Splitting threads should already be something to dilute confusion.

Posting requests in proper forums could be another (ie. Bleach requests in Bleach forum, Naruto requests in Naruto Forum, Death Note Request in Death Note forum, and so on).

As for the suggested system, I'll leave to you guys to find a way to sort out the work if there is. That way though, has not to necessitate the creation of new threads aside the two new ones. Also that system would be handy (imho) just for the signature thread since making a sign takes longer than making an avatar.

The "combo" requests (you know, providing a pic and asking a sign with a cropped avatar) shall belong to the signature thread. I'd prefer this rather than two separate requests on two separate threads. I'll try to make it clear into the rules.

Speaking of which, and I'd like once again to hear the regulars: do you think that there are rules (into the guidelines) that shall be added? Or some that should be modified (as in made clearer) ?

I'm listening to opinions & suggestions on any of the points above. Thanks

Well from our earlier discussion, if anything, can you or another mod be able to modify a completed post with the line:

"[REQUEST COMPLETED]"

so we can see what has been done and what other members need to have their request fulfilled? I go through the pages and try to back track to see who has not had their request fulfilled and a modified post with this line would help out so I or another member on here can skim through posts.

Maybe implement a calling system. i know people love doing requests, but you'd hate to use your time making a sig for someone and find out that someone beat you to the punch. We here can all negotiate for the right to make sigs for people.

Sorry but I'm afraid that is not feasible.
Other than that I don't see it as strictly necessary, the problem I was thinking to, is not to have more people to work on the same request at the same time.

Yes, I agree on that feeling. Well, to implement a calling system, why not just reply with "I'm taking this request" so that the others will skip it?
I remember that we used to do so when the Suzumiya Haruhi request thread was flooded (good old days), and we never got a duplicate

If you have an open request for an avatar or for a signature, please make note of it so you can re-post it in the proper new thread once it has been created. If you have any new requests, please hold off for a few hours.
