Really enjoyed this episode.
It feels so weird getting so much skin from kyoani. I'm thinking about getting the blurays now... hmmmmmm Ahh I see... Well when I saw how none of their breasts moved (in their swimsuits) a single pixel when they should've been moving I was upset but thanks to the magic of editing we've got that covered already haha. I mean like c'mon it's not like they're plastered there onto their chests.

This show is steadily getting better. The fanservice helps. In fact, it's pretty much the main attraction right now if I'm being honest. All of the girls are gorgeous, Isuzu in particular. She's easily the hottest girl of the season. Just look at that body! Now, if only Kyoani could add jiggling, it would be perfect.
I'm enjoyed Kanie as a main character. He's extremely confident and never gets flustered, which basically makes him the completely opposite of a harem MC. Incidentally, I'm surprised this hasn't turned into a harem yet, but there is still time for the girls to show interest in him. Another thing he has going for him is that he's smart. Lowering the price of the tickets to 30 yen was questionable, but it makes perfect sense given that their immediate concern is to reach 500000 customers, not make money. The park is already broke, might as well go for it. They don't have anything to lose.

The very beginning of the episode where Kanie looks at the mirror and said "Every outfit is a perfect 10 on me." was just one of the awesome moments this episode, I really like this anime.
Though i wonder why Isuzu was upset. |

Ep 03
Hmm ... well ... the ep was okay, but as odd as it might sound I am yet to be REALLY impressed by Kanie. What he has done so far is good, though, especially considering the fact that the park residents are kinda stuck in their half-assed, lazy ways, and do not really understand the seriousness of the situation they are in. Even Moffle and his ridiculously belligerent attitude (no matter how one might empathize with his angles on things from time to time) needs to have a serious reality check, despite both his and the other park members' talents or whatever. I mean seriously - Fridays off? Closing early? And the last gasp life or death suggestions Kanie makes are met with such resistance as they were? What? From what we understood if the park closes down these fairies could disappear - cease to exist, possibly. I am still not sold on the series, but it seems to be creeping in the right direction.

I totally agree with Kanie, he makes every outfit he wears a 10. What a guy *_*
I expected there to be a reason for park's poor condition, but that was just plain awful. Those fairies were asking to die. But tending to all those matters was easy, and I think there will be tougher challenges in the future, so let's see how Kanie handles bigger problems. And Latifa is adorable no matter what she wears. |

Kanie and Moffle keep on clashing.
At least he has some good ideas that could work. That Moffle sure has a temper ROFL He could work as a boxer or a bouncer. Lucky they had those memory wipe bullets.. The video was a good idea, but they have to work on it more.

As attractive as some of the girls in this show are, I found the swimsuit marketing made me kind of uncomfortable. Despite being rather tame it ended up feeling rather sleazy.
I do find Random C Reviewer Passerby's thoughts on that scene kind of interesting though even if I also wonder if he might be giving the show too much credit: Quote:

So far Kanie is doing pretty good job and he knows what is important since he realizes the main concern is attracting customers not making money. His narcissism also is pretty fun and it's cool he can handle the situations calmly. I really have to question how they run that park before though.
The fan service was good especially Isuzu. She does have the best body out of all of them.

If the swimsuit advertisement was meant to make me feel uncomfortable then yes, it had its intended effect. Question is, was it meant to have that effect, or was it more of an excuse to show the girls in swimsuits?
I'm not sure if that scene quite qualifies as parody, but I've noticed that parody in anime is often used as an excuse to indulge the element being parodied. That can send a bit of a mixed message. Overall I don't actually have a big problem with that part. I just wanted to note it made me feel somewhat uncomfortable. I also thought some of the ideas of what the scene might be intended to do were interesting even if I'm not really sure whether or not such theories are reading too much into it. |

Despite dong what he did, Kayne was not sleazy himself at any point. He didn't do it for his own entertainment, it is purely for manipulating the consumer. Marketing is a form of mind control, and in its own way it has to be done.

Yeah, right. And that Bonta-kun is there because... reasons. They just wanted sell another moecrap series with FMP references and fanservice. First pisses me off, and I don't like second one. After 3eps it's 3/10. Dropped.

I don't usually get piqued by store specific promotional merch...
If I get all volumes from Tsutaya I get a box for them with this artwork. Quote:
I'm leaning towards the sofmap tapestry but then I don't get a box. I could buy vol.1 twice to get the amazon box but I like the Tsutaya box art a lot more... Or I could just not get anything... They've got me... I think I finally understand the guys who buy the series like thrice over from different stores to get all the limited items. (not really though that's still ridiculous haha)
