(L) Monogatari Series Light Novel discussion

2ch spoilers are out. I don't know if its real but they're saying lost and riddle are the continuation of formula. Araragi continues to be the narrator.

Riddle

Spoiler:

Sodachi came back to school.
Meets arararagi.
Ararargi tries to calm sodachi because of what happened in Formula.
Grabs her boobs.
Stabs him with a pen.
Gahara cockblocks.
Two bitches had a catfight.
Both got banged up they stayed at home for the coming days.
Cue flashback to middle school.
Sodachi is the reason ararargi likes math.
Sodachi teaches him in a run-down classroom.
Turns out the classroom is sodachi's home.
It is run-down because parents had divorce.
Sodachi knows arararagi's parents are police officers.
Sodachi sends an SOS riddle to arararagi to help her then.
He ignores it.
Sodachi had to transfer away from naoetsu because divorce.
Sodachi apparently lived in the arararagi household when she was a child because of her family issues.
Arararagi also apparently forgotten all about sodachi's case.
Sodachi hates him for it lol.

Lost

Spoiler:

Arrararagi checks sodachi's condition.
Hanekawa checks hitagi's condition.
Ougi start spewing some philosophical bullshit on arararagi again.
Hanekawa cockblocks ougi.
Hanekawa and Araragi then went to sodachi's house instead.
Hanekawa started talking about the sodachi family affairs.
Apparently sodachi's hikki mom went outside and never came back.
Sodachi will only come back to school once she founds her hikki mom.
On the way home Arararagi met Ougi again.
Ougi already knows why sodachi is not going to school (Formula).
Ougi insults hanekawa's wrong conclusion.
Hanekawa got angry.
Splashes herself with water.
Her tiger stripe hair exposed.
Went genius mode and came to the right conclusion about sodachi's case for three seconds.
Hanekawa now hates and suspicous about Ougi as well.
Cue timeskip.
Hitagi and Sodachi both exchanged apology texts to each other.
Sodachi ended up transferring for good because scholarship and Formula incident.
Sodachi writes a letter to hitagi and put it on her desk.
Contents is unknown.

The most interesting part about spoilers of first volume of Owari is that I don't see at all how it all links with an end of the story. The letter of Sodachi probably plays a main part for it, but we don't know what she wrote in it.

Yaeh, you're right. Reread first and only chapter of Nadeko Snake translated to English and Araragi refers there to her as childhood friend of her sister.
But as for me, I think that if he played with her a lot then he should count her as his childhood friend too.

Yeah, a childhood friend he completely forgot that he lived with for awhile. I guess those snippets in Kabuki about his character being "cooler" (read:colder) before he was linked to Kisshot is correct. So that gulp she made means that his soft-heartedness may be partially her fault for reals.

Ok, a bit confused. I know that the first part of Owari (Formula) happens before Otori, right? When does all of this (Riddle and Lost) happen? My guess is before Koi but probably after Oni. But I'm ultimately unsure.

Also why does Hanekawa splash herself? Does the dye dumb her down or something?

You are most certainly confused. Formula happens AFTER Otori but it's about something that happens before Kizu. I assume Riddle and Lost happens right after Formula. This all happens before Koi I think.

It happens when Araragi was getting his ass kicked by Kagenui. She says that out of the three of them only she graduated. I don't remember it saying it was because of Gaen though.

Oikura Sodachi is just curious to me. Stories don't generally introduce a new character so late in the end of the tale. What can the new girl offer for the conclusion that the existing girls can't do?
