Isn't Kami "god" in Japanese? So those two characters wouldn't be off. Plus, Shen-Ren has a much nicer ring than Kamito in Chinese.

I wonder what is Kamito's characters in Japanese~

They spell his name like a westerner's to fit with the western-fantasy theme, so it doesn't actually have any set definition. It's spelled カミト, but there's several ways to spell Kamito using kanji, so everything is more than likely just going to be speculation. Fitting with the theme of Demon Lords and whatnot, 神人 (Godly/divine man) is one likely possibility. Same with Kazehaya, but it most likely means something like gust, or a 'fast' breeze.

Technically for Japanese speakers, names written in kana do not have any particular meaning, e.g. みゆき does not mean anything, while any kanji name with the same reading does mean something. This is what I learned from my sensei. IMO names written in kana have more potential for jokes/word puns in fiction. What they mean is up to the imagination of readers, as you can interpret them in more than one way.

know intelligence agencies are suppose to be spy agencies to some degree but cmon finding out someone's fetish?? or the fact they might have more than 1 lover...then again political situations could get out of hand because of those things.

You should read about U.S dossier on Adolf Hitler. Something like sexual fetishes can be useful information.

Translating 1 series must be difficult. I'm pretty sure he's doing Cube x curious too. I'm sure translating 3 series would be incredibly taxing. Plus, he might just be taking a break from Campione, you never know.

Man it's been so long since I've been backmtomread this since translations were going slow but idc I just reread the parts that were important to the story to get a refresher but I found out if you miss one volume and skip to another there is a huge gap lol and it's hard to follow lol

Volume 6 definitely prove the fact Kamito is not a dumb Harem MC. He is hyper intelligent and would be walking away with a harem already if not for

A) Sabotage from rival Harem girls in the form of pure pain.

B) Girls who can't speak up (ELLIS~)

C) Girls who gossip and ruin his rep.

D) Est and Restia's wish he need to accomplish first.

E) Rival girls are peeking while he did want to amuse himself with a girl.

F) They all gang tackle together! Show favoritism is death.

G) He really don't even need or want one.
