After an harem serie i usually want to watch an action serie first. Because the girl that i like never wins, so i want some explosions.
I am watching now a short serie called "Karas" and i like it, i hope it will turn into a 26 eps serie soon. |

Lamune I recommend if your just into relationships, not anything else. If your thinking Lamune has anything else, then no, do not watch Lamune. I like Lamune because it shows a much different veiw of relationships than from the numerous other anime I have seen. I love Lamune, and will keep it in my heart for the years to come.

I'd like to warn everyone, just watch episode 1, that's it, before you go any further. And after you watch episode 1, think about these important things: Is the male character a strong willed person? Was the male character's feelings forced, or out of reflex? Is this something I want to watch? After you've thought these things, just take one real long look at Apekatt's last emoticon used, and just stare at it and see how powerful that tiny liitle yellow faced picture is trying to tell you I commend you Apekatt on a nice choice of emote |

Canvas 2 (more of a set of overlapping love triangles than a harem show) is pretty good... loved how it started seriously and *then* slipped in some humor.
(ongoing fansub) Mahoraba: Heartful Days is a must see (completed fansub) Tsukuyomi Moon Phase was quirky romance dramatic fun with vampires (completed - recently licensed for release next summer) yeah... Elfen Lied is violently pretty (think School Dayz Kaede with more blood) I liked Fuukoi Alternative for its quirkiness and satisfying ending.

I don't know about Lamune and Canvas 2, but since they're in the same list i started downloading them myself right away as well Maburaho and Mahoraba are btw also from the same kind but not as good. EDIT: Ichigo 100% is also very harem-like and i bit more ecchi |

Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien is not like Shuffle...KGNE is a realistic, loathsome, jaded, and gut-wrenching experience (whether you like the ending or not) and really involves only 2 girls...Shuffle is just a haremy harem, not much more IMO...
Anyways...If your looking for a relationship anime that's fairly new and somewhat addictive I'd go with Paradise Kiss...It's probably one of the most realistic portrayle of relationship issues (in a contemporary setting) that I can recall in years...Much better than Shuffle and with pretty real emotional pay-offs....
