i know someone said samurai champloo already, but i would also recomend it, my favorite anime of all time.

Watch samurai X:trust and betrayal,although it takes place before rurouni kenshin and made in 1999,the animation is good and tells the dark and tragic past of Kenshin.

On a side note,it was quite bloody and violent.

samurai x is actualy called rurouni kenshin reminiscence. which is in the list under completed.

however i think you should watch the rurouni kenshin series too. ...ah nm i see it in plan to watch....hmm seems your plan to watch has grown from this topic ^_^

Rorouni kenshin is the best..watch all the episodes and the 6ovas
next to rorouni kenshin is ONE PIECE!!
2nd is bleach [extremely good, not fillers like naruto,the episodes move the story and are good,bleach is not about aizen u know]
3rd naruto [not really sword fighting but juz watch anyways
4th Samurai champloo [funny as well as DAMN GOOD]
5th basilisk [dark anime just as u like it] ..like ninja scroll


i juz saw ur anime list, how the **** u rate one piece as 7 is beyond me....one piece deserves a 9 AT LEAST....one piece has a huge amount of followers 2...

lol cowboy beebop a 10, i watched the first 2 episodes of that and i stopped downloading...full metal is all good...u rated champloo and samurai x well...lol u didnt give gantz a score..i would give it an 8

I really really loved trust and betrayal, when I saw that anime I was just in that dark mood so everything just seemed so great. But it was also very sad, im not sure but I think I got some dust in my eyes at the end.
