Not sure how this one is panning out today *looks at tracker* some of those bumps make it still too close to call for my comfort! Flame haze looks 'ok' but only provisionally. Rika is rallying however she has quite the way to make up. So for the other, it is too much of a Gordian knot for me to make head or tail of.

I can't believe a Saki pro is beating Ayumi and Rika. Also that spike with Sena feels oddly suspicious (though I hope it isn't). Shana isn't exactly having the time of her life either with Izumi creeping up.
Yup, we finally have an interesting Saimoe day here.

Finish 1st round with a 1-2, which means I'm back to my standard 66.67% (64-32).
Nipah won a close one. She won't be much of a challenge to Mio if she has this much trouble against a 3rd tier Saki girl... And Shana survived...just to face Kuroyukihime

Picks: 2-1 (54-42)
Predictions: 2-1 (71-25) T_T Miu... (#2) Haven't done as well this year. Last year I was 74-22 at this point. Picks: Ilya, Iori Predictions: Saki, Iori Nako may have a chance at upsetting Saki, who didn't look all that solid against Mahomaho. However, Nako wasn't really challenged in R1 either, so maybe her total is inflated. Iorin vs Shinobu is a bit harder to call, but with Nisemonogatari not doing so well, I'm siding with Iorin. Well, I would've went with Iorin either way ^^;;

She had a bit more trouble from Izumi than I expected but Shana comes through to advance to Round 2. I'm not sure if Shana can make it out of the Block but she'll surely try. Maybe in every other world it was a loss but at least in this fragment a miraculous 2 vote win brings Rika and the Higurashi series one more victory. It's probably the last one for real this time but it's eally nice to see Rika get it. Sena goes out and does what she has to do to advance. She's also going to try and win this block.

Here's some of the statistics for round 2 contestants:
Round 2 by series prevalence 1st 15 Saki 2nd 8 The Idolmaster 3rd 4 K-On! 3rd 4 Working! 5th 3 Boku Wa Tomodachi Ga Sukunai 5th 3 Fate/Stay Night 5th 3 Ghostory 5th 3 Strike Witches Round 2 by voice actor prevalence 1st 9 Rie Kugimiya 2nd 3 Kana Hanazawa 2nd 3 Youko Hikasa 2nd 3 Kaori Ishihara 2nd 3 Kanae Itou 2nd 3 Hisako Kanemoto 2nd 3 Nao Touyama Saki is very dominating this year. There were 43 Saki characters on the 1st round now it's down to 15, which is still many. Idolmaster characters are also doing well which there were 14 in the 1st round and now there are still 8 left. Since the 2nd round contestants has 1/3 chance of winning, I estimate about 5 Saki characters and 3 Idolmaster characters would advance to the 3rd round. Rie Kugimiya's characters are also dominating this year. Out of the 12 characters in the 1st round, 9 of them made it to the 2nd round. I also thought more Kana Hanazawa characters would make to the 2nd round. Since the 2nd round contestants has 1/3 chance of winning, probably about 5 Saki, 3 Idolmaster and 3 Rie Kugimiya characters would advance to the 3rd round. It will be amazing if there will be more for any of these. It looks the ones that have best chance of moving to the 3rd round would be Saki and Idolmaster characters voiced by Rie Kugimiya. That would be Iori (Idolmaster) and Yuuki (Saki). |

While Maho may have scared Saki a bit last round, I don't think Nako is as strong as Maho. Even if Saki isn't as strong as before she should still win. Idolm@ster characters have looked pretty good while Nisemonogatari characters have not. Before Round 1, I thought Shinobu was a bit stronger than Iori but I doubt this is true. Iori should win this one.
Votes: Miyanaga Saki Oshino Shinobu Predictions: Miyanaga Saki Minase Iori
