Personally i really like the new OP. The song fits the visuals nicely, and there's some seriously nice shots - especially Hawkeye and Black Hayate together.

Kinda don't like them having Winry cry, when Ed promised that he wouldn't have her cry anymore.

Yes this is what bothers me the most out of the opening (and Riza crying too). It kind of misses the point. The ending of the opening is nice, but I agree with others where is Al?


As for the ending I love the song but the images are boring. But maybe both the opening and ending will grow on me.

What Kanon means is that Bradley isn't crying in the OP, it's because of the rain!

Although Roy of course really was crying so now how do I know if it was the rain or not with Bradley. From that opening it seems Bones likes the angst.

Well, we all knew that already from what they did to the first anime.

Anyways, even though the OP and ED disappointed me for a varied number of reasons, thankfully I can't say the same for the episode itself, as it was just beyond epic. Great job setting up all the fights just like the manga chapter.

And the ending... oh god the ending. The ED video may be boring but the song sure works absolutely awesome as a transition. That was probably the best episode finish in the series. It totally gets you pumped up for some hardcore GARphonse next week.

The last shot in the OP shows the brothers' house with a green roof. That's a good sign I guess, but the lack of Al near the end (the scenes with Ed sleeping and Winry watching) worries me. I hope it doesn't mean something bad would happen to him in the end. They should've shown all 3 of them in that scene, imo.

I dunno, Winry is sitting on Ed's bed, so it is like a private moment, would be weird to be standing there. Not to mention, there is not a finalize shot of recovered Al, not even in the manga yet.

Exactly ! The whole opening reminded me of that wonderful scene, with all the raining and crying.

Hmmm, looking more closely, it really looks like he's crying... but that'd be kind of out of character for him. Plus I like to think they were going for the opposite of that Roy scene.

Actually the fact that Bradley was crying might not be exactly that random... I actually never really saw him as evil figure.
Heck, even Pride who is the cruelest homonculus so far, has feelings. He himself admitted it.

Ugh, the new OP has no action sequences! The song's really mellow, too.... AARGGHHHH! I'm slightly sad... The ED's annoying because it's exactly like the third ED, focusing on the Elrics only... >.< We're not gonna be getting a sixth set, are we?

On another note, it was a fantastic episode, though. Pride, Olivier, Al with Philosopher's Stone FTW. Great animation, great action - even the music seems like it got a lot cooler - just plain awesomeness. One of my favourite parts of the manga's coming up in a few episodes!

What a spoiler filled OP! Jeez. I didn't like how they made it look like Wrath was crying, just doesn't fit his character. Truth!Winry and Winry standing on the hill crying wasn't all that great either, she's not supposed to cry! Of course, I was screaming by the time the OP was over the first time I watched it because of the EdWin-nessss! Sooo cute.

The episode itself was outstanding, I laughed at the part when Ed was trying to open the door in Lab 3 haha. The fighting scenes were great, music and it's placement was great also. Brotherhood just keeps getting better and better every week, kinda makes me sad that there's only 11 more episodes left, it's such an amazing series.

The ED was...plain? Idk what word I'm looking for. I liked how it was simple, but the first 10 seconds of Young Hohenheim just standing there was boring, not to mention the still pictures of Ed and Al, even though Al was so adorable and back in his body.

I just expected more with this being the last set of OP/EDs from this. I'm gonna miss it.
