Was a full-length version of "Free Bird" ever released as an OP Single CD? I don't seem to have a version of the song longer than 2:31.

There's three versions:

Bird of Freedom is on the Out of Tracks cd (track 1). It's 1:31 long and instrumental.

Free Bird (Mahiru no Tsuki e to) is on the image album Sei naru Shoukei (track 10). It's 4:31 and a mix of vocals/instruments.

Free Bird is on the Hanenone cd (track 2). It's the full version of the OP from the series, instrumental, and 2:31 long.

Hmm didn't know there was more than one Free Bird. I'll look them up, thanks! xD

Eep. Haven't checked on this thread in a while.

Yeah, I figured out that there isn't a longer version. I have all the OSTs and found the lyrical version. It's... not the same. I still vastly prefer the instrumental version.

There's also a cd single for Blue Flow. Covers five versions of that song. Track 3 in particular is hauntingly beautiful.

Yeah the lyrical cd is an acquired taste. I didn't like it when I first listened to it, but after a while it started to grow on me. I still prefer the full instrumental version of Free Bird to the other versions though.
