. Nii eventually tires and is almost killed by debris, but 9012 saves him at the expense of herself. Unable to save 9012, Nii decided to attack one last time while he has the advantage of cover, but she stopped him and made him face up to the reality. At his current level, Quark Shift was no match for Accelerator. She accepted that this dying was both her and her Sisters' fates, as she revealed the reason behind the attacks.

Nii asks if she was scared, and again, she simply retorts with her last breath why should she be. And as the cynical ESPer closed the girl's eyes, he prayed.

Accelerator crawls through the wreck to find his prey, only to find both ESPers gone. Nii received a reprimand for intervening and when he asked if the Gabrieles would act, he got no certain reply but a sharper rebuke to mind his place.

Seeing this, Shan chided him for going so far for an overly-rational monster. Nii insists that she is human, just a lucky one who had no contradictions with herself; the ones who created her, they were the true monsters.

9012 will appear some time this season, but this time, what will Tarou do? :3

I know there would be people to go that far. But the body count to create even a proto-ESPer will be massive. You'd sooner run out of homeless people or have some sniffing about before something actually takes place. Opening the issue publicly would have Aleister's attention more than if he was just surveying you. In short it's just not worth it. Unless you plan to bombard AC with nukes in retaliation and even then Aleister would prolly keep the place safe somehow and launch a counter.

That's pretty depressing for a character. Birth and then death. So the TK was supposed to be the big ambiguous evil eh? explains why they're so big.

I've also realized you have an obssession with concerts. Not a bad thing, just an observation.

Currently the story that's stewing in my head is about Hime, an OC I have with the ability to "see the world" with her Eyes of Alice.

Much like the ImagineBreaker, her eyes go beyond the categorization of magic or ESP. it's something as old as the beginning of everything. A primordial trait that was said to be inherent of beings that exist as the first of creation of life came to be.

She's terrified of her abilities because she can see things no one else can. Her hair is platinum blonde which she dyes and her eyes are like that of a rainbow which is why she wears contacts to hide them as well as obstructing her view. Seeing ghosts, visions of past, distant present, thoughts, feelings, beings that shouldn't, inevitable destinies. Everything is at her disposal. She still wants to be normal which is why she gets into trouble when people pick on her.

On Saten becoming a DeSu... I don't even know what demons she should get O.o

There are times when the right thing to do isn't the thing that feels right. The one scolding Nii was brimming with rage at the confirmation of the experiment, but he stayed his hand because there was no way any of his troops could stop it.

That's why he told off Nii to "know his place." The ultimate aim of the Templars was to survive and protect the Ark, and angering a giant like Accelerator could put that mission at risk.

To that, Ark placated the Brother Captain with faith, that God will find a way...

...and we know he did, didn't he?

Weak ones? Windy ones?

This post features the spiritual center of the Knights Templar. Maybe I shall unseal her profile too:

The Ark

Name: Arca Sanguineum Regalium
Alias: Ark
Age: 14
Birthday: 25-12
Grade: Undefined
Hair: Blond, stranded and long
Eyes: Left eye red, right eye green
Usual wear: Teresa-pattern Walking Church
Magic Type: Magic -- Cortical
Ability: Reinforcement, recall and re-creation
Proficiencies: Listener, Knowledgeable
Other equipment: Emergency Transponder, iPod, iPad, Walking Church Maintenance Kit

CV: Kaori Mizuhashi (Vivio in SSX)

Ark is not supposed to exist; after all, she claims to be a descendant of the union of Mary Magdalene and Jesus Christ. Her family history thus reads like a conspiracy novel, and yet, it tells of the tumultuous history of the Gabrieles:

Unlike the canon postulates, Mary Magdalene was of royal descent (through the Jewish House of Benjamin) and was the wife of Jesus, of the House of David. That she was a prostitute was slander invented by the Church to obscure their true relationship. At the time of the Crucifixion, she was pregnant. After the Crucifixion, she fled to Gaul, where she was sheltered by the Jews of Marseille. She gave birth to a daughter, named Sarah. The bloodline would eventually become the Merovingian dynasty of France. The existence of the bloodline was the secret that was contained in the documents discovered by the Crusaders after they conquered Jerusalem in 1099. Hence the Knights Templar and the Priory of Sion were organized to be its military and financial arms that protected this secret.

Then came the great Purge which scattered knights and King across the land (See history of Gabrieles). Ark's blood continued to survive through the eras no thanks to a small branch of Templar, and it was only until the 1700s when her family reunited with the reborn Knights Templar. The Ark of Royal Blood then persisted through the generations to the present.

Anyways, the Vatican is in the dark at the moment, and the Gabrieles intends to keep it that way.

So, present day:

"Arca-daca" made friends with "Gekotran" initially over the web, but they first crossed paths in person during the Level Upper incident. They would do so again and again, as the crew of the Enterprise venture further from Academy City, as the world around them lurches closer to apocalypse. In all cases, Arca appears young, 14 in fact, but she exhibits maturity beyond her age. Gentle and kind, she possesses great insight, and is always ready to give a listening ear, or advice that would save the day. She often wanders around alone, but is always protected by a team of elite Knights Templar rostered to teleport down and support upon any sign of trouble.

Combat Data

Ark's main function has always been as the spiritual symbol of the Templar faith. As such, she has very little in terms of direct combat. At most, she wields a mysterious sword and scabbard that shields her from supernatural harm. (She warned Kataru that revealing the identity of the blade would spell doom for anyone who learns of it.) Ark's magic is limited to those centered around her blade and her bloodline, but she is rather knowledgeable about witching in general because she spends much of her time studying. Her strength lies in her intellectual brilliance; Arca is a such shrewd and sharp tactician that even Jeremand, Grand Master of the Knights Templar, listens to and considers her input.

Her holy blood allows her to operate divine artefacts at peak performance. For example, Ark’s maximization and customization of the Walking Church has created what she calls the 360 Secrets of the Church, 360 additional functions built into the robes that range from the frivolous to the impressive. For example, Ark could maximize the protective effects of the Walking Church, allowing it to become a kind of environment suit capable of warding off radiation while exploring Chernobyl's destroyed reactor.

She is part of a trinity comprising of the 3 Arks: The Ark of Royal Blood, The Ark of the Covenant, and the original Noah's Ark. The battleship assembled from all 3 Arks, the Arca Regali or Royal Ark, is the ultimate symbol of power of the Gabrieles, and so they endeavor to make sure it remains protected.

Trivia

Ark is a descendent of Merovingian royalty, but Joan-Hilde can trace her bloodline back to the last Queen of France, never mind that history books tell us that that too is impossible. 2 Princesses of France? Not to mention, Ark appears to be fond of Acqua of the Back...

----------

If after reading this, you yell SWEET JESUS!!, you are probably right.

My Science vs Magic story back then involved the MC Nii, the Ark on one side, and the Flamethrower on the other.

Not really. More like "Huh. Impressive."

I'm not sure how to comment other than it feels analogous to the four holy seats.

So NR on Hime huh...

So... maybe the basic pixie and poltergiest to start? I'm wondering if throwing her a bone and giving her mid-high level demon-dieties would be good or not

on my end of OCs:

Science:
good - Hime
bad - Tag Trace, Shinkaku

magic:
good - Taki
bad - Lise, Doti

A couple of questions:
First, does the Maiden of Versailles have a name?
And: Does America actually pose a danger in the Toaru-verse? They don't have a magical organization and they don't have ESPers. So why are they a super-power still?
I'm planning on having one portion in America but I need to know what kind of things there are that can actually pose a threat to anyone.

Maiden of Versailies is what everyone calls her.

Because America is the World Police!

Im serious you should make a drinking game how many times that phrase had been repeated.

We'll put it this way, even Gremlin required the numbers and aid from conventional soldiers just to invade Hawaii.

America is the number two on the science side in terms of technology, but only in terms of that.

There should be a wiki page on it somewhere that explains in detail how America in this world works.

there is but it is a little scarce.

It shouldn't be scarce- a large part of NT3 was all American exposition...

And youre wrong about one thing- America does have Aztec/Mayan magicians.

Yeah... but in my fic I'm pretty much developing those as people more associated with the cartels than the governments. ROTWO seemed a bit like that to me in a few of their methods and ideologies.

I see what the problem is; the reason why it looked scarce is because they split the info to multiple page not just under USA.

Under the science faction there is the USA, within it other than the country itself there are multiple other links to characters and locations and various code names for stuff.

There is something like that in the Knights Templar: The APOSTLE. The 12 APOSTLEs are the strongest 12 combatants in Gabrieles and being magic-side I made sure every single one of them destroyed some kind of limit while having some kind of in-combat limitation. Like the muggle mercenary who slayed a few 1980s-era Level 5s. Or the Grand Master who is over a hundred years old, but still is a muscle-bound protector of a sacred loli. Or freaking Jesus herself.

And unlike the Right Hand, APOSTLE is more of a group of wisemen in the service of Jesus.

Actually, the yoke's on the Princess of England. Just wanted France and the English to fight over one more thing, and Acqua really deserves a harem. Especially after getting Touma-punched.

That phrase infected every bloody anime as well, even the sparkle-pire freak of an overhyped mecha series. I'm GLAD though, that Kamachi decided that Mr President in Toaru ISN'T OBAMA for once.

Here's another unsealed APOSTLE member:

The Queen of Blades

Name: Elizabeth Josephine Carter
Alias: Purgatus555, Ezilla, Liz, Iron Maiden of Gabrieles
Age: 19
Birthday: 25-12
Grade: Magic Rank S+
Hair: Blood-red and long. She usually keeps it free save a hairband over the top, but some of her armors alter it.
Eyes: Blue
Usual wear: Biege vest over white shirt with matching checkered-red skirt. Black long socks.
Magic Type: Magic - Cortical
Ability: Summoner
Proficiencies: All Weapon Mastery, All Armor Mastery, Levitation, Faithful
Other equipment: Samsung Crystal handphone that has been retrofitted with magic sigil memory, allowing her to call her armors and weapons from within the Gate of Babylon quickly.

Affiliation: Comillitones Photos Templique Gabrieles -- APOSTLE

VA: Sayaka Ohara

Elizabeth is the most-feared woman in the entire Gabrieles. She holds the 3rd Rank in APOSTLE, making her the strongest female mage within the militant church, losing out only to the Grand Marshal of the Knight Templars, and a decorated pilgrim. She is brutal and fierce, and emits an intensity few can match. She is a very strong individual and can lift things weighing several tons with great ease. She is known and feared to be an unstoppable opponent; Elizabeth in armor shrugs off all forms of attacks easily while she pursues her prey at full power with complete disregard of collateral. Some inquisitions she led have ended with the culprits surrendering to the Church directly in order to escape from her holy wrath!

This dread surrounding Ezilla, as she is thus called by comrades combining her name with Godzilla, is very much manifest within Gabrieles as well. Not even lesser Sword Brethren dare challenge her authority, and the mere mention of her name can break up the most fervent ruckus often kicked up by the vibrant and notoriously reckless pilgrims. This is due to Liz being very stern and placing great value on the rules of knighthood and discipline. If someone steps out of line or is slow to do as she commands, she does not hesitate to punish them, so many are quick to apologize if they think that they have angered her.

Liz's dedication extends to all aspects of her life. To her, idling and petty hobbies are a waste of time. She dresses plainly and functionally, and as long as she is within church walls is always in her basic armor. A quiet day is one spent in the chapel thumbing through the various books of bible, reading a newspaper (country of origin varies) or listening to the Worship band practice. Some times she observes other knights training, and those rookies quickly learn that while she has much to teach, you'd have to really be on the top of your game to keep up!

She is so devoted to the cause that despite she being practically the best there is, she views herself existing only to bear a Templar heir for the Carters. This is because of the Carter's having long been a Templar family but only men are allowed to join the Order as with tradition. Liz, being the only child to her aging parents, feels that her gender is a burden to the family, and hence she is openly looking for a husband. It shouldn't have been hard; Liz is a rare beauty, combining intelligence, devotion, and above average looks, and she doesn't even use make-up! The only problem is that the men of Gabrieles are either too afraid of her or simply cannot stand her for long. Other times, she breaks off the relationship because she judges her current date unworthy of the Carter name.

However, Liz is not without compassion. Few people know that it was Liz who led the crusade which ended up rescuing Suu rather than putting her down. The mage made the exception because the girl was still in command of her faculties, unlike other Homunculi which were usually turned berserk in order to slow the inquisitors down. Every other knight would’ve beheaded Suu immediately for the monstrosity she represents. This is why Suu appears closer to Liz than other Gabrielum, and was why Liz was called to Academy City when Nii was becoming more and more cornered by Section 9, even though Liz does not quite trust ESPers at the time. She is also shown to be softer and grateful during the rare times when fellow Gabrieles treat her kindly.

Nii eventually wins her trust and admiration by the time she leaves Academy City for home. She earlier reveals that she always preferred to be called Liz, but no one has used that name ever since her father passed away a year earlier. Nii then bids her farewell with "Liz".

Combat Data

Carter is an excellent swordswoman, armed with arguably the best weapons ever known to Man. She stores her massive armory in a magically-created hammerspace that she calls the Gate of Babylon. The Gate itself is a spell passed down from Carter to Carter, and over the years has been used to accumulate a vast array of magical gear. It was only recently that Liz installed a system that manages it by encoding each item’s summoning sigil with a serial number.

In battle, she dials 555 into her cellphone, and undergoes a brief transformation (with a hip jingle and neon lights) to be equipped in her Templer basic armor. By dialing different numbers, the phone recalls the associated magic sigil and projects it, allowing her to rapidly re-equip herself as the tides of battle change.

Different armors and weapons are adapted for different environments and purposes. Many of them have wings allowing her to fly for short distances. One renders her resistant to fire. Another transforms her into a iron mermaid. It's rumored that she even has a suit for vacuums and high pressure environments. Liz swaps her weapons around to best suit the fight at hand, ensuring that she has untold permutations and adaptations. If she couldn't outfight something, she keeps changing until something works.

For this, Liz is infamous outside the church as The Iron Maiden of Gabrieles. It is an honor she shares with her personal guard, a 7-maid group named Jungfrau that represents the 7 Virtues.

-------

I don't have plans to use this character in Tarou's story, but she's one of those better-crafted creations of mine.

Hmmm so combine Erza, Gilgamesh and the faiz system. A wry smile is all I can make at this.

Hime is an OC I made actually. I tried imagining her looking at the ark. Mostly because Hime can see what the Ark really looks like because of her eyes.

As of now if Saten gets higher level demons, she'd get... Quetzalcoatl, Gogmagog, and or Culebre. All of which are pretty OP now that I think about it. Maybe a Genma race could work too.

I really like how you actually chose a voice actor for a character in a fanfic. It seems a bit silly at first but, assuming you're aware of the seiyuu's work, it can really improve visualization of the character's voice.

...No that's pretty much how we used to do it

It was standard back in the days to include seiyuu in your character.

MeisterBabylon was even more hardcore than me when it comes to OC-ing...
