Nope, he said they used the same dimension, and explicitly that they weren't necessarily the same technique. We already know exactly how the two techniques differ. One is centered at the Sharingan and requires physical contact to suck other things in, and the other is long-distance. What effect using the Mangekyou Sharingan has on the close-range version we don't know exactly.

sorry man you're incorrect. there is a manga chapter called 'One Jutsu'... you should reread it.

you're confusing 2 things. i said obito's phasing and vortex are the same technique which is what kakashi said in that chapter. whereas obito and kakashi's kamui differ in the placement of the vortex
