Considering the fact that Yokoya got himself to be the dealer makes me think he still has a lot of distrust in his alliance. He might have figured out that one of the guys got convinced by Harimoto's cult member.

134: OH MY GOD! They are down to one chair!

The mask woman explains what happened. Unlike Harimoto's team who want to the other bystanders for negotiation, Yokoya went straight to the leader YJ. It was a good timing too because YJ was losing control of the bystanders. Yokoya offers YJ 4 of his coins.

However, the amount of coins isn't just a random number. Because baldy told him how many coins Akiyama's team has, Yokoya calculated the optimal amount.

The masked man also asks why they didn't choose Ikezawa as the winner of the polling instead. The masked woman explains that this was also calculated. Because Yokoya was recently backstabbed by someone in the team. If Ikezawa happens to be the backstabber, picking him would produce unfavorable results.

Harimoto wants 1,000 year old to be the next bystander. 800 year old asks him why he is not choosing White Suit instead. He explains that he has falsely promised White Suit to be the last person standing; if he got knocked out now, it may infuriate him into backstabbing them.

Their team is down to 10,000 year old and White Suit.

Harimoto tells 1,000 year old and 800 year old to recruit bystanders. He tells them not to pay more than 2 coins and spend only a total of 10 coins to get 5 people.

Harimoto finally asks 500 year old to ignore the "idiots" who are asking for 4 coins and negotiate with the ones asking for 3 coins to accept 2 coins. Abe asks him before recruiting bystanders, why couldn't they ask to ally Akiyama's team instead. She reasons that with Akiyama on their side, they would only need to recruit 2 bystanders to tie 12:12. Harimoto snaps and calls her an idiot. Harimoto tells her that if they went to ask Akiyama's team for alliance, they will ask for an impossible condition. He reminded her that this is "Lair Game." Abe tries to explain that Kanzaki would not do that. Harimoto is frustrated and keeps calling Abe "stupid." Abe gets PTSD and remembers getting beaten up when she was a child and her mother and his boyfriend would call her "stupid." Abe apologizes to 10,000 year old and tells her not to abandon her. Harimoto also apologizes.

The bell rings.

Harimoto asks 800 year old how the recruitment went. She tells her that 5 votes have been secured. He tells her good job.

The winner of the polling is: YOKOYA with 10 votes! Harimoto is shocked. Even the masked people are confused. Harimoto has 9 votes and Kanzaki has 5. Akiyama has chair #22 and #23. Harimoto has chair #12 and #17.

Yokoya calls out #12.

One of the masked man says that it is not over yet. Harimoto still has one chair left so he has one round left. The masked woman explains that is impossible because Harimoto last sat on #17. He cannot sit on it twice in a row. She tells him that Yokoya is truly frightening because he specially chose #12 knowing that Harimoto last sat on #17.

Looks like an alliance between Harimoto and Akiyama is inevitable now.

135: Oh my god! What is going to happen after this chapter?! I can't predict the next chapter at all!

It turns out that the reason Yokoya knows about Harimoto's chair number is because of Sakai. Yokoya threatened Sakai and offered 2 of his coins for 7 of Sakai's coins. As a result, Yokoya gained even more information about Harimoto's chair and Harimoto lost Sakai's vote.

Harimoto is not giving up. He wants to sell his votes out for coins. He wants 4 coins from Akiyama.

Abe objects. She doesn't want to scam Kanzaki's group.

Harimoto goes to Akiyama to sell his votes. Akiyama refuses. Harimoto offers his votes for 3 coins instead of 4. Akiyama tells him that the amount of coins is not the problem, he doesn't want to work with Harimoto because he doesn't trust him (Akiyama, you are too awesome).

Round 20 is over.

I just realized something about the musical chairs game that I think Akiyama might use

This game is actually like the contraband game. The point isn't to win the game, but to lose the game with the most amount of money. What's important isn't who's sitting in the last chair, but who has the most medals of the winner. I suspect they might pull another move similar to the contraband game where they somehow get all of Yokoya's medals without him realizing while he's focused on eliminating the competition, so while he 'wins', Akiyama and Nao get the money.

What I was thinking, is well, Harimoto has one chair, and Akiyama has one chair. Combine those, and well, you can survive. Also, whom is the last member left of Harimoto's group? Is it shortbob or white suit?

I believe its the white suit. I am hoping Akiyama really did something already, he has been way just too quiet. The chair with Harimoto seems to be the most likely action he took.

Harimoto tries to ally himself with White Suit. White Suit refuses.

Harimoto doesn't want Abe to do anything. Abe feels helpless and calls herself trash. Kanzaki appears and asks her for help. She also tells her that she is not trash.

Harimoto tries to Akiyama once again. Akiyama calls him annoying and refuses.

White Suit and Akiyama seem to be out this round.

Yokoya wins the polling again. He chooses #17, Harimoto's last chair.

Akiyama appears. He asks Yokoya, "You really think you've won? You really have easily fell into the trap."

Well well, what's this trap that Akiyama set for Yoyoka? Anybody have any theories? I can only think of two possible ways that he set up a trap that might turn this around.

Well, my first theory was they somehow managed to get all of Yoyoka's medals, so even if he wins, they get the money

My second theory is that he somehow switched the number on the chairs, for example he made it look like chair #17 was really chair #21 or something, so chair #17 was really Yoyoka's chair while the Akiyama group actually has two chairs left, letting Nao sit in one to survive while Yoyoka unknowingly eliminated his own chair

Any other theories you guys have?

What if Akiyama is banking on Yokoya's other group member to win instead? Making the gaya choose him to be the leader in the next round to eliminate Yokoya.

Or perhaps Akiyama saying Yokoya had step into his trap is in itself a trap. After all, Akiyama is unlikely to gloat unless he thinks it will help him in some way.

Yokoya thinks to himself, "Trap? That's impossible. There are only three chairs left. Me and Fatty still have chairs that we can sit. However, Kanzaki doesn't have one. The last ones standing should be me and fatty. Fatty shouldn't be backstabbing me because the coins in his pocket has my name on it. Unless, the fatty got bought out by Akiyama's group? No, that is impossible. Because I had been backstabbed once, I forced those 3 team members to stay with each other at all times. If another team wants to buy out any one of them, they have to buy out all three of them. Akiyama's team doesn't have enough to buy out all three of them.

Yokoya says, "Akiyama, your objective must be to make us feel insecure about our team. Buying us out is impossible."

Akiyama, "I didn't think about buying out at all."

Yokoya thinks to himself, "It isn't buying out? It couldn't be..."

Could he be thinking of finding the chair that I am going to sit on? No. That is impossible. In the previous round, after fatty told me where the chair was, I told the team members to go patrol the area. During that time, I went to check the hiding place that fatty told me about. For insurance, I even hid that chair in another place. When I arrived at the polling, everyone else was already there. No one knows about the location of the chair I am going to sit on. 15 minutes have passed since the round started. It is impossible to be able to find that chair in such a short time."

Yokoya says, "Akiyama, stop scaring people. No one knows where the chair I am going to sit on is hiding. Even my team members don't know where it is.

Akiyama says, "What are you talking about, Yokoya? I never said I found your chair."

The 13 people (excluding Akiyama), with arms in arms entwined, surround Yokoya.

Mask man 1: "How come?"

Mask man 2: "Because in Liar Game, it is impossible to gather more than 10 people and have them all use the same tactics... at least that's what everyone believes. Thinking of <band together is chair stealing game's best tactics> can only be Kanzaki and Akiyama."

Mask man 1: "Even though it is not an incomprehensible thing but to be able to gather more than 10 people and complete the strategy, this is as Akiyama said, "Yokoya's loss. Bystander 2: "What is the meaning behind doing that?"

Akiyama: "You guys are really slow. Didn't Harimoto and Yokoya always buy your votes with their coins?"

Bystander 3: "Right. They gave us junk coins."

Akiyama: "They are not junk coins. If Yokoya cannot sit on a chair, then in this round, the only one who can sit on a chair is fatty. The coins that were treated as junk coins will then be worth 1 billion."
----Flashback----

Mask man 1: "Ha ha! It was like that!"

Yokoya tells some of the bystanders to move.

Yokoya: "This is an act of brute force. You will be penalized with one billion!"

Akiyama: "What kind of sleeptalk are you spouting, Yokoya? What they are doing isn't brute force. They are simply entwining their arms. It is not like they are touching you. You can rest assured and go to the location where your chair is at. If you can go over there, that is."

Yokoya turns around. There were people there. He turns around again. He bumps forward and gets knocked back down.

Akiyama: "Ho ho ho. It is not that simple, is it, Yokoya? That's because the bystanders had a good night sleep last night. On the other hand, you didn't even have a chance to close your eyes."

Mask man 1: "That's right. Late last night, that incident was like that!"

Mask woman: "That incident?"

(I won't translate this part because I forgot what happened that night. The meaning is unclear unless I understand what happened.)

Yokoya tries to tackle this big guy. He gets knocked back.

Akiyama: "Ha ha ha. What's wrong, Yokoya. If you don't hurry up and get out of this circle, you will not make it."

Yokoya thinks to himself, "Shit. How could it end up like this? There is a woman (Abe). I should be able to get out from this side. I will first create a feint. Now!"

Yokoya tackles Abe and he falls back.

Abe: I definitely will not let you get past.

Yokoya: "!"

Kanzaki: "Ah! That's the signal."

Mask man 1: "The time is up! I can't believe there is only one person left in this round. The winner is Ikezawa!"

It may seem like the trap was too simple but it was also so simple that it was overlooked. Yokoya dug his own grave once again.
