^^ Never mind! 10 chapters wrong usually is very obvious to notice so it's fine. A chapter or two wrong though, it'll end with posts like "where you got that RAW!?" or "When did that chapter come out!? Already?".

I was more worried about the translations being way too far from the release. It is weekly based, so it has the most pages in a month than any montly series and it takes a lot of the teams to keep it up to date release.

OH, that is a good reference to Gantz. Strong magic but limited to area and has a small delay, so far a fast runner like Neko could manage combat. The only problem with Neko power so far, before the 1st chapter as we see she destroys everything is that she can only blow things, but guys now she has destroyed a tree, an organic being, so her powers are kinda growing as they did not notice this latest chapter?

Yes, it was sad but it seems she showed Ryouta some important things by inserting some of her memories into him, so intel was given about the lab and stuff I guess.

They should have tried finding themselves a gun again to shoot off the beacon... and she was too naive, you can be nice to anybody but not the man who watches over you. Should have erased his existence, literally.

Dunno if it would have been effective, it could even be shoot partialy and the remains send the signal regardless.
Now Ryouta uncle can take the beacon plus the harnessed and study it, perhaps find a way to save the magicians.

How would that have helped? You do realise that if he doesn't check in, the main base will still remote eject her beacon right?

Meh, that may be the case but at least she eliminates one possibility. I don't think there's constant surveillance on her, otherwise there's no point in having a guy follow her around. The base will probably only eject if the mission doesn't succeed in xxx time or she doesn't report back in xxx time. Anyway, we can all agree that she was running out of time and I thought using a gun might be worth the risk.

Holy Molly Ryouta, all I could imagine was Death Note "Keikaku Doori" image.

Why couldn't we have this protagonist in Elfen Lied, he woulda solved and saved everything!

Maybe because Lucy is a tragic heroine who tainted herself in too much blood and death penalty is her unavoidable fate. So because she will end up dying no matter what, we only need a scarecrow as the main character to do nothing but be with her until the end and cry over her after her death.
But in this story, the girls are so innocent compare to Lucy, so they need to be save by a shinning knight aka Ryouta.

Brynhild Darkness was published in French last month. I really enjoyed the read, especially considering that we never got a translated Elfen Lied manga.

nfsac Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2010 Location: Lineage 2 - Age: 32	As for chapter 42, things are heating up Spoiler for Spoilers for 42: We see the girls having some short of study section and Kazumi start teasing Neko about doing naughty things with Ryouta, and Neko acidentaly uses her powers, when Kazumi talks about a kiss her powers goes berserker and she hungs up after it, she leaves the place mad and embarassed, Ryouta goes after. Change to a female doctor and her driver from the research lab driving her there. In the inside road they are caught in a explosion by a naked magician that escaped. Everything that gets inside her projected circle is butchred in a way she wants. The man manages to trown the woman away but is caught and split in half.
