Cover songs of all sorts! [Izui Kohana]

Hi everyone ^^ I'm new around here ~ Izui Kohana's my name. Otherwise I'm known as Sweets, Wendy, or Kohana. Some of you may have seen me as DJ Sweets from Anime Academy Radio because I used to do online djing. Anyhow! Onto what this topic is about!!

So I posted my picture in the picture thread and got a lot of pleasant comments from fellow AnimeSukians [which I'm very very sincerely thankful for!] so Kyuusai advised me to make a thread here in the Fan Creations for all of you to listen to my cover songs! =]

I'm just an amateur singer, covering songs of various languages in English, Japanese, Korean, etc etc. I love singing ballads, pop, and general RnB but I'll throw in some different genres here and there.

I'm still learning many many things about singing and my pitch isn't always perfect, sometimes a little off and such but it's the fun that counts! Sooo please visit my soundclick link and leave me a comment or some constructive criticism! Thank you!

------------->HIT IT!<-------------

Alright so... I was actually really bored and I thought I'd do Hoshi no Tobira for fun. I think I butchered it pretty bad LOL T_T I'm sorry NightShade. I didn't spend much time learning it, I just wanted to DO IT. So I did o.o;; My pitch was awfully jittery >_<;;~ ILL DO BETTER NEXT TIME!!

....but otherwise I added some cool reverb effects to make it sound closer to the original =] Enjoy!

------->If you dare!<-------

p.s. It sounds better towards the end [I guess I was more warmed up XD]

That sounded rather hit and miss, but then again that is an extremely difficult song and Satori Negishi has amazing vocals to begin with. Still a nice attempt but its probably worth doing again later after working on your voice more. I suppose I echo many in saying getting some voice training to refine your voice.

P.S.
Sorry if that sounded negative. I'm just not as quick to be nice as most people, but I do like your stuff.

It's alright (: I know I'd love voice training myself. Lessons aren't as cheap as I'd wish they'd be =[ --- I already take piano lessons and that's pretty expensive ^^
Thank you anyhow! =]

Sounds pretty good, although I'd prefer it more if you could sing it higher (edit: actually, nvm about that, I turned the volume on too low <_<). In any case, I like your voice.

Tell me about it, piano lessons cost enough as it is. Piano exams are borderline highway robbery sometimes with how much you have to pay.
