Magnificent summaries Sushi. I don't feel as bad for not being able to read Japanese. I can get the entire story through you. Thankyou for doing them.

Gah, now I have to wait years to find out what happens from 8 on.

ZnT is a great light novel by all means right up there with FMP, Shana and Harushi in my opinion. Currently i just finished reading Vol 11 of ZnT. Sadly i don't speak Japaneses well so i read the fan translated Znt in Chinese. However i don't trust my Chinese skills to be a decent translator and besides i will be busy with school soon.

Does anyone know of a site that has the review of all of the volumes?

No, Sushi stated on that forums that she would quit since a group started to translate. But they are going so slow that the novels will be punblished in english before they get volume 2 done.

Sorry for being so slow.

I mean we did have more translators, but Sushi-Y the person who was our main translator and who ultimately pushed the project had to drop out.

And as you know sushi-Y excellent talent, it was hard to fill in that missing hole.

the good thing, is that it seems to finally pick up speed, but now suddenly there is potential that it will be published in English.

so it seems like its abit late.....

oh well, might as well do as much as possible before the axe falls.....

O, I am not trying to insult. Everyone has their own thing to do. I was just trying to show the fact that it will be a while before those of us who can't read japanese or Chinese find out about novel 8 and on. Don't take that bad, please. I had also forgotten each of you did different sections. I was thinking that the same translators did all of the stories(looks at Haruhi in speed wise). Please though, not trying to insult.

And there is no potential..it was picked up. Was announced a few weeks back.

Only problem is the companies go slow as well. Will be a few years before they get up to 8.

Have Seven Seas specified exactly when they're planning on releasing the light novels in english?

It seems according to the forums their entire line of novels under the new "Light Novel"-label will be launched in 2008.

Hoping to see Zero no Tsukaima in there.

the site was supposed to be a ZnT novel translation site. It seems a shame that we can't access it. Do people think that I should learn Japanese in university or learn it of my friend Long who does translating stuff?

So, so true. The reason I put out the question to learn Japanese now or in uni is because it sucks waiting for everything to be translated into english
