Bleach 170 Episode Discussion Thread

Good morning ladies and gents. Totally forgot about the thread today as I had to rush out from home eeeaarly in the morning. Sorry about that. Anyway, I'll try to create thread few more hours earlier than usual. Haven't had the chance to see what the episode title reads for this week as I'm sneaking in a bit of personal internet time.

OMG that episode was sooo boring. 1 minor 30 sec fight. These fillers need to end quick, or at least put more action and less dialogue.

Yup I did but it was a boring episode trust me.

Spoiler for summary for episode:

A ninja tries to assassinate that princess girl but Ichigo and Rukia stop him. He has this zanpaktou that blinds you with light then he attacks, he did it against Ichigo and almost cut off his head but he dodged at last second. Ichigo beat him by using Zangetsu to reflect the blinding light back to him. But, since Ichigo is a good guy he didn't take the opportunity to kill him he basically let him go. He did fire off that spirit attack he does with his zanpaktou,Getsuga Tenshou, the white one though. That was the 30 sec fight other than that boring episode. You also get an explanation as to why the princess girl left SS, this old guy with a glass eye from her family/clan is trying to over throw her from the head of family/throne. He's the one who sent the ninja, the same ninja Ichigo is fighting in the end of the OP.

Haven't seen this one yet but Ichigo going bankai against 10 normal hollows is almost as weak as him fighting the bounto arc all over again, which makes him look so weak : /

ummmm is any1 besides me confused on HOW DA HECK DEY GOT BACK?!

lol seriously wen is da timeline for dis arc cuz at first i thought it was b4 ori got kidnapped but den ishida comes out wit his new bow...if chad uses his new arms den im gonna lose it

The ninja Zanpaktou ability sounds like a ripoff of Ichinose in the previous bount fillers, couldn't they think of a brand new ability?

If it really is an Alternative universe, which means characters can actually die without affecting the main timeline.

...since when is Bleach characters NOT a ripoff of each other? Tosen->Ichinose, Byakuya->Ulquiorra, Captain Grabass->Stark, Ririn->Rurichiyo, etc etc etc

Heck, Ichinose was even chatting with Tosen about it during Zaraki's Capt test thing.

Alternate universe is one theory. I'm leaning more towards this just a Bleach movie. Just like the other Bleach movies had no effect on the real storyline. So to me this is just one long ass Bleach movie.
