I guess this is what would have happened if things for Krauss went bad. Or good? In retrospect the terrible scenario that Natsuhi tried to avoid at all costs as shown in ep5, would have caused the tragedy of 1986 to not occur at all

Now without a an electronic dictionary I'm kinda helpless and I'm too lazy to check on my Nelson, but I can at the very least tell you that Jessica says that even so she liked Gohda's and Kumasawa's cooking, she thinks that the meals of her mother are the best of all.

The divorce is something that Krauss suggested to get the burden of the shame all on himself (I guess), but Natsuhi wouldn't ever allow that, and probably krauss is talking big there XD.

Anyway this comic really gives me the feeling that this is showing what would have happened if Krauss and Natsuhi never lied about Kinzo and were evicted by their house in Rokkenjima, and live in poverty. Natsuhi is probably dreaming about that because she begun to think about such a scenario. I think... ^^;

Also... wouldn't Jessica have to go to a different school if they were poverty stricken? She's wearing the same uniform that was shown in the anime, I assumed that she went to a nice school because they could afford it...

Well I wouldn't call that poverty..I mean in compeherison to that huge mansion yes, but I would call that pretty normal standarts. But that could be also the case. Like I said I have no clue on whats going on except that Natsuhi is dreaming a alternate scenario.

About the uniform well this means that she still goes to the same school on Niijima, I doN't know if there are "expensie schools" on small island like that but I don't know.

All is relative
In that comic they live inside a small apartment, which in my experience is slightly below average for a japanese family. They might not live in a street but compared to what they were used to there is an abyss.
