after reading ch 8..

Is easy to say that Ratman that should be a villain, is actually a Hero.

And the Heros, (not all), are villains...

The guy dressed as a skeleton in the bathroom....

So, who wants to bet that this will once again backfire and he'll be blamed by the girl for trying to blow the place up, despite trying to save people (without him even being able to explain himself)?

As far as the flashback goes, Shiningman was a hero. I'm glad. No more broken pedestals please.

Iv seen it and loved it

but this one is different. I like the plot line about a Main protagonist who is a hero loving teen and is transformed into the opposite of what he wants, and also great heroins two of them, ones cute and other beautiful XD.

Well It cant be too childish since, as we know He will turn into a Masked "Hero" of full grown man´s size, so he needs to have a voice cast that can balance the voice of a 15-17 child and 20-25 year old.

I thought the journalist girl will become nuisance for Ratman earlier on her debut chapter, but looks like she tends to Ratman's side...

i would so love an anime of this, but it migth be difficult since it has a lot of similarities with T&B, and japanese otakus seem to hate "ripoffs", even thoug this one is probably older.

about the VA: Ratman and Shooto can be filled with two different VA, if it must one, then Alfred Elric (FMA) voices will be good enough, but I prefer Daisuke Niwa voice for Shooto since it's cute.
Rio voice can be that of Mikoto (Mai HIME) and the Mizushima's can be filled with Shizuku Sangou (Kampfer)

btw,
the machine that we see behind Shining Man, I think it's some kind of Time machine (that bring you to the future/past) if not Cyrogenitor (to stop your body from aging or enter a temporary death like)

Ratman gives the overly used "hero" theme manga a very refreshing taste. The characters and short stories are too easy to like and connect to.
