Not much fan of Lovecraft, just a meh from me. Nyaruko is cute, but if that's all there is, I dunno if it's gonna be enough to hold my interest till the end. Will wait for more of the cast to show up.

Aww, man. I was hoping I wouldn't enjoy this episode. But now that I do, that's another anime to add to my never-ending list. That backlog is getting bigger and bigger.

Ok ... very like the short flash series before, ep 1 was absolutely ridiculous, weird and idiotic - and to be honest, I enjoyed it.

About 90 seconds after Nyaruko popped up on screen I began scratching my head and wondering "where have I heard this VA use this 'style' of acting before?" ... and then I suddenly remembered Ran from Shugo Chara and began to laugh so hard it began to hurt....

I believe I have found my "guilty pleasure" series for the season.

PURE HATE!!! towards mahiro!! how can he be so mean to nyaruko!!??, anyways im very pleased with this series, and i love nyaruko, its like if kuroko and konata did a fusion, and if the rest of the episodes are as half as fun of this one this is gonna be great.

Loved it, favourite anime this season so far.
It somehow reminds me a little of Excel Saga, which is a good thing as far as Im concerned.

I've just been doing some minor research about the various Cthulhu mythos name-drops Nyaruko's been doing, and ran across a tidbit concerning Shanta-kun and his quick loss against the nightgaunt.

Glad to see the fork abuse is still there, albeit offscreen now. The energy and silliness is still the same, which is good, good, very good! Gonna stick with this for sure.

This was pretty much as expected after watching both seasons of the 2 minute shorts. So it was hilarious and I will continue to watch with enjoyment.

Nah, you do not mate with an eldritch abomination. I'm pretty sure it's never turned out well. Besides, Mahiro's probably going to have a hard enough time keeping Kuuko from lighting him on fire next episode. If the flamey one thinks Mahiro's been involved with her girl, things might get ugly.

Ho~ So the short episodes are also as enjoyable and hilarious? Perhaps now is the best time to check them out as well. It may quell my cravings for more.

This was extremely wacky and Nyarlko pretty much can carry the whole thing by herself, but for variety and extra hijinks more characters will the introduced later. Mahiro is ok but the crawling chaos is the main dish here.

Not a big fan of the OP but the ED is really good. All I can add is that after the two flash short series this was worth the wait.

The episode felt like the flash shorts extended over a longer period with a little more story-focus. It was pretty enjoyable, but time felt like it was moving so slow while watching this... Maybe it will feel faster as the characters start appearing and the entire episode wasn't about Asumi talking 24-7 at a very high tension. Also, compared to the flash, the protagonist seems like a whole lot more... normal. The bento that man was not ment to know took me for a bit of a shock for Spoiler for horrors of lunchcraft: a) looking normal and well made IE not being a Lovecaftion horror (sort of) and b) being not just edible but good. then it turns out it is(made from) a lovecraftion horror __________________ Higurashi: Its a bit like watching a trainwreck, except you keep getting to see different trains wrecking with roughly the same passengers, into a variety of different objects. Also, the trains are driven by monkeys. On LSD.
