Hmm no info yet when the shounen manga Kaze no Stigma is starting, and other than Spring 2007, no specific broadcast date for the anime has been announced yet.

Just searching around.. and I Dug up a few picture of the characters =) : Check them out here.

Not quite what I had in mind for the Character designs and while I wasn't expecting the girl to look like she just come out of Canvas 2 Still.. they are alright, the girl is Cute! Though I'm a little suprized that they didn't give her darker red hair.

Ok some info about the manga

The manga as I said will be serialized in the shounen manga magazine Dragon AGE, and it will start serialization in May 2007 issue of Dragon AGE magazine.

Shounen manga.

You can't blame whats his face from Shana for having no spine. A. He had to put up with Shana, and B. Let me know how much spine you have while comming to terms with fact that you are dead and are just a shell of your former self.

In anycase this looks promising, and I do like the fact that the main characters look like they belong in high school rather than first year middle school (shana).

Kazuma's 22 if I recall correctly. Ayano is 16 and her brother's 12.

I know about that site, I just forgot to mention it.

Fujimi Shobo is a publisher of shounen(boy's) light novels, its the same publisher that published the shounen light novels:

Full Metal Panic (shounen light novels)
The Third (shounen light novels)
BLACK BLOOD BROTHERS (shounen light novels)
Slayers (shounen light novels)
Maburaho (shounen light novels)

Fujimi Shobo is a pretty known publisher that only publishes shounen(boy's) light novels.

Anyway the 3rd volume of the short stories shounen light novel will be out on 20/3/2007, its cover can be seen on the site you mentioned.

This anime looks so awesome. I really cant wait. The main hero guy is the best ive seen. He looks really something. But i cant help thinking the girl has pink hair instead of red. I hope for further fluid animation and CG detail.

Thanks for all the updates you guys.

Once it starts we can all complain about Gonzo together. Well actually I kind of like Gonzo since they've made some original series that I quite like such as Last Exile and a whole slew of other guilty pleasure titles. And I actually like the Black Cat anime slightly better than the manga since the manga's artstyle is taking some serious getting used too. People should consider rather carefully, whether Gonzo's changes ruin the story or allow for an appropriate ending within the much more limited time they often have to tell the story compared to a manga or light novel.

Get this! For those who are Shounen Onmyouji fans, do you know Saori Kiuji? The singer for the ending of Shounen Onmyouji? Well she's gonna sing the opening for Kaze no Stigma! Proof is here!
