Lol Ali is given a new Gundam and he takes it out for a test drive to Azadistan.

What better way to draw his ex-student out than by burning his country to the ground? lol

In this day and age though, that kind of thinking typically doesn't get you brownie points from politicians and the commoner, least of all the idealists, even if that point is all too true. Which is another reason why the A-Law's activities are kept out of the limelight: even if the Federation itself doesn't condone their actions, the A-Law's atrocities would still reflect upon the larger whole and tarnish their reputations.

More like ''borrowed'' Revive's Gundam for the time being.

Classic cliff-hanger method: have the villain say something relevant about what the protagonist is saying to end the episode with.

Something interesting, Setsuna said "ano iro...!" when he encountered Ali, indicating that he probably identified Ali through the color of that Gundam, but what's puzzling to me is that with the exception of his Agrissa-custom Enact, none other of his suits was painted red (Zwei is an exception, since it was red to begin with).

The Federation is what Celestial Being wrought.
And? CB isn't the one who sent killer droids after Sagi after throwing him into prison without trial.

And Kataron was set up BECAUSE people are being sent to death camps. Kataron is actually a counter group formed when A-Laws was created, not the other way around.
In fact, A-Laws was designed to force every neutral nation into the Federation. If they hadn't being behaving illegally, Kataron wouldn't have formed to begin with.

Let's say if Saji killed every single member of CB and Kataron with his bare hands. Would that make things better? Of course not, because he would still be executed as a terrorist because the SYSTEM is broken.

CB made things change. But it is the government that makes the changes. And as a citizen, Saji has the responsibility to make sure the changes are noticed.

And on that note, Saji didn't care that Setsuna was brainwashed into killing his parents back then. So why should Setsuna care that his way to make things right on his side of the planet affected Saji's life? It sounds cruel, but fact of the matter is Setsuna don't see Saji's current suffering as a big deal. It's better than what Setsuna went through when he was 10 years old, at least.

Blaming CB if you like; it wouldn't make anything better. And that's the argument; Saji want the status quo, including the broken system, because until he got arrested, the bad part of the system had nothing to do with him. But that doesn't mean the system wasn't broken. Saji WANT to believe that there had been a huge mistake, that A-Laws is really a benevolent organisation, and that everything would be OK when CB disappears.

And that's the desperate behavior that I dislike about Saji; he couldn't accept that the world isn't what he think it is.

Given that Ali's last known MS was the Zwei, Setsuna would thus assume that Ali would be the pilot, due to the MS being of similar appearance.

Well that was fun. Lyle went on a shooting spree with the automatons and Arios is the world's biggest scissor. Having a clip after the ending didn't seem so bad this time.

Revive Revival. I also got Bring. Does anyone else remember all of the Innovators' names?

But it could be Nena as well, no?

Actually, now that I think of it, the episode left it pretty ambiguous. He could be thinking of Nena, or anyone for that matter, since he never did explicitly call out the name of the other party.

Oh well, I guess I'm thinking too deeply into trivial matters

Of course Setsuna knew it was Ali. Who else would use a Gundam to burn a city to the ground?

No, Nean already was talking with wang in her MA, so it can't be the same one as Ali. Further more,Ribbons already stated that he gave it to Ali.

Setsuna wouldn't know that Ribbons gave that MS to Ali, so that's kinda a moot point

3. If almost squeezing off Exia's head is Sergei's best accomplishment, then I would be afraid for Sergei if he were to face off against someone like Ali who actually killed a Gundam Meister. That's right; killed. Not "almost ripped off mobile suit neck", but actually killed.

Sergei has shown he's a very skilled battlefield commander, but only an above average pilot when compared to the other Aces and Gundam Meisters.
1. The playing field was never level for him in S1. The Gundam Trinity were still far superior to the GNX.

2. By getting owned you mean giving Soma the opportunity if she wanted to too waste Alle? Double Alle is also a perfect super soldier I imagine a normal human would have to extremely skilled to live even a few second against that.

3. Ali didn't kill that Gundam Meister until after he had stolen a Gundam himself unless you're counting him gunning down one outside of the Gundam? Putting him on a level playing field unlike Sergei. Also Graham who damaged one of the Trinity's was in a overflag which is far superior to the mech that Sergei fought Setsuna in also.

Sergei is at least on par with both Graham and Ali as aces. Ali himself shows a sense of respect from him when they meet. Sergei is a beast and too often underrated by fans.

But really, for his moniker, Sergei was...quite lackluster. He sent the Thrones running...what...once or twice when Trinity were, frankly, rather poor pilots (here's hoping that Nena's improved over four/five years), and 'almost' took off Exia's head. Sorry, but even Patrick accomplished more than he did.

@Slick Rick: Sergei? On par with Ali? You're comparing someone whose best acheivement was almost taking off a Gundam's head (and he got worse in a GN-X save for his little scuffle with Drei) to a person who killed three Gundam Meisters and two of them quite effortlessly. Okay, Mikhail was shot on-ground, but still, plus this is the man who bested a Gundam in an Enact, one of the lowest-tier MSes in 00 there is next to the Realdo, Anf and standard Tieren, and the man who, with the sole exceptions of Allelujah and the new Lockon, has beaten every Mesiter in CB. Graham is also better, because of his stunt against Johann and being able to critically damage Exia and almost kill Setsuna, TRANS-AM effects aside.

And...give me proof of him being a 'beast'. Really and honestly, aside from some fancy nickname.

Really though, I'll be laughing about this way more than Mr. Bushido. Revive Revival has too many jokes for it. Even its literal meaning is funny.

Smile saji/smirnov

Did Saji lead the Fed/A-LAWS the the desert camp of Cataron or did Smirnov let him go because he believed he was not part of Cataron. The attack as just a coincident.
