Also Neko was a human. She just preferred to be in cat form. She probably got her powers at a young age and just liked being a cat. Kuroh was a human too. As was Anna.

If you use "acts like a cat = definitely a cat" as an excuse you need to really get some critical thinking skills.

Also one of the Homra members is a dog who can turn into a speaking human, so animal strains with human intelligence and skills is at least possible.

In the Black and White novel, it's confirmed that she's actually human(though Strain):

Her family was wiped out in the last attack that killed Suoh's predecessor, so she uses illusions to make some couple think that she's actually their kid. Of course this eventually gets shot to hell whens someone comes in to check on her, and she gets the idea for being a cat from a book that her foster dad read to her.

We never find out her actual name, other than the fact that she also had a sister

Anyone read Scepter 4 manga yet? It's okay....at least those guys don't annoy me as much as the twats from HOMRA do.

I liked the silver clan too fwiw.

Also, thanks for the info about Neko - hadn't heard that before, she (and strains in general) were always a mystery for me, though I have only seen S1 and read a few chs. of the "Red" manga come to think of it, so it is not like I am keeping abreast of the creative output for this series either. ^^

A year later and I still don't get the appeal of Fushimi/Misaki. At least Suoh and Munakata are good-looking.

The only HOMRA members I like are Kusanagi and the big guy.

I got this from tumblr so I don't have a link actually, but the premise seems to be this:

The MC is a Strain who gets in trouble when her powers go berserk so her school kicks her out. Principal Ichigen Miwa, who runs the Reed Academy, wants her to enroll there. Kukuri(yep, she's in this) shows our MC around the school. Thus, the fun begins...

Kuroh, Totsuka, Misaki and Fushimi seem to be the biggest lover candidates.

Suoh's description in a nutshell: he's been held back and doesn't do shit Of course the MC comes upon him and Munakata fighting like the lil' married couple they are.

Shiro's in this too as a 'sub' character. I think the description has Neko in this as well, but no word on whether Awashima or Anna will appear. Maybe Awashima can be like a mother figure to the MC.

Also, the setting for the game will be the setting for Gakuken K(comic manga that's supposed to start this month.)

Only routes I seriously want to read are Kuroh's, Kusanagi's(Who sounds like he's the Matthew McConaughey of this: the guy who runs the local bar and hooks up the teachers with alcohol and well...he and Kuroh are my favorites anyway) and maybe Totsuka because he seems like a sweetie. I'd read everyone else's just for shits and giggles and you know the HoYay will probably be strong with Fushimi and Misaki.
