What Cell Phone Do You Own?
Time for something different, everyone!
What cell phone do you own? What service provider are you with? Tell us the good and the bad! Last week, I got the new LG KH510. It's a black and silver slide phone, as seen in the picture below... it's actually pretty cool, but it has a really short battery life... My service provider is Telstra. Spoiler for Picture:

I used to own a Samsung Blackjack (AT&T) which had Windows Mobile, but got rid of it because it was clunky, slow and wasn't compatible with my Macbook Pro without using Windows. I replaced it with a iPhone 3G 8 GB which is jailbroken and it's the best phone I owned so far (although the battery life isn't as good). I use it mainly to surf the web, listen to music, and read my email.
I prefer smartphones to cell phones mainly because they do more and I don't like regular cell phones because they don't do much.

Cell phones are the bane of my existence. I feel like breaking phones every time I see my friends whip them out in a car or just in public to text people about silly stuff.
I own a simple razor... That I use rarely.

Or put your gloves off? Lol. No actually I read before that there are some special gloves designed for that...I don't know the details, but apparently it works.
I wear hobo kinda gloves anyway, so I don't have that problem

Currently using a Sony Ericsson W760a .... not real fond of the membrane keypad but I couldn't find a model I really liked that didn't have other issues.

Sony Ericsson w350i. Great little old-school flip down style phone. I think I'm the only person who uses their phone to send messages, make calls, use as an alarm clock and use just as an MP3 player.
Spoiler for Picture:
Has all the features I need without the kitchen sink thrown in. Last edited by Woodchips; 2009-03-31 at 11:24. |

My phone is like 3 years old, no camera, no MP3, needs a radio headset, no internets, no mem card slot.
In Singapore you cannot have a camera phone in the army, I was in the army from 2006 - 2008, so I've been sticking with this phone that I can't even remember the model number and can't find on google. Anyway its a super reliable model that most of us who serve National Service here in Singapore used, the phone is incredibly durable and hardy. I've a friend with the same model that literally dropped at least once per day in the bunk. And when I was looking for the model number on the phone which I still can't find, I opened up the battery cover and saw a tiny insect crawling inside along with some leftover soil when I took the phone for outfield exercises. This phone is awesome. Otherwise, my original phone was Nokio 6630. I stopped using it ever since I got into the army, was pretty cool for its time and quickly dropped out of coolness being the first Nokia 3G phone. Koizumi Itsuki of Suzumiya Haruhi used the same phone. EDIT: Damned Imageshack, no pics.
