Encoding from MKV ordered chapters

I'm having trouble encoding MKV ordered chapters to .avi XviD (for DVD playback purposes), specifically the audio.

I can encode the video stream fine by using MeGUI since DirectShowSource uses Haali Media Splitter (thanks to the K-Lite codec tweak). The problem is I can't seem to get the audio of the ordered chapters to one stream and encode it.

I'm aware that this can be done using VirtualDub by using Avisynth's DirectShowSource with audio enabled, but I'm trying to avoid that method since there doesn't seem to be an automated 2pass in VirtualDub.

Are there any other methods/workarounds on this?

Thanks.

Edit : Also, if there are ways to extract the audio from ordered chapters into one stream, please do mention them.

don't do that
no really, it's pretty dumb
I mean if you want to watch on a TV I assume it's because you want a better viewing experience, and reencoding to SD Xvid AVI doesn't exactly improve the video quality

XviD q2? Of course you can't improve on the video quality, but you won't lose much either (at the expense of omghueg files). Other than that I agree: don't do that.

Yes I am downscaling it. Personal reasons. And yeah I know it's dumb lol, I'd be better off buying an HTPC then hook it up to a big LCD TV or so. But ohh well.

I keep 2 copies on my archieve, one HD (bluray or HDTV air) and one downscaled XviD avi

Anyway, found the answer. Vdub has export audio stream to WAV, which reads ordered chapters. Thanks for the replies
