* Go back and reread this section. I cannot interpret it any way except that it's Hayato that compliments Airi on her eyepatch and it's Pegasus that's startled by Hayato's stupid line. This whole section is written from the viewpoint of Pegasus. The dialogue is not clearly attributed, but the underlying direction of the verb phrases confirm this interpretation to me. Pegasus asked if Airi is a "baka" after her and Noel's explanation of the eye patch and then Airi fired back, more like an argument between Kobato and Maria than anything else. Hayato eventually apologizes for his friend but the argument still continues for a while. I just reviewed this section again myself and found a line missed earlier that Pegasus had moved "tonari" (next) to Noel.
*That's an interesting observation about that last kanji from Airi's spoken line. I have also noticed for the first time that when Noel repeats the general's name later on, the text uses yet another kanji with different furigana.

I dunno, those Kate flags were in the LNs as well. It's just that she's not proactive in trying to go after Kodaka as Sena have a much stronger claim, even without the fiancee thing.

Does anyone know roughly how long it takes for each chapter in a volume to be translated?

Kind of curious because the anime will be moving into parts of the novel that haven't been translated yet.

The translator had finals at his college last week but yesterday he posted this:
"Finals are over and I'm back in action"

There are 3 chapters remaining though but only 1 anime episode.

My money sais it's going to be open ended similar to the way Sakurasou and Oreshura ended.

Lucky i can read Chinese, the chinese sites has the novel for volume 8 fully translated.
