Wow, this Yuuki's face design is literally a baby face, it suits him since he sort of acts like a baby in this episode.

Did the girl got her expensive sword back at the end?

It is just me but, i laughed hard at the part where the elf girl cooked a rice inside a bamboo stick.
The food itself and way they cook, i thought it might have been something else.

Watched episode 1:

Ok, that was better than I expected. Kokkoro is funny, and those wolves remind of the hyenas from Lion King.

mentally challenged male lead, so I guess this would be a bit entertaining.

Pekorin so strong she destroy the sword she used. I wonder what episode she would recover her real sword?

And lastly, I'm glad this anime did not quickly devolve into another OP, self-insert male MC running the show. He at least starts off weak and has to work his way from there.

6/10

People seriously liked this first episdoe? Didn't see that comming. No interesting characters, no tension and except wild dogs all jokes were miss to boot. Well maybe I just am out of touch.

It's because the MC is not actually Yuuki.

Slice of life direction makes it more enjoyable then your average fantasy adventure path.

And yes Konosuba vibes. It's a good way to approach the gacha theme. Waifu is better when it's enjoyed as a main dish. Yuuki literally has like 5 lines, haha.

Derpy wolves dragging away the dude multiple times made this series a hell of a lot funnier than I thought it would be.

Is just me or do the wolves look like they're on crack?

Besides the MC being super quiet, this gives me the Konosuba vibe. Anyone else feeling that?

This show is kind of cutely enjoyable. Yuuki is an oddball, but he's quite likable in his own way. Kokkoro is a treasure. No doubt they will keep abusing the heck out of that expression she has when things shock her. Plus her pure support is nice to watch.

Just a fun and silly show.

So this is basically just Konosuba with an even more useless yet less (or not at all) pervy Kazama that happens to have brain damage, while all the girls are just Megumin explosion levels of broken (also spectacle, especially "Pecorine") because they happen to be princess knights or something, but it lacks any of the fun that Konosuba has or maybe it just tries too hard to be like that series... At this point the only good thing that I can say is that someone clearly threw money at this series, outside of that it feels very generic especially considering it's only appeal seems to be the budget and the cute obviously advertisable girls.

I'll give it until the third episode to see if it changes my mind.

Oh wow, Kokkoro is sort of treating Yuuki like a baby.

Those two thieves, "Karasu Ruve"?
I have a feeling that this isn't the last time we see them.

Really, eating the rice using bamboo as dishes in this series is so weird to me, in this kind series though?
Way too out of place somehow.

This series is really relaxing, perfectly not too confusing.
I still have many things to say about every little scene in this episode, but I'll stop here for now.
Just few more things though, towards that big dragon what kind of plan is that Yuuki, and seriously Kokkoro what the hell are you doing?

Pecorine: the orange-haired, uber-powerful, not-terribly-bright sword girl.

Anyone else think this is what one of Lina and Gourry's (Slayers) kids might be like?

yeah, the lady selling soap was an obvious reference.

and Charlie. So Kazuma reincarnated into this world as a thief.

A few more thoughts on episode 2.

Karyl going tsundere reminds me Arisa from Bang Dream.

What did they do with the treasure from the dragon?

Starting a cooking guild would not be a bad idea. Or maybe Pekeorine would just eat all the food?

Kokkoro still best girl.
