The chapter starts.
Jae Min is seen thinking about Ma Ri in class-- about how she told him to "stop doing this"--- all while having that really sad look of his on his face. *sob*

He receives a text message from Ma Ri, saying to meet her after class in front of the band room.

When the two meet in front of the band room/department/thing- Jae Min is all, what's going on? I was going to go to your classroom after class ended. Did you want to see me that badly? Then he asks, so what should we for fun today/what should we do/that sort of thing- want to go inside and play some guitar? Then Ma Ri speaks-- "stop". stop, now. i asked to see you to tell you to stop all of this. Jae Min laughs, saying that she's at it again (with the trying to push him away business), and says that even if she says to stop, it won't stop him-- or tries to say that, but is cut off by Ma Ri's shouting of "i'm saying to stop, now!"/stuff like that. Then she says- "why do you not listen?" and continues to say that their whole relationship isn't possible. "anyway, don't make it hard for me anymore. please." Jae Min then says, "then tell me the reason. stop avoiding me and explain to me a reason so i can understand. what in the world is the reason of why you can't meet me? you like me, right? so why..!" THEN MA RI'S WORDS PIERCE THROUGH HIS HEART-- "..no. liking you-- there was not a single time when i liked you." Both Jae Min and Ma Ri have pained looks on their faces.

Back to Jae Min- "ha.. i don't know anymore. ok. i get it. leave/go. and.." Ma Ri looks extremely pained/sad and leaves, before he can finish what he was going to say.

We're now back in the classroom, where the red-haired girl- Jung Soo Ri- she's shown saying, "i don't like this. i really don't like this", while clenching her fists tightly.

In a memory, we see Dou Ou Mi exclaiming, "that's absurd/nonsensical/ridiculous. what the heck is that.." Ma Ri replies, "don't worry. i'll do something about it by myself." Jung Soo Ri jumps in, saying, "what are you going to do/how are you going to do it--- are you going to do whatever that girl (Ah Ra) orders you to do?" And Ma Ri's words are shown in that one speech bubble in the gradient black to white background-- "there's no choice/i have no choice/it's unavoidable/inevitable/can't change it".
Then it's back to the current situation, where Jung Soo Ri hears the other girls gossiping again. "of course you have to kick (the vampire) out! the thought of (the vampire) is just disgusting/revolting/terrible!" "that's right, that's right!"

And then I'm pretty sure Jung Soo Ri is remembering how she asked Ma Ri if she really didn't mind just ending it with Jae Min like that, and Ma Ri says that it's better than not being able to see him at all. (this is so sad. >___<) Jung Soo Ri's like, there's no such a thing as just leaving it at the "never seeing Jae Min again" state. Then Soo Ri sees Si Hoo, who's thinking, "after creating a problem, where has she (Ma Ri) gone to?" Soo Ri then asks him to talk with her for a moment.

The scene changes to the beautiful outdoors. Ma Ri is walking alone, thinking about Jae Min's words from earlier- "you like me- is that not true?" She suddenly stops, and we see her fist, which is shaking with emotion. She remembers about all the wonderful times she spent with Jae Min, and starts to cry. She runs... and Jae Min is seen behind her/at the same place. He grabs her shoulder, swiftly turning her around. He tells her, "after school today, i'm going to wait at that fountain that we were at before. if you don't come.. i'll never bother you again. i'll never appear in front of you ever again. this is the last time. i promise." (HOLY CRAP, I AM EXPLODING WITH EMOTION. tell me i'm not alone akwejr;lakwejr)

The bell rings! "Ding dong deng dong"- xD
We're once again at a classroom, where all the girls are waiting for Ah Ra-- "why is Ah Ra not coming?did she just go home?" "no~ how can (i) wait until tomorrow?" One girl asks some others- "what do you think (the vampire) looks like?" -- Well, basically, she's wondering about how the vampire will look. Anyway, since that's not that important--
Jung Soo Ri and Dou Ou Mi (Ma Ri's friends) are watching the girls wait for Ah Ra/gossip/yap about the vampire and their curiousness, red-head looking angry, glasses-girl looking worried.

Now we're at the point where Ah Ra is talking to Ma Ri about Jae Min, probably for the MILLIONTH time. Ah Ra- "did you solve it out? did you properly fix the situation?" Ma Ri doesn't respond. Ah Ra- "what is this? why aren't you saying anything?" Ma Ri finally replies. "can't you just leave me alone?" Ah Ra's all, "what?" Ma Ri continues on, "i don't want to just end it like this with Jae Min.." AND YEP. THERE'S AH RA'S FAMOUS ANGRY FACE. *gag*
Here's there conversation-

Ah Ra: What are you saying? Are you saying that you're going to stick to his side?
Ma Ri: ...
Ah Ra: Once the word of you being a vampire gets out, it'll all be over for you. Don't you know that? Are you trying to say that even then, when the word is out, you'll be able to still get along with Jae Min?
Ma Ri: That's why.. that's why I'm pleading you like this right now. Please. I won't bother you. That's why...
Ah Ra: Ok. Let's do that. I can't stand it anymore.
I wonder what's going to happen when Jae Min finds out about you being a vampire~ It's going to be worth seeing his expression tomorrow~ Maybe he will even report you to the police himself~

This time, Ma Ri blows a fuse: OK! DO WHAT YOU WANT!!
Ah Ra is clearly surprised: ?! ...
Ma Ri: Do you know how I feel? Do you know how my heart feels? I can't even like the person I like the way I want to! Do you really have to use me this way? Do you really have to play around with me like this? (Ma Ri says this as tears stream down her face. If this isn't heartbreaking, I don't know what is. xD)
Ah Ra: SHUT UP/BE QUIET. Why should I care about how you feel? WHO SAID TO LIKE A HUMAN? You don't even know what you are as a vampire!
Ma Ri: ...

THEN. SI HOO COMES. "HEY. ARE YOU NOT GOING TO SHUT YOUR MOUTH?" Both Ma Ri and Ah Ra are surprised at someone else's arrival.
We're all left hanging with Si Hoo's last words, "Do you want to die today?"
MAN, his angry-face is FIERCE. LOL.

It is decision time for Ma Ri, if it were me I will personally choose what my heart say is right instead of my mind. That is how I ended up with the girl of my life and planning to marry when we both graduate college. Everyone told me to say away from her even my family, so when I ask her out they shun me for a long time although it hurt I felt my decision is right. I like this Manga particularly it related to me greatly and my experience. I hope Ma Ri made the same choice I did and chooses love and her desire instead of worrying about others. Looks like she made up her mind, although the conversation was grim I say it was needed to wake her up and tell him the truth. Fearing of what might happen will doing nothing. Only when the action is made is when you worry about them.

True, I hope this will be a step forward in Ma Ri in taking that step forward into doing what she has to do, despite the risks involved. It's understandable why Ma Ri will be scared, but it's a risk worth taking because it'll be a chance for her to see if her wish for human/vampire coexistence will be a reality instead of an impossible dream.

It just kills me inside how people think of a sweet innocent girl like Ma Ri, as a monster and saying things that they have no right to say. It's just..."sighs" people can be so cruel.

Nothing in the world is fair, people got prejudice against others for no reason. It like people who don't stay in the flow are hated or something. I wasn't in the flow and I am happy for that, Ma Ri don't need to stay in the flow as well. I am pretty sure there will be an event where another Vampire was in the similar situation as her in the future. Ma Ri just need to be honest, her fear is rightly earn though if you do nothing nothing will happen. If you want to find the truth make an action, the risk involved are high, but when was there anything that is worth finding out about didn't have risks,

The blonde had the nerve to call Ma Ri filthy and a "thing" of all things, that just, seriously Ah Ra (the blonde), just die, I seriously hate you! I know it's fiction, but seeing her struggle to find her place in the world and putting up with all that crap she's going through, it...well I'm a soft guy, so you get the point. Sorry if it makes you think I'm weird, but that's exactly how I feel. But of course we need the drama just to make more scenery relevant to the plot itself.

Odds are they will become a couple. The author already promise a good ending. As for the Blonde, she is definitely on my hate list. I do feel a lot of anger towards her, due to the fact she judge someone base on their race and the things she has done to Ma Ri. I don't want her to die, I just want her to be rejected heavily. What is the best way? It would be Ma Ri getting a happy love relationship with the guy she loves. Update us when anything happens. .......... It feels so lonely in this thread. It doesn't make sense, this Manga is good and it is all color.

There is one thing I always wanted to ask you, where did you get those avatars from? Anyway thanks for keeping us updated. I speak only two languages fluently and know only some Japanese, Chinese, and Italian (My family is spread very wide so I have to learn how to speak some form of these languages to stay in touch, can't read them though only speak). So it is nice you speak Korean and learn how to read it.

No problem, I love this series so it's my pleasure to keep it updated for those who love to comment and discuss this series. I'm learning to speak and read Japanese characters. I can speak it and read it a bit, but I'm still not close to the beginner level per say. The same goes for Korean, as well.

I can't read koren, but before the last break, the author wrote he's going to take a break to gather material for the second part, os unless something bad happen - this isn't an end

No worries I'll have chapter 71 summarized soon, and sorry if I'm sounding like a broken record, but chapter 71 is not the end...the author is going to start the next story arc. It probably means no chapter 72 next week, but oh well it'll definitely be worth the wait.

Flashback! Si Hoo remembers Jung Soo Ri's words-

Si Hoo is looking around.
Si Hoo: Where the heck is (she)...
He hears something!
"OK!! DO WHAT YOU WANT!!"

Si Hoo sees Ah Ra with Ma Ri.
"Do you know how I feel/ I can't even like the person I like the way I want to.. Do you understand/know about these feelings..!" (This is from last week.)
Si Hoo: .....

Ma Ri: Do you really have to use me this way? Do you really have to play around with me like this?
Ah Ra: SHUT UP!! How is that of my concern/why should I care (about how you feel)?! Who said to like a human?! You don't even know what you are as a vampire!!

Si Hoo then walks out of the place he was "hiding/watching" from.
Si Hoo: Hey. Are you not going to shut that mouth?!
(Ma Ri is surprised)
Ah Ra: ?

Ma Ri's thoughts: Han Si Hoo..?

Si Hoo walks forward, right until he's directly in front of Ah Ra.
Si Hoo: Do you want to die today?
Ah Ra (flustered): What, what?!
Ma Ri (while watching in surprise): ......

Ah Ra: Hey. I think you've misunderstood something right now. Do you know what she is? She---..!!

Si Hoo puts his fist by her head. The situation becomes tense.
Si Hoo: If you don't really want to die today, be quiet. (Be quiet) before I suck all your blood out.
Ah Ra: What?!

Si Hoo stares vehemently into Ah Ra's eyes.
"......"
Ah Ra: Could you.. Could you be a vampire too?!

A smile/grin starts to creep up Si Hoo's face.
Ah Ra: (Basically) Oh my god, holy..!

Si Hoo turns to talk to Ma Ri.
Si Hoo: Hey, I'll take care of this/her. Go to that guy/you can go to that guy.
Ma Ri (with tears in her eyes): ...What?
Si Hoo: If you like him that much-- let's go all the way and see what happens then.)
I'll laugh to my heart's content then. (..like, whatever happens then, if something goes wrong or something, he'll laugh to his own desire then.)

Ma Ri: ......
Si Hoo: What are you doing? I said to go.
Ma Ri: But..
(Ah Ra looks extremely annoyed/angry as she watches them.)

Si Hoo: ARGH/UGH..!" Hurry up and go!! Don't cry/sob again about it later!!

Ah Ra: Where are you saying that you're going to go to/where are you going? Stay put/don't move anywhere. Just try to move and I'll..!

Ma Ri looks downwards, the tears still welling in her eyes.
Ma Ri: ......
She runs off!

Ah Ra is like, that, that..! Si Hoo watches Ma Ri go away. Ah Ra is definitely not pleased at the moment.

Ah Ra: What am I supposed to do now? You guys, just watch! (Or well, she's threatening them/warning them of what she's going to do next.) I'm going to report you guys (to the police) right away! RIGHT AWAY/IMMEDIATELY! And what? Do I want to die? NONSENSE/THAT'S RIDICULOUS. I'm not afraid at all, ok?! You guys don't have any power left...

He punches the brick wall behind Ah Ra with some extreme strength, and it crumbles.
Ah Ra: ......

Si Hoo: Hey. I'm different from that nice/innocent (girl) (He's talking about Ma Ri--) If I wanted, I could just suck your blood right now. I'm that kind of person. Go ahead and try reporting (me/us). I'll suck every ounce of blood out of you/I won't leave a single drop of blood in you.

Ah Ra's shocked/petrified. Si Hoo then tells her if she.. I'm not sure, causes any problems/does anything else-- he'll kill her for sure. "Got it?"
Ah Ra's eyes are huge with shock/fright. "..!"

Ma Ri runs as fast as she can, panting.
Flashback time, again! xD

Si Hoo: The moment you get discovered, that's the end.
Ah Ra: Do you think that you match/suit Jae Min? ---

Ma Ri squeezes her eyes shut, tightly. She continues running.

It's already night. Jae Min's waiting at the fountain.

"Sorry! I'm late, right?" - Jae Min turns around quickly at these words. But it's not Ma Ri who spoke. It's from the girl in the other couple.
Jae Min: ......
Jae Min checks his watch, and is frustrated/sad. Right then, Ma Ri shows up! No one speaks, for awhile.

Ma Ri breaks the silence: I.. I can't do anything for you.. And if you find out about me.. you might be really disappointed..
Jae Min: ......
Ma Ri: Even so.. just until then.. can you stay by my side?
Jae Min looks back at her. THE KISS HAPPENS.

I'm not sure who's saying what, so.. hehehe. xD
"Sorry. I said I was sorry.." "What are you sorry about?"
Ma Ri has "those" eyes. The really big/squiggly white ones. Is she embarrassed/at loss for words from the kiss? *O*
Jae Min: ......
Then Jae Min basically tells Ma Ri to reflect/repent on what she did. Anyhow, that part isn't really that important. ....

Then there are those words in the boxes.. I'm pretty sure it's what Ma Ri's thinking. "The events in the future bring uneasy thoughts/uneasiness to me, but I don't want to think about them right now. No, I didn't think about it/no thoughts came to mind/.. anyway, you guys get the gist, right?

"And, strangely, Ah Ra didn't cause any trouble. What could have happened?"
Ma Ri: Hm...
Jung Soo Ri: She became a total liar.
Ma Ri: ...

"Anyway, for now/temporarily/at the moment, it seems like everything will be fine/everything will go smoothly."

Ah Ra looks out the window, fist shaking.

And at the end, Ah Ra joins the band club. (Dear god!)

And everyone else stares in disbelief when Ah Ra joins as the new member.
Then Si Hoo-- "I was thinking of joining, too-" "Hi~" (with a wave)
Ah Ra and everyone is even more surprised at this! (Ah Ra especially)
And then the following is sort of self-explanatory LOL- Just pictures. ^o^

Ma Ri's face.
"But I have a feeling that the future's going to be even more chaotic.
Anyway, and like that, the short but long autumn passed."

Like chapter 40, we're going to enter a new arc it seems. Which is good because I reread the past chapters and there's still things that need to be explored and I'm sure the author planned this in mind. That's just me though. Like the previous arc end, I'm sure the author (the author is a "he" by the way) is taking a week or two off just like when he started the new story arc after chapter 40. That's all I can say for now.

Oh yes, chapter 70 has finally been scanlated and released!

She still didn't tell him the truth. This is dragging on too much and even to the next arc. It is kind of annoying she doesn't have faith in him, relationships got to have faith with one another. Still, I am happy for them.

Well it's more like he acted before she could've said anything. Despite the "secret" being kept under the rug...for now, I'm personally liking the direction it's going. Even though that we still have that blonde to deal with "shudders", and the white haired vampire joining the club...things will get interesting.

I wonder if the next arc will start during the winter season because we've finished autumn already, so there's so many possibilities for romance and conflict, with Christmas and everything. Plus, knowing the author I'm sure he has a couple of characters being added to the mix for more drama, and there's still Jae Min's and Si Hoo's backstory we need to explore a bit.

It will be a long two months however. I hope it is for the best. Although it was Jae Min's fault, she still should have told him the truth. Hopefully they can pass that hurdle when the truth comes out. Wow do I can imagining Blondie and Silver Hair will be a couple later on. It is usually predictable that the most unlikable characters be together in many series.

I know this is upsetting/annoying you, but as they say "the bigger the secret, the bigger the drama". I'm sure that the author is going to introduce a new antagonist, I think it could be associated with Ma Ri or the white haired vampire.

I'm not happy about blondie and silver hair joining the club. Scratch that silver hair yes, blondie "shudders" she can die for all I care. Either way, you're right it's getting predictable, but the pacing of the story is getting more unique because each character is having their own personal development and Ma Ri, Si Hoo, and Jae Min have showed a lot of it during this arc. I think the development of the characters made up for the back peddling we've been going through since the beginning of the current arc. There's still some stuff left unanswered, and I'm sure it'll play a big role in each of the characters respective relationships and development, either positively or negatively.

Usually in relationship the bigger the secret the more impact it will have on the relationship when it comes out. Most of the time it is negative and the person who kept the secret is mostly to blame. I have faith in Jae Min, but I can't help of worrying that the secret will tear him apart when it comes out. Not because Ma Ri is a Vampire, but the fact she didn't have faith in him to believe her. Trust in your partner to not keep any secret, when that trust is broken it is hard to regain it back.
