no not Remus i forgot his name. He is the crown prince of the country that betrayed Mongol at the end and they took Amnelis and her servant Prisoner.

He is talking about the guy that had Amnelis kneeling at him, they used to be allies to the mongols but they betrayed them. Naris turned Amnelis to them, I think they plan to marry Amnelis to the old man son, so they can have a claim to the mongol crown.

Exactly, its the same thing Mongol tried to do to Parros. If you have a member of the royal family marry the son or daughter of your enemy country you have the throne legitimately and it makes keeping the civilians in check easier. Amnelis is last survivor member of the Mongol royal family if old guys son marries her he is king of Mongol which he could easily turn into a extension of his home country. Also, Vlad said woman can succeed the throne Mongol Amnelis's duty is to produce an heir to the throne of pure Mongol royal blood, unfortunately shes having a little trouble in the male department.

Its a smart move but i would feel sorry for him Amnelis would be more likely to kill him in his sleep than suffer the indignity of being taken in the marriage bed. This is why i hope they keep her around atm i find whats happening to her more entertaining than the other characters.

Well, I read it from jpn wikipedia, they have a lots of spoilerin guin saga....

Wow, WOW! WOW! WOW! WTF! Those spoilers are awesome but pretty tragic and I'm shocked.

I fucking hated Rinda and I hate her more now.

Rinda's husband is probably Aldo Naris...

Since the novels ended at vol. 129, probably Remus escaped from prison and slaughtered Rinda and her whole family along with her relatives, friends and friends of friends.

Well, during the civil war between AldoNaris's Parroh and Remus's Parroh, Istovan and his troop come to help (he is King of Mongoul now), but sadly he was possessed to and attack ALdoNaris who is already injured, and by the time he come to his sense, AldoNaris was dying beside Rinda, but not before he gave the throne to Rinda

Guin was kinda late to help, so by then AldoNaris is already dead. In Novel, things doesn't center around him only, and I have a lack of interest in Guin, so I only know that he had amnesia in a bad timing (when Remus still possessed), beeing a king of some country, have an -I don't know who she is- princess as his queen, and done....

Well, I think she still love Istovan, so when Istovan married Amnelis, it's really devastating her. She married Aldo Naris without being forced to, although their relationship remain like friends as she had to stay virgin to mantain her power as seer......

Oh see now that if fucked up. I hated and still hate Istovan with a passion because i spotted very early on what type of character he would turn into. I was hoping he would not get a kingdom but he ended up getting Mongol so the damn prophecy was true. What really saddens me is that Amnelis in the end kills herself after all that has happened i wanted her to at least find some peace and she never did. She bore and child and killed herself that royally screwed her but Istovan once again losses nothing. Im glad Rinda refused him he can be alone forever for all i care. On top of that if thats true about Amnelis he doesnt even have his son from his queen she gave him away. But he has a bastard child from a random maid? this guy doesn't deserve to live let alone rule a kingdom.

well, i guess he did something for Amnelis and he kept the oath he made. I also hate istovan, i have disliked him since his first appearance. I am glad that what he really wanted, he never got.
