anyway i am pretty sure this is just advertisement for upcoming anime

it just feel Summary-ish and now way they wasted that much budget just for 26 m of youtube video

It SEEM to say they would have more information of the "next instalment", whatever it may be, on March of 2012. This was not on the NicoNico broadcasts, so it seems they added it in to the Youtube release to let people know there is more forthcoming. Or at least we would know when to look for info.

Funny that they blocked all comments. I would have thought they would have wanted people to say something.

Nah, lots of official-type YouTube videos don't allow comments, most likely because the companies can't control the content of the comments.　It's not uncommon, I've seen it a lot.

The message at the end does indeed promise (very vaguely) some news about future developments to come in March.

After finishing it I felt like I was putting a puzzle together, and some pieces were missing. Lets hope virtues of storytelling won't be stomped by merchandising and animation budget.

And for about 3/4 of episode I didn't even recognise Rie's voice. Only in last fight she sounded like angry Taiga for a bit.

Wohoot! I didn't think we would get any more details until later in the year but I'm not complaining, really hope it gets a full tv series this time (and that the visuals stay as nice as they were in the OVA).

Yeah, it sounds like they ironed out the final decision earlier than expected. So it seems they really didn't know how much money they could commit into this project until recently.

Japan doesn't do Pilot episodes very often. So it's rather unusual to see it applied to anime. Of course, they've been doing that for American TV series for decades.

I'd prefer something along the lines of FLCL (a six-episode OVA series) rather than something airing on TV. They'll never keep the same quality otherwise.

I've just found camrips of imagine-nation TV program featuring Kyousogiga's genesis with Rie Matsumoto's interview. You should watch it since it's informative and in english.

Agreed. I haven't seen a show doing this format for a pretty long time already.
